I booked our stay at Riverwalk somewhat nervously. I've been in the area before, but had never heard of this hotel. The booking website seemed to hail from the AOL era, making me wonder if the grounds would be just as antiquated. But upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised. From the front, the resort looks fresh and impressively sized. Service from check-in to check-out was seamless, and when we had minor complications with the air-conditioning in our space, they brought a maintenance person to help in good time. Our vineyard-facing unit offered beautiful views, and I cannot understate how helpful it was to have a fully outfitted kitchen in our unit. I made full use of the blender to make morning smoothies, we found cutting boards and spoons aplenty for small snacks, and it was just nice to have an ice machine right in our giant fridge. I could see this being a major convenience for traveling families. To call it a resort might be a bit of a stretch. In my mind, a resort is an all-in-one site, including full options for dining, recreation, and entertainment. True, there are two restaurants, a small winery, a decent arcade, and a decent pool on site. But there were no breakfast options, and the pool was frequently closed while we were there. There's a so-called playspace in the lower level that was somewhat sadly outfitted with a few coloring materials and a pretty glitchy interactive projection that kids were done with after trying for a few seconds. That said, there were curtained off areas of live construction that promise more fun things to come. If the posters in the elevator are to believed, there will be a gondola leading from the hotel to a mountaintop, which should make for a fun wintertime stay. read more

Everybody knows this building, so there isn't much to say. The rooms are as amazing on the inside as you would expect from looking at the outside. Their staff is top notch as well. They bent over backwards to get us a room ready immediately when we needed to change hotels due to problems at the previous place. Probably one of the top five places that I have stayed anywhere! Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The location was breathtaking, and the check-in process was smooth. The customer service exceeded expectations, and the suite was incredible!!! We had stunning views of the mountains, along with a heated pool and jacuzzi right from our balcony. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the living area with the kitchen was beautifully designed, complete with a cozy fireplace!! The deep soaking tub was wonderful as well! Riverwalk resort is just a great place! The amenities are wonderful, the suits are sooo nice, pool and hot tubs are fun, fire pits at night, Friendly staff and Nice Italian restaurant located in the resort. If you like wine they have a Winery in the resort. Location is perfect right next to Loon Mountain. Lots of places to eat and adventures to be had with Atv rentals next door, zip line adventure down the street, Dunkin of course 2 mins away. I can't say enough positive things about this place. The Riverwalk Resort is by far the best resort in town! I stay in the Lincoln, NH area at least 3-4 times a year. The suites are spacious and are equipped with full kitchens including top of the line Kitchen Aid appliances! Some even have a washer and dryer in the unit itself! The facility and grounds are kept extremely clean. The supermarket (Price Chopper) Movie theater, novelty stores, restaurants are all within walking distance. Whether it's spending a warm summer day in their oversized aqua pool, Jacuzzis or wine tasting at Seven Birches Winery, what more can you ask for! Be sure to try their strawberry, blueberry or iced apple seasonal wine. read more

The rooms and amenities (pool, gym, arcade) are great. The rooms feel very clean and high quality - not sure if they've been renovated recently. Love the crown molding! They have nice kitchen and plenty of sleeping space. The pools are nicely constructed and organized, and there are multiple hot tubs. The arcade is clean and has all the "expected" games in 2024. Shuttle buses take you to the slopes. It's one of those resorts built in the middle of a shopping center. The outer landscaping is clean but busy - a lot of parking lot. One side of the hotel looks out at Loon. The food at the on-site restaurant could have been more affordable for the quality. Applebees level food at $30/entree. Only did it one night and then went outside for food. Price Chopper next door is great. Staff was the weak point - the restaurant staff was clearly overwhelmed at dinner. Front desk varied - some were helpful, others gave one word answers or blank stares. Housekeeping was fine. I'd recommend staying here but eat outside food. read more

Thankful to Ro at the front desk for accessing my rhythm in my voice as I was in need of an immediate safe haven while my children skied at loon. The Spa services, La vistas dinner and breakfast menu, also all the staff who were super accommodating during my stay has earned my family's business when we visit. I especially appreciated the ride I received from their Santa's little helper shuttle guy who transferred me to loon and back as my body was not set up for another drive. This place was terrible. They do not care for the rooms and when you reach out to the staff for assistance in resolving a problem they either pass you off to someone else or are not responsive. We have service problems with the room and after reaching out to the front desk staff, housekeeping and two levels of management we got ... nothing. Non responsive staff and non existent management. This is a terrible way to treat guests and overall experience ruined our trip. Traveling with a senior with disabilities is hard enough - to have to chase staff down for assistance for the lack of service, especially at this price point, is simple unacceptable. read more

To summarize Riverwalk offers 1 star service at a 5 Star price. I booked a room for the weekend using their online system, but the the email confirmation showed different dates. I called immediately and was told they would give me a refund (the weekend I wanted was available), but they couldn't process it until the next day, and they would call me back to confirm. No one called back, so I called and was told it went through, but it would take a few weeks to see the refund on my card. 2 months later there was still no refund on my card, so I called during the middle of the week and asked to speak with the manager. I was told the manager was in a meeting and would call me back. She didn't call me back, and I left 5 more messages over the next month. I still didn't hear back, so I went through my credit card company and got a refund. A few months later the charge re-appears on my statement and I was told Riverwalk had disputed the incident with the card company, and had "proof" that I was responsible for the charge. This "proof" was a crumbled piece of paper with a handwritten memo saying I had no evidence they agreed to a refund (was I suppose to record the initial call?). I had visited Riverwalk a few times before and was in touch with their property sales manager. I reached out to him, and was finally able to get me the refund. Apparently, you need to convince them you're potentially interested in buying a condo to get any fair treatment. I would also add, if you're considering a purchase, the figures they provide are completely bogus. Even though the resort has been around for a few years, they still conveniently substitute pricing occupancy rates from the Omni Washington hotel in Bretton Woods which I'm guessing are a lot higher. read more

Wanted to love it... Planned a one night stay here august 2021 The grounds are nice, well appointed and modern lobby, highly rated Italian restaurant on premises, along with a spa and winery. What's not to love?... Arrived a little early and was hoping to check in before their rather late 4pm check in..was told not available so we went out around town. They offered to let us go use the amenities ...pool, gym style. At that time but really just wanted to put our luggage away so waited. .. Finally 4 pm the room is ready. We booked a "suite" it had a fold up QUEEN bed. So disappointed by this fact along with the fact the room did not smell clean but rather crusty. Folded down the bed only to find stains on the comforter. Red stains. Wtf?! Why did we wait so long for this room to be "cleaned". Now it's closed to 5:00 had to trek our way to the rude people working in the lobby. They said didn't you read the website when you booked? It says queen. I guess they took a course in how to place blame on the customer instead of trying to rectify the situation. I said I guess I missed that and also the part where the bedding is stained!!! They were at capacity and had nothing else to offer so we asked if we could leave and be refunded. The girl needed to ask the manager and instead of the manager trying to rectify the situation or hearing the concerns of their patrons, had the girl call me to say we could leave and receive a. Refund. This was all after our first impression led us to inquire about owning there! Obviously not interested after the experience and way we were treated. Also cancelled our dinner and breakfast reservation at their restaurant for our stay there. They don't deserve your money. Poor customer service. Such a great place to take the kids! We all really enjoyed our selves. Ice skating in the snow was magical. Also being so close to a grocery store (walking distance) and having a FULL kitchen was amazing as well!! There were some great restaurants walking distance also. The heated pool and hot tub outside was an amazing experience. Another great perk it was so close to Loon Mountain ski resorts (5-7min drive). There is a free shuttle but we chose to drive our rental just to make it easier with the kiddos. Also BEAUTIFUL views!! Definitely would recommended read more

I'm sorry, this is WELL over due! We came to stay here back in 2018 and I totally forgot to post about this! The RiveWalk Resort has gorgeous rooms, great amenities and wonderful entertainment inside of the resort. First lets discuss the room! It was amazingly spacious with a giant bed, comfortable blankets (not that cheap stuff that is stiff as a board), a small couch with TV and a spacious bathroom. Plus this room had a balcony!! The view of the mountains was just the most amazing thing to wake up to! While we were there we visited the Spa for a foot soak, the restaurant for some dinner, and the winery! First the restaurant. After driving all night to get there, we ran in for a quick bite and we DEFINITELY wanted to stay longer. The food was delicious, the ambiance was comfortable and intimate, and the staff was super friendly. The next day we tried the winery and it was so fun! I am not a wine-o but everything was super tasty. We also indulged in some crackers, cheese and chocolate. A TOTAL MUST! Finally the spa. It was SO great! My man doesn't like to be pampered but I convinced him to endure a foot soak. It was a nice way for us to relax, get off our feet and release all those toxins! We enjoyed it so much and was a great way to finish off our trip after hiking the mountains earlier. Even though it has been almost a year since my visit...it was still the most memorable trip I've been on in a while. When my guy and I talk about this trip it is still our favorite. Amazing amenities! Our 1 bedroom suite was amazing! Includes full kitchen, 2 queen pull out beds, king private bedroom with a soaker tub and balcony. CLEAN !!! I have not one complaint!!! Staff are extremely helpful to getting items to your room as well as giving you great advice on restaurants around the area! My family and I had an amazing time and we can't wait to come back! Snowboarding at loon mountain was awesome! Everything is so close, minutes away! Also we did a coupes massage downstairs at solstice spa, definitely recommend that! The outdoor heated pool n hot tub, along with ice skating and game room were great!!! Washer n dryer in the hallway too!! Just everything is awesome here!! Tried to book The Mountain Club at Loon but no vacancy so got RiverWalk. Didn't know this unit was individually owned, and this isn't a "hotel." "Studio" is really only a hotel size room, with a queen bed and sofa bed. Balcony has a nice view of the mountains, and amenities were nice, with the pool and well equipped workout room sparsely used. Restaurant was very good, very Covid compliant, requiring reservations and cleaning diligently. We didn't have maid service but since we stayed only 2 nights we didn't care. Towels and bedding were high quality, and unit was very clean. read more

This is my family's second year staying and we absolutely love this resort! From the gorgeous spacious room to the pool area this place is an absolute gem! The staff are friendly and helpful..you can bring your cooler down to the pool or game room, which is nice to offset the expense of eating n drinking out. We even cooked a spaghetti n meatball dinner in our room! We had a delightful experience in the Seven Birches winery which is located inside the resort! The food and cocktails at La Vista restaurant (located inside the resort as well) are top notch! Had a blast at riverwalk resort. We came here for a special event, so our suite was half price, and at this price point it was absolutely fantastic. Both check in and check out were effortless and smooth. Our one bedroom was spotless, the kitchen had all the appliances we could've needed (we should've brought more groceries). The couch was comfy and the king bed was a dream to sleep on. The lit/heated pool was a lot of fun, even out in the cold - just wish it was open a bit later at night! Though the resort itself doesn't offer breakfast/lunch, the suites do have kitchens/kitchenettes as mentioned, and it's right across the street from a strip of restaurants. Close to attractions like the Flume and the Basin. We found ourself wishing we could stay longer. Next time we can get a deal on rooms we'll come prepared with breakfast groceries and hiking shoes! read more

RiverWalk is a cozy New England getaway resort, waiting to offer the best of hot tubs, ice skating (during the winter), wine, video games, and spacious/comfortable rooms. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a room overlooking the pool, skating rink, and outdoor hot tub as well the mountains draped in fog - it was so picturesque. The resort has an in-house winery, I thought the wine was decent but nothing spectacular. The town of Lincoln boats several delicious eateries including Gypsy, Common Man, Pig's Ear BBQ, all within walking distance from the resort. We also ziplinned at the nearby Alpine Sports. The resort is a great location for couples, families, and those with small children. read more

In an area where you can spend top dollar to stay in a place that still has a sign outside touting that it's TVs are in color, Riverwalk gives you the quality of an urban hotel in the beautiful setting of the New Hampshire mountains. We have been there two summers now and our kids especially love the pool and Mr. Kevin's s'mores and movie nights. We also love the concierge who gave us great recommendations of things to do in the area, and leads a morning hike. When it rains there is a game room and board games that you can borrow from the front desk. The kitchens are great amenities if you want to eat some normal food on your vacation, and there are free washers and dryers on each floor. Between the swimming and hiking we went through more clothes than we packed, so this came in handy. The Gypsy Cafe across the street is good. The Pricechopper grocery store is nearby but a nightmare so I would try to get your food on the way if you want to cook. There is a Rite Aid nearby for small things. I don't know what it's like during the winter, but during the summer the other guests are mostly nice normal people, which is good if you are hanging by the pool. It is also very quiet. You can hear a little noise from the hallway (probably us, sorry) but not from the next rooms. Is it cheap? No. But after years of spending nearly as much on one New England dump after another, it is money well spent. We will be back to try the skating rink in the winter. read more

Beautiful gym and pool. Solstice north spa is great, and the La Vista/Toast restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict for breakfast! And the pancakes and French toast are great, too. Dinner was delicious with wine flight, pizza, and short rib (oo la la!). Yummy desserts, too! Fun game room for kids (and the young at heart). Beds and bathtubs are very comfortable- wish I could take the mattress home Beautiful suites are extremely well-maintained, and the kitchen in-unit amenity was awesome and well-stocked for real cooking. Love the views of the vineyard and mountains and the field in the back with places to grill and play. Enjoyed a beautiful walk along Riverwalk Trail as well. I had booked 2 rooms (1 for my father and 1 for myself) at the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain for a wedding. When I booked both rooms, I called the hotel directly and booked two rooms with a queen size bed under the wedding party reserved rooms. My father got a normal room with a queen bed and a nice balcony. When I got into my room, the first thing I noticed that there was no bed. Come to find out, the room had a murphy bed that pulled out of the wall. When I went to the front desk to complain that I did not have a regular bed, I was told that some rooms had a bed and some had a murphy bed style. i explained that I booked two rooms with a regular queen size bed. I was told that it was luck of the draw on the room type that I got and that I couldn't be moved (the hotel was sold out). To be fair, the room was clean and it was a nice room but I wanted a regular bed. After sleeping on the bed the first night, I woke up on the day of the wedding and couldn't feel my right leg. My right-side hip felt like I had a bone bruise from the bed. I couldn't even touch the hip without pain. Now I live in NH and I was only less than 2 hours from my house. I decide to stay at the hotel so I could visit family and enjoy the wedding without worrying about driving after the wedding. But after that first night, there was no way I could stay at the hotel for a second night. So, after the wedding had ended, we decided to just drive home because I could not sleep on the murphy bed a second night. When I booked the hotel, I was never told that some of the rooms have murphy beds. The hotel's website shows the room as a normal room with a queen size bed. I traveled for work for over 15 years and I have never had a worse night sleep. Finally, the hotel employees didn't care and they were rude to multiple people who were part of the wedding. One family member was complaining about an issue and the front desk representative told them that if they wanted help, that they needed to ask nicely or they would help them. What, there is a problem with our room and we are trying to tell you about it and we are told that we need to ask nicely to help get the issue resolved? I have never seen this type of customer service at a hotel. It was embarrassing and no guest should be treated that way. I would never stay at this hotel again and I would NOT recommend it to anyone. I should not have to pay over 200 dollars a night to sleep on a murphy bed that causes me pain when I wake up. No one should have to beg a hotel to have an issue resolved. Over half of the guests got murphy beds and everyone at the wedding was complaining about the rooms and the service. This is a big event in a family's life and it shouldn't be ruined because of the hotel. This hotel sells their rooms as condos and if you are not an actual owner, many of the hotels amenities are not available to the guests. None of this is on their website. I wouldn't be upset if we were told these things before we booked our rooms. There are multiple hotels in Lincoln, NH at Loon Mountain. We would have just booked at a different hotel. The hotel can set up their rooms any way they want, but we should be informed of this info at the time we booked the rooms. I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. read more

Just arrived home from a weekend trip here and couldn't be more pleased! The resort is pretty new and it shows- in the best ways. The rooms are up to date with design details that set it a part from any other place I've stayed. Two tone cabinets, stainless steal appliances, subway tile, modern furniture, it was so pretty! The jacuzzi was wonderful as well as the indoor/outdoor pool. We watched the skating show which was adorable and then sat by the outdoor fireplace- plenty of activities going on at this place! Dinner at the restaurant, La Vista, was delicious Italian. The winery in-house, which is a first, was so fun. We did the tour and sampled wines. I have nothing but great things to say about this place- they thought of everything and it shows! We will definitely be back! read more

I was excited to stay here after visiting the hotel restaurant a few times. Upon arrival, our room was ready later than requested which I'll let that slide due to the COVID sanitation precautions. However, upon entering our room, those 'precautions' seemed like an excuse. The cupboards had what appeared to be food stains and the sink in the bathroom had stray hairs around the faucet. The carpet looked a bit dirty and the glass slider to the balcony was filthy. The stone shower was very nice and the fridge was a good size but the room was so small. I get its a studio but it was tiny and the walls were so thin, you could hear the conversations next door. Luckily, we brought a white noise machine otherwise, I don't know how people sleep. Other than the room, the pool, jacuzzi and grounds are nice. The fire pits around the pool are a nice touch. I do love the restaurant (La Vista) but they were operating at half capacity so getting a reservation was not easy. I agree with the other reviews that the customer service is subpar. Our AC shut off in the middle of the night and we woke up hot. We were able to restart it however, wanted to make sure it didn't happen again, so we checked with the front desk. They said they'd send up someone to take a look and we went about our day. When we got back we checked with the front desk to see what the verdict was - they had no idea if the AC was looked at our not. Strange I would assume they would have better communication between departments ..instead we returned to our room to see a note that it just had to be reset and a request too keep it above 68 degrees. Umm no, I'll set it for whatever makes me comfortable, thanks. For a hotel charging prices for Lincoln (let's remind ourselves it's NH) I expected more. Perhaps I'm just too boujee and should have opted for the Omni. read more

I've been to many resorts and hotels all over the US and Europe. Never in my life have we stayed at a resort that, at face value, seems like a really nice resort, just to find out they don't care about you if your not an owner or looking to buy. We booked a one bedroom suite through Expedia and ended up paying extra for a balcony and a mountain view. When we arrived, they had us in two separate rooms, not at all what we needed or what we booked. When we mentioned the mistake, they quickly scrambled to find a room, what we got was by far the worst room in the hotel for all of our troubles. When we entered the room, our "mountain view" was that of a dumpster, and the back of the building next door. There was garbage and even birthday balloons(!) left in the room for our arrival, which made us question if the room was even cleaned. When we went back to try and change rooms, we were told because we booked through Expedia and not through them we couldn't change rooms because of "restrictions" set in place by Expedia. When we asked what that even meant and if that was the case then why were you able to change them 20 minutes ago when they got it wrong in the first place, we didn't get a straight answer. That tells me "we don't care about you because you obviously have no interest in becoming an owner if you book through a third party, and therefore we only care about your money." It didn't stop there. When we noticed there were lights on our porch we wanted to turn them on and enjoy the fresh air at least. We spent 30 minutes looking for a switch that didn't exist and when we called the front desk for help, they said a mechanic has to come and reset the timer. Only problem, they all went home for the night! We were baffled that a MECHANIC had to come to turn on the lights, i don't understand why there just couldn't be a switch. As we tried to go to bed, frustrated and exhausted from our already terrible experience, we find theres no blankets for the pull out couch. When we called the front desk for some, they said they'd be right up. 45 minutes go by, no blankets. We call again and finally after an hour of waiting, we got ONE blanket that was paper thin. Frustrated and disgusted with the service we just went to bed and hoped the next day would be better. The next day, after a long day of exploring the mountains, we come back to our room for us all to be locked out because, somehow all three of our keys deactivated (two were no where near phones/wallets). When i went downstairs to get them reactivated, i waited an empty front desk for 10 minutes just to get sass from the very unhelpful lady who reactivated our cards. After all the money we spent on this resort, we expected at least some resemblance of human decency and competence from the resort staff. What we got, was the worst hotel/resort experience in our lives by far. If your not an owner DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIRD PARTY WEBSITES or, better yet, save your money and avoid this place. I would stay literally ANYWHERE ELSE, including the hobo train, than spend another second in this "resort". Don't waste your time and money on these criminals, they don't care about you, only your wallet. read more

Everything we had, and our server Joe was excellent. So why the two stars? The customer service here was atrocious. From our check in, to leaving us outside freezing waiting for the fire pits to be turned on (per the hours they advertise) and our room not being very clean, were really awful in comparison to the great look of the resort. A hassle with only one elevator working, and rude front desk service agents ruined our stay. I asked the front desk for the manager's contact info and he purposely tried to steer me in the wrong direction with only giving me the front desk number. Many guests in the restaurant and lobby were complaining of dirty rooms as well. Thankfully the info book on our coffee table had the info, although not easy to find. I left a message for the manager and she did call me back. She apologized for the incidents I described and said she would follow up. She also acknowledged they have some operational problems they need to work out. She offered to provide us a nice room with a great view next time we came back. Next time?? What a great weekend! Began with "Liz" at check in. She was so helpful with our accommodations and truthfully the reason we chose to stay here December 2018. Personality is everything :) We stayed here for a weekend getaway and for the first time we decided it was too cold to ski so instead we chose to enjoy the hot tub and swim out pool as well as the onsite winery. I'm surprised by the number of stars people have given this resort. It is a nice place but the customer service was sub-par. We booked a stay here in a studio room with Murphy bed and full kitchen. We checked in and made our way to the room and started to unpack when I realized it didn't seem like it was the appropriate room. I double checked my reservation and realized we weren't given a room with a Murphy bed or a full kitchen. We wanted the Murphy bed because it was me, my mother and 2 kids and we wanted the extra space. I went to the front desk to inquire when she informed me that they had run out of those rooms and given us this one instead. This is problematic because it wasn't the room I paid for however, she then said she found one room that was available (which was the type I had reserved) so I asked to see it. They showed it to me and it was larger with a full kitchen, Murphy bed, a larger TV and a gas fireplace- all amenities that we didn't get but paid for. She said we could move or pay for an upgrade but at this point my almost 70 year old mother has unloaded everything and asking her to move was not an option. While we love Loon Mountain and the area, based on this experience I don't think we would stay here again. On the positive, the pool was great (the perfect temperature) and the wine tasting and chocolate pairing was really fun. Location is perfect for walking to a few local places and accessing Loon. Overall we were disappointed, particularly because my husband and I are looking to buy in the area and were considering this place but would worry they would treat renters like this which would impact our ability to have people return each year. read more

Please do yourself a favor, if you are considering visiting the White Mountains, STAY AT THE RIVERWALK RESORT! This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, honestly. We had a king room and it was like an apartment! Ask for a corner king, and you'll get a huge bedroom with walk in closet, huge living room with fireplace, full kitchen with all appliances, and dining area. The veranda (it cannot be called a balcony, it literally had a 6 person table on it with huge room to spare, ENORMOUS) is impressive and the views of the mountains are wonderful! Be sure to ask for a mountain view room so you don't get the parking lot. The restaurant in the hotel is DELCIOUS, we ate there several times, and there's a small winery on site for wine tastings. Huge, heated pool with hot tub, easy towel service, and incredible customer service all around. It's near a lot of attractions and is very kid friendly (I don't have kids but it's large enough that if you're vacationing without kids, it still works nicely). Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Really good place to hang out kids could stay in the pool for hours there is 2 pools and 2 hot tubs and there is a in room kitchen and a in room table for breakfast and lunch and dinner table there is a fridge and a oven in the rooms read more

We bought a Groupon for one night here. We arrived early for check in to look around the area. The resort is beautiful! Christine at the front desk was wonderful! Our king sized bed suite was amazing... from the tub in the bedroom, to the deck off the room. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and anything you need if you were staying for a few days and wanted to cook. Fireplace with large TV over it in living room. Outdoor year round pool and hot tub , along with an indoor hot tub too. Christine made our stay that much better and we can't wait to go back for another stay! Thank you! read more
