Cute and colorful restaurant with tons of options! The complimentary chips and salsa were good, and the main food was delicious! I got the chimichangas and they came with beans and rice. There were several other people in the restaurant but it still didn't take long for us to get our food. I want to go back and try some other things, because there were four or five other options I was trying to decide between! My mom and sister got two different types of enchiladas and they also said they were really tasty. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely good, but if you want an even better deal go for their lunch menu. They also have a pretty big vegetarian section if that's what you're looking for. I'm not in this area often, but when I am it's a place I'd like to come back to. read more

This is a great local Mexican restaurant to Cecil county. It has the beautiful, typical ambience of Riviera Maya Mexico! Service is great. I think I've had the same server each time I've been there. She remembers who we are. She knows I like extra salsa. the food is delicious. I mean everybody has something they don't like, but I love their fajitas. The salsa is to die for so unbelievably fresh. The drinks on the drink menu are also awesome. The only thing I feel like they are missing is a white salsa, but that is way more of an American thing. I feel like this is a hidden gem in Cecil County! My husband orders something different every time and he has been very happy with everything he has ordered The food is very authentic Mexican and just as colorful ! Honestly for the amount of cars in the parking lot I thought that this place would have been better. The food was okay and a little bland, then the margarita was pretty watered down. When you order the steak here just prepare yourself for "steakum" quality meat. If you like that, there's nothing wrong with it but that was not what I was expecting. The service was fast though and the waitress we had was lovely but the food really made this place not worth it. read more

Fun and inviting place with a large menu. I stopped in for lunch on a beautiful Saturday and had a frozen margarita which was a little on the sweet side. But yummy. The salsa was obviously homemade and sweet as well. The chips were not homemade as far as I could tell. I ordered four street tacos of Al Pastor, but I would have been fine with three. There was fresh cilantro and what appeared to be canned pineapple in small chunks. Glorious with the salsa verde. It's nice to know I have an option for Mexican with a liquor license around me even if it is a 20 min drive. read more

Great place to eat with very festive decor and friendly service! We went on a date night and chose this local restaurant. We were instantly greeted and seated in a booth. Decor is very festive and colorful. Waitress was super nice, always smiling and checked in on us multiple times. We ordered the quesadilla fajita with chicken and burrito. Complimentary chips and salsa were placed on our table almost immediately after sitting down. When we got our food, it was abundant and flavorful. Okay, it's time. My partner and I have been going here for a couple years pretty regularly. Maya used to be pretty good Mexican for a very small rural town. However, their service and food quality have steady gone down over the last few months. Veggie burritos are cool if you want to choke down large chunks of carrot and cauliflower. They use the stems of cauliflower to make burritos, which is almost inedible. My babe gets the chicken burrito americano most times, and lately it's weirdly soggy and flavorless. Things are coming out... watery. As if they don't thaw the chicken enough and don't cook it throughly enough. It's flavorless. Salsa tastes like it's been sitting for a long time. Rice with corn is almost inedible because of the corn... I have to spit it out because it's so fibrous. This place is: Okay I'm starving and everything else is closed.. let's hope for the best. I try not to eat here lol read more

Came here with some friends after a day at the winery. I wasn't too hungry but could always eat! The wait staff was friendly and we were able to get our food fairly quickly. I got the shrimp quesadilla with peppers/onions. Pretty good! Came with sour cream and rice. Very cool Mexican and Aztec theme. Decorative chairs and tables. Chips and freshly made salsa was tasty (but, beware they will charge you for extra for additional chips). First time here and I was totally impressed with the atmosphere, service and food. The place is bright and festive. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The chips and salsa were homemade and FREE. Some Mexican restaurants charge for them. The shrimp Chimichangas were delicious ! Lots of shrimp and very tasty. The beans and rice were also very good. We ordered take out on a Friday night. Service was friendly and the order was ready promptly and was accurate. Each item that we ordered was delicious. Unlike every other Mexican restaurant I have tried, they do not include complementary chips and salsa with an order. Excellent adult beverage selection. Colorful fun decor in the restaurant and tables are cleaned and sanitized between diners. Outdoor seating is also available. This has been a staple in our community for years and is usually quite good. However, a recent visit changed that opinion. The tortilla shells that they are now using are MUCH smaller for their fish tacos, I assume so that they can fill with less fish. When we received our bill, we were charged $2 for Xtra limes and a second helping of chips and salsa cost us $1.50 (that the server replenished without asking if we wanted them). On your next visit, be sure to watch all of the lil' things you request when visiting. read more

Had lunch with friends and family on a Thursday. Seated within one minute, the wait staff there is always so friendly and service is always great. I had the lunch chimichanga special which was delicious and just enough - portion size right. I have been always get the nachos Supremo from the appetizer menu and it is huge. Definitely more than a meal for one person. My son got a veggie burrito and loved it. We also love the salsa and chips that comes out gratis when you arrive. Drink specials are good as well, great prices. Plenty of free parking. Great place to meet up for a casual lunch or dinner with friends!! read more

The lunch tacos were inedible in my opinion. The chicken had an odd taste and the beef was so salty and the soft shells soggy. The salsa was very sweet too sweet. The rice and beans was ok and the place was clean but no soap in the bathroom dispenser. There was no lettuce on the tacos. The service was excellent and when they asked me how everything was on my barely touched plate they apologized and gave me a steep discount. I really wanted to like this place. I hate to give a less than positive review and I hope they improve read more

Hey, I'm in the middle of nowhere, visiting a farm for a goth metal music festival? We stopped for take out here for half the farm. I will say - skip on the burritos. While the meat was okay (I got pork and he got chicken), I'm not a fan of burritos being overly stuffed with rice and especially corn. They pre-mix their rice sides with corn in fact. Mommy hates it. The salad on the side also is really sad. Where they do shine though are with their nachos, which given that I probably chipped in more money than any other person on this farm, helped myself to for breakfast the next day. They were even solid with being soggy. They're loaded with guac, salsa, jalapenos, queso, sour cream, choice of meat. Just everything. But most importantly, there is no corn on this ish. Cold/or re-heated both excellent options. Lastly, I stole someone's steak tacos out of the fridge after one too many drinks which I have zero qualms over and those were pretty legit. Do the tacos and nachos, skip the burritos. read more

The vegetable chimichanga was awful with big chunks of carrots and broccoli and cauliflower. A little onion and peppers or even chickpeas would have been much better. I ate there about a year ago and it was much better. Maybe other entrees are better but don't order vegetable chimichangas. read more

Absolutely amazing! I've been going here for years since before they went into the bigger building. Service is always amazing although I love Sandra especially. Food is absolutely to die for way better then those chain restaurants. You can tell they pride themselves in quality. Plus their flan is my favorite. read more

Every time I order tacos from there and pick them up the kitchen does not make them right I tell the lady what I want and she reads it back to me I go to pick them up she read it back to me again I get home and the tacos that I get are not what I asked for twice in a row I'm not blaming the staff that work around in the front but the kitchen needs to learn how to read read more
