I'm providing feedback because I've had a great experience with your shop before, but this visit was very disappointing. When I arrived, the employee who initially helped me smelled strongly of alcohol. I don't know if he had been drinking, but the odor raised concerns about professionalism, and the overall interaction felt unprofessional. When I dropped off my vehicle, I asked if you needed my contact information and was told it wasn't necessary. I was told the work--an oil change and brake replacement--would take about 30 minutes. When I returned, the brakes hadn't been started because the shop didn't have the necessary parts. I also learned my engine oil was extremely low and contained visible metal shavings. While I understand you couldn't contact me, that was because I was told my phone number wasn't needed. I then waited over another hour for the work to be completed, meaning the original time estimate was significantly off. The lack of communication, missing parts, extended wait, and concerns about the employee made the experience frustrating. I also requested a discount due to the delays and issues, but that request was denied. Given my positive past experience, this visit was especially disappointing. A bit late review .. I had service on new tire installation last month due to cupping on front passenger side. They told me front struts are bad ( my car has almost 200k) and that could be a problem and they also mentioned same side of brake pad was worn out badly ( somehow worn drastically uneven) that could be bad rotor too. He was not pushy at all and Kristi estimated everything what I need to get done. I like this shop because they let me bring my own parts, I definitely want to use OEM and I can shop around to get cheaper. Since I installed all new tires , I wanted to fix cupping problem and planing to keep this vehicle ( Toyota Camry) for another 100k, I decided to change all the parts that they recommended. It was unexpected expenses and I was bit frustrated but I asked Kristi if she can give me a bit discount if I paid cash. She gave me free alignment after the work is done which I really appreciate it!! I had multiple shops who took advantage of me because I'm a woman but it made me feel so much better and easier to talk to her . And all the workers were very helpful and professional. I feel a responsibility to our community to inform people of the risks of going to this shop. My sincere review is different from others on Google for "Riverside Speedy Tires" due to its negligence to safety and  irresponsibility. I also chose this shop because of its highly rated reviews on Google, which are not reflective of my experience. This shop didn't bother to inspect if my car's tire stems were still safe to use, and installed a new set of tires on the old stems. This caused 2 of 4 new tires to be compromised after just a few days of low useage. One tire went completely flat, with no warning signs. If that sudden deflation happened while the car was in motion, it could have been very dangerous. Safety should be a high priority for every tire shop and related industry. Your actions or lack of action could affect many people. We, the consumers, count on your experience and expertise. Mistakes happen from time to time, but acknowledge them & work to minimize it; be a professional. This is not the approach of this highly rated shop. When an issue occurs, the shop denies responsibility and insists that it is someone else's (3rd party provider, customer) fault. I am not a tire expert, but I know enough to get by: changing car tire, checking tire pressure, and finding the right information for more specialized skills. My concern is more for other people who trust in highly rated shops to be responsible and highly professional. From my experience, Riverside speedy tires' staff installer, who worked on my car, is egregiously unprofessional, as well as the front counter staff. They reused all 4 old tires' stems on the new set of tires; because of this, 2 of 4 tires failed within a short time (few days). The 2nd stem on my front tire came loose which cause this tire to go totally flat; luckily,my car was parked at home when this occurred. Maybe I expected too much from them. I did not ask for their procedure of new tire installation, i.e. if they replace the stems for a new set of tires. But to skip this basic safety inspection and fail to advise that the tire stems needed to be replaced is not acceptable. The front counter staff management team refused to take accountability for their team member's error and improper practice. Upon hearing that I brought the car in after labor day weekend, she insisted the stems were good and last over a week. They shift the responsibility to other parties, instead of fixing their problems and improving. I am money conscious but not cheap. I don't sacrifice quality, longevity, or safety when looking for a good deal. This is my first time buying tires online, and I spent good amount of time on researching this new venture. As a result, I bought Yokohama instead of Michelin for this low book value car. Normally I get my tire service at Costco or American tire, easy and reliable. 2 stars, one 1 step above lowest. They got me out fast in 30 minutes quickly, replacing all my tire stems with new ones. ($50 extra). The insulting comment from the front office lady  "You are lucky that your (old) car doesn't need the stems with sensor, otherwise it will cost $25 per tire" was my bonus. This would be a totally different review if this shop 1) Sincerely helps customers solve problems. Be willing to find the reason why an issue occurred and work to address it. Customers are seeking advice and expertise from you. 2) Take responsibility on shop obligation. eg. If the original quote doesn't include a certain part, bring that up to customer attention.. 3) Willing to improve to give better service in the future. Willing to admit to staff mistakes and find a way to keep them from happening again. 4) Sincere to customers. 5) Go check Costco or American Tires and learn from them. I believe we need many good small businesses. I understand that mistakes happen. However, especially in your industry, the willingness to admit wrongdoing & improve are paramount. Your actions impact public safety. All considered, it's important that my 2 starts on Riverside Speedy Tires' so people are aware. read more

This placed saved the day! I was on the 91 frwy on a Friday in Holiday traffic and picked up a 4" bolt in my truck tire. Luckily I was able to get off freeway and landed right at Speedy tire. My spare was smaller and I was expecting to put chains on during a visit in mountains. They did not have my 35" tire size in stock, which wasn't a suprise. What was awesome was they agreed to put a plug/patch at my request. Even though they were very busy, they squeezed me in and got me on the way in 1 hour. I'm sure they could have charged me 2-3x the normal price for expedient/emergency service and I would have paid. They charged me regular price! All the employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the risk and likely a very short term fix. I would highly recommend this honest small business. I needed my tires balanced, and called for a price quote, and asked if I could bring my car in that day. Christy told me to go ahead and come in. Although they seemed busy, they got to work on my car within minutes of my arrival. Everyone there was very friendly and courteous, and the work was completed quickly and efficiently while I waited. Headed to Orange County airport for a flight and got low tire warning. So we pulled over in a safe spot in the 91 Express Lanes and waited for their flatbed to pick us up. We were apparently just on the Riverside county side of the county line so the driver could only take us to the East. Dropped us off on a side street at Pierce and Magnolia and pumped enough air in the tire to get us to Speedy Tires across the street. Pulled in to Speedys and explained our plight and they immediately took care of us. They patched the tire and had us on our way in about 10 minutes. The gal that does the paperwork even got my husband a Coke from 7/11 while we were waiting after he asked if they had a vending machine. We missed our original flight but were able to get on the next one less than two hours later. Thanks Speedy Tire! You are all awesome! read more

To begin with, service is solid and pretty good! What made me go 4-Stars was that one of the frontdesk workers did not know the price of getting an alignment job was for my vehicle and tried to over price me. Good thing I gave my phone number because I had came before a while back and it was less than what they initially gave me. Since I have receipts to back up that "price change" for the alignment job. It should be a set price and not an up-saled one PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER! They have a system to check and see whether you have been a customer or not. Overall, it was good! I came in with a pop tire with only 30 mins till closing they were willing to still help me find tires that will fit my 18x9.5 wheels (which are hard to come by within a span of 30mins) and sent family member to go get them from the warehouse for me which was kind of them also guided me through the finance process which took about 10 mins it was a quick and easy in and out process. read more
