Smells delicious when you walk in. Got the chicken parm and it really hit the spot. Loved the staff funny folks and that goes a long way. As long as the food is decent and the staff is good I will show back up to places and this place had it both, good food and good service. Would absolutely recommend this place. read more

My fiance and I happened to stumble upon this place after meeting with our real estate agent located next door to the shop. I was really in a mood for a cheese steak but he wanted pizza instead so we stopped in here because they have both. My cheese steak was amazing! I love how they don't lump dry meat into bread then dump melted cheese on top. They actually seem to mix the cheese and meat together and put whatever toppings you want on it (I happen to love pickles on my cheese steaks). My fiance says he pizza was really good, not greasy or bland. It was so good that we went in the next day too for more. The staff was really friendly too. We ate there at least once a week for about a month and a half before we bought our house and moved to Middletown. When I still worked in Newark and would pass it on the way home I'd occasionally pick up dinner but now since I work in Elkton, it's kind of a drive out of the way... But I will drive out of my way just for their cheese steaks! read more

New to this area and was really surprised how good the food is. And I love their signs .

Just recently been going here really love there subs and pizza is fantastic lunch time if I want a slice I come here .Staff is always very friendly and helpful definitely recommend going read more

Was running late for work so had to come here again for a slice..... the lady that works the register, I believe she is the owner, was touching money and then touch the food without washing her hands. On top of it, she was sweating like crazy and using her hands to wipe the sweat off her face..... next time I will just go to KFC across the street read more

Customer service is lacking from the owner. If you feel like get attitude or even yelled at this is the place to go. The pizza is legit. It's nothing crazy just authentic pizza. It was one of my go to spots. But after getting chewed out about needing to use the bathroom I will never go back. read more

Ate once here when we first moved into the area. I admit, we weren't very happy with the regular pizza. Very plain and not much on taste. But, after reading all the reviews we decided to give it another try, and glad we did. Maybe they just had an off day or was in a hurry that day, because this time around it was excellent. We got pizza steak subs too and a large is HUGE. You guys got yourself customers for life now. read more

I never write reviews, but this Pizza is literally the BEST FN PIZZA EVER!!!!! I don't care that they don't deliver, I don't care that they're not on Uber eats. I will drive to go get this Pizza because it is that good. Omg. read more

Garlic bread is sooooooo fire. I can't get enough. Sweet staff. Not ideal for dining but take out pizza and garlic bread, it's a go. Ohhhh and there sauceeeee it's warm and tasty probably the beet I've had. Yum to the dipping sauce. read more

This place is a joke. I just tried ordering a cheese steak with wiz on it...and the kid on the phone refused to do so. They have the cheese there for cheese fries so why the big deal to plop some on a steak? Charge me more, idc, but to just tell me "No, just put American on it." Lol I have a picky bf who doesn't like American. Good thing Mario's came to the rescue with there excellent cheese and btw Riviera doesn't even offer delivery. Boo for you guys! read more

We've been ordering pizza from here for a while now and we will not go anywhere else! Their white pizza is amazing and their other pizzas are as well! It's hard to find a pizza place that's small business and everything on their menu is satisfying. Whenever someone asks me where they should order pizza from, this is the place I send them to! read more

Everything they make is awesome! Eat here atleast two times a week! Only thing I would like is some parm cheese...

The most bland pizza I have ever had. The sauce lacks salt and is very basic. The place is petty dirty too. The crushed peppers, oregano, and Parmesan cheese are literally chained down to a table. I would avoid this place at all cost read more

This is the best place to get primo pizza, Stromboli's, cheese steaks, chicken cheese steaks and much more.

This place has amazing pizza at great prices. Called up to place my first ever order and the woman on the phone helped me out with a great deal, then when I arrived to pick up my pie, she was super funny with a New York style attitude that was just for fun. Definitely going to order pizza from here again. read more

If you want Real Pizza then Riviera is your place! It doesn't get the respect it deserves. My friends from NYC will only get pizza from there when they come to visit. The staff is great, prices are great for the quality of pizza they turn out. They also have great salads, cheesesteaks, and other Italian specialities; but, the place is all about the pizza! read more

The best hands down pizza..ive been thru and traveled to many hand made pizza stores and i rate this #1.......all the ingredients are fresh and the pie is made to order..a must place to eat when your in Deleware.... read more

A great place to eat real pizza. I have not had a bad meal there yet. A real Italian person will make your pizza, not the next person to shove out in a pizza like oven. read more

Either I'm really hungry or this is good pizza! Glad to be able to run in and choose a slice -- which they oven heat quickly -- or order a full pizza or sub. Crust is thin, and I'm glad about that. I'll be back if I'm in this area again at lunchtime! read more

When I'm missing a good Philly ground sausage pizza slice, I can come here. The cheesesteaks are also pretty close Philly. And I love their cheese fries! Good prices for great food. This place is a little gem! Only drawback...they don't deliver. read more

We happened upon this pizza/Italian place when we were in the area . Place did not have much ambiance- and it seemed like the staff focused on taking your order and moving you through the line. But the food was very good. We had an antipasto salad and spaghetti with meat, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. If we lived in the area, we could see ourselves visiting often. We were glad we ate here - well worth the stop! read more

The pizza here wasn't very good. Pretty bland to tell the truth. The subs here rock though. Lots of meat and blows away other sub shops in the area. read more

The best Pizza place around. We've been coming here for years, 10 to be exact. Whenever we order pizza-we get it here. Sauce is the best!!!

Always great pizza! Best in the Bear area.. for now! Been here for 10 months, and gonna try other places.

The food is good and yummy but not rememberable or special. The staff is very very nice and polite. Very affordable and reasonable. Nothing on the menu really stands out. A really nice spot for kids to pickup a slice after school. Or for you to satisfy your craving for pizza on the run. read more

So a lot of my friends have been mentioning this great Pizza Restaurant lately and I thought I'd try it out. They claimed it was the best pizza they ever had. I just so happen to live right down the road from it so one night I decided to order a Large Cheese Pizza for take out. While I'm in the store it seemed to be a very laid back setting. The workers seemed to enjoy their job. I eventually got my pizza after a short wait and once I get home and open it I find out that it wasn't fully cooked. The cheese was falling off the crust, the sauce was still cold, and I had to eat it with a fork and a knife. I'd heard a lot of great things of this place I just wonder if I just suffered a bad first impression. read more

We live nearby & love to order out from here. They are more than just a pizza shop. If you like old fashioned style pizza you will love it! The lasagna, mozzarella sticks, burgers, fries & cheesesteaks are delicious too. read more

I decided to try Riviera based on the reviews. I ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni and sausage pizza. To say the least I was not impressed. The pizza did not have a lot of flavor and I've had better pizza from other places in Delaware. read more

Pizza is the best in Delaware I have had. Not a place to visit for ambiance but the food is always excellent.

Don't listen to the 1 star reviews I have been a customer for years and the staff here are always friendly even when you get some of the trashy guest. Their pizza and cheesesteaks are great. The baked raviolis are also great. I haven't had a bad dish in this establishment and will be a customer for many years to come. read more

Favorite pizza of all time!!! If you live greasy pizza like I do this is the place to get it.

Staff is very friendly and food comes out fast. Prices are cheap for the quality you receive from an old school pizza shop.

The food is always great and the service is excellent. Subs an cheesesteaks are amazing too. Pasta dishes not so much; always overlooked.

I am from NY. The saddest thing is looking at all the crappy pizza places saying they have NY pizza. Hands down Riviera is the only place that does. I love the whole gang and eat there often. There is no other Delware pizza place I will eat from. This is absolutely as good as it gets. Evyerthing they make and I mean everything is absolutely out of this world!!! read more

Riviera Pizza has some of the most authentic NY style pizza I have had in the MD/DE area and I moved here from NY 6 years ago, so I have had plenty of time to try out different places. If I had to choose I would 100% go here before anywhere else. They have the old school style pizza ovens and it makes all the difference in the crust. I am picky from the crust to the sauce and cheese used as my pizza standards are very high. I have to say that outside of NY I have not found better pizza crust. The toppings are all very good quality, they use Grande cheese and the sauce is homemade and not sweet, it is very good - seasoned perfectly. The only things I can say that I wish were different is consistency, 95% of the time you get great pizza, occasionally you will get a slice here that is floppy and not crunchy. Also when it comes the specialty slices they have daily, its not always the same choices but there always an abundance of delicious ones to choose from. I would highly suggest you try their Sicilian (square) slices or there white slice with tomato - delicious! If you like the typical style of soft mushy Delaware pizza in this area you probably won't like this place but you should try it anyway. I can't imagine anybody would regret it. read more

Way more then just pizza! Everything I've gotten there has been delicious. White pizza and their buffalo chicken cheesesteak are out of this world! read more

We've been going here for about 6 or 7 years now. Their pizza is good, but their cheesesteaks are awesome! The staff is very friendly. I haven't had anything on the menu that wasn't good, and I don't think their prices have changed at all over the past few years which is also a plus. read more

We have been loyal customers of this restaurant even though we have been aware for quite some time that the owner is arrogant and most of the staff offer mediocre customer service at best. Want an Italian restaurant that is quite expensive where you can't even get a shaker of Parmesan for your pizza? Well, this is the place. What finally drove me to write this review is that my daughter ordered two x-large pizzas, a salad and jalapeno poppers today. The order came to approximately forty dollars. She brought the food back to our house which is about 10-15 minutes from there. She realized that they had forgotten to put the poppers in the bag. She immediately called and let them know they weren't in the bag. They didn't apologize or offer her anything off on a future order, i.e. SOMETHING to say, "hey, we messed up, but we appreciate and want your future business". They said she could come get her food or come get her money back, her choice. Obviously, she went back to get her food that they forgot to put in her bag. I think their complete disregard for the inconvenience they put her through is appalling. Their pizza is very good, but their customer service is awful! Word to the wise, check your bag before leaving because they certainly won't. read more

Great pizza and served by nice people. Maryanne is the best. We've been getting their pizza for years.

Great food and friendly people. Best buffalo chicken cheesesteak I've ever had. Highly recommend it.
