This is a great local Mexican restaurant to Cecil county. It has the beautiful, typical ambience of Riviera Maya Mexico! Service is great. I think I've had the same server each time I've been there. She remembers who we are. She knows I like extra salsa. the food is delicious. I mean everybody has something they don't like, but I love their fajitas. The salsa is to die for so unbelievably fresh. The drinks on the drink menu are also awesome. The only thing I feel like they are missing is a white salsa, but that is way more of an American thing. I feel like this is a hidden gem in Cecil County! My husband orders something different every time and he has been very happy with everything he has ordered The food is very authentic Mexican and just as colorful ! They have plenty of parking located all around the building.

Fun and inviting place with a large menu. I stopped in for lunch on a beautiful Saturday and had a frozen margarita which was a little on the sweet side. But yummy. The salsa was obviously homemade and sweet as well. The chips were not homemade as far as I could tell. I ordered four street tacos of Al Pastor, but I would have been fine with three. There was fresh cilantro and what appeared to be canned pineapple in small chunks. Glorious with the salsa verde. It's nice to know I have an option for Mexican with a liquor license around me even if it is a 20 min drive.

Great place to eat with very festive decor and friendly service! We went on a date night and chose this local restaurant. We were instantly greeted and seated in a booth. Decor is very festive and colorful. Waitress was super nice, always smiling and checked in on us multiple times. We ordered the quesadilla fajita with chicken and burrito. Complimentary chips and salsa were placed on our table almost immediately after sitting down. When we got our food, it was abundant and flavorful. Would definitely recommend this place to any locals or visitors who love Mexican food.

Came here with some friends after a day at the winery. I wasn't too hungry but could always eat! The wait staff was friendly and we were able to get our food fairly quickly. I got the shrimp quesadilla with peppers/onions. Pretty good! Came with sour cream and rice. My friends got a variety of dishes and loved their meals as well :) got leftovers for lunch the next day too.

Very cool Mexican and Aztec theme. Decorative chairs and tables. Chips and freshly made salsa was tasty (but, beware they will charge you for extra for additional chips). Food portions were a good size and prices were reasonable. We had burritos and fajitas - all were excellent! Frozen mango daiquiri was really good too.

We stopped in on a Tuesday evening and were seated right away. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and while it did start to fill up, there was never a wait. The restaurant itself was clean and casual, and they do serve alcohol (it looked like they have happy hour specials as well, though we didn't try any). They brought out complimentary chips and salsa to start, with a note on the menu that a second basket comes with a charge. One thing to be aware of: the chips are not made in a dedicated fryer, so they aren't gluten-free. Service was a bit of a mixed experience. There was definitely a language barrier, which made communication difficult at times--our questions often had to go through multiple staff members before we got an answer. Food came out pretty quickly, which we appreciated since we were in a rush. That said, there were some hits and misses. I ordered tacos al pastor but was given steak tacos instead. I tried to explain the mix-up, but it wasn't resolved, and due to time, I just ate them. Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and tough, and the tacos themselves were very basic--just meat on a corn tortilla, with extras like sour cream costing more. On the plus side, my nephew really enjoyed his kids' cheese quesadilla and fries (the fries looked crispy and well-made). Someone in our group liked the chorizo quesadilla, and another had the birria tacos and thought they were just okay--nothing standout, especially compared to other places. Pricing felt a bit high for the portion size and overall quality. There is a small parking lot, but we didn't have trouble finding a spot, which is always a plus. Overall, Casa Mezcal was convenient and quick, but between the order mix-up, inconsistent food quality, and communication challenges, it didn't fully hit the mark for us. I'd consider giving it another try if I were in the area, but with adjusted expectations.

So I opted not to go because I wanted to experience their atmosphere, customer service and food on a normal day of operation. Fast forward to the evening after Cinco de Mayo. I came in and I was kindly greeted, and since I was flying solo I went to the bartender was quick to greet me, got my chips and salsa to me (which is on the house), and took my drink order. The music was very festive on the inside, the wraparound bar is a nice touch, and the atmosphere overall definitely sets a vibe. I ordered some queso dip cause, why not and it paired nicely with the salsa. I then proceeded to order the Quesabirria Taco dish that was phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend. The birria consommé that comes with it, it so good so dip those tacos like your tastebuds depend on it. To say the least I am glad I went there the day after Cinco de Mayo and while I'm sure it was a vibe itself, I don't think I would have quite gotten the service and experience I did when they are operating on a normal day. All good things in moderation I guess‍.

The portion was also half the size that my kids usually get. Maybe it was just a fluke- I dunno- but I'll give it another try before deciding whether or not to order from here again. Kids love the food here but I'm just really upset with the significant difference in portions and the surcharge. When I tried to ask for more of an explanation - he just gestured to the door.
