I purchased 4 new tires (245/40R-18) from Tire Rack (which were delivered to my doorstep with free 2-day shipping) that I needed installed on my wheels (18x9). I shopped around my area on Yelp to see where I should go. I chose Lopez Tires. I couldn't get a quote from them through Yelp, but I did find their Instagram page, lopeztiresriverside, which had phone numbers to call or text. I texted to inquire and got a timely response. I ended up speaking to Frank who was very kind and professional and set me up with an appointment time which was just a hour later. Now, the shop is certainly not the nicest. There are old used tires everywhere, the driveway is gravel, there are no bays or lifts for vehicles, the shop is dirty and disorganized, there was only a raggedy, dirty bench for me to sit while tires were being changed and there were flies everywhere from old trash laying around. Gross. This is the reason I had to deduct a star. Now as far as getting the work done that I wanted done, it was great. In total, it was $95 for tire install, balancing, and disposal of old tires. Frank was friendly and honest. They only take cash or Zelle. A few other things I will note is that it's evident that Spanish is their first language here if you care about that (I don't). The Instagram page is not professional at all and based on the stories seems more like someone's personal account than a business account. But overall, they got the work done and I was satisfied. read more

I've visited this shop twice now for tire repairs. Apparently I love running over nails. My first experience was awesome. The reason I came back to Lopez Tires and the reason I'll always come back is because they're trustworthy and reliable. Frank Jr took the time to explain to me what he was doing to the tire and the difference between patch vs plug, what each component was and what it was for, etc. He's also very easy to talk to. He even had the time to patch up an old hole that was plugged. The price was very reasonable, he even gave me a discount. He knows that having loyal customers is way more important than cutting edges for a quick buck. I agree. Going here was the easiest choice, especially with the many tire shops in the area. Imagine making plans to drive to Palm Springs on a Saturday morning. You go put gas in your car and somehow you look down at one tire and see a huge bolt in it. It was big and definitely changed my plans. I'm new to Riverside, so all I had was Yelp to help me find someone to either fix the tire or tell me it should be replaced. Remember I'm from L.A. and know everywhere to go to fix it. Anywho, Yelp results showed Lopez tires. So, I drove over there from the gas station. When I pulled up they were eating breakfast so I had to wait, but I can always talk on the phone to someone so waiting was NOT an issue. Frank came up to my car and immediately took the tire off. He DID NOT pull the bolt out and plug it. He took the tire off the rim and patched it from the inside. I knew immediately this is where I'm coming for any tire repairs in the future because THAT is how one repairs a tire. Additionally, while he was repairing the tire, he found another place where it had been "plugged" and repaired that too. IDK how that happened. I might have lent someone my car and they ran over something and got it "fixed". Whatever the case, Frank offered to fix that too and not charge extra. Did I mention he did this for $15.00? Seriously, that is a steal because even in L.A. some places charge more. I gave him 20 cause he fixed the additional one, but I still think that was a steal. If you're a woman and you want someone you can trust, go see them. Ask for Frank! read more

Frank, went out of his way to drive 30min each way (1hr round trip for those that suck at match lol) to and from a warehouse to pick up the exact tires I wanted just because they didn't have them in stock, at no extra cost.
