    Cheeseburger and onion tanglers
    Nicky V.

[Insert huge sigh here]. I will start off by saying, I'm not sure how this place passes health inspections. The outside of the building looks nice, the inside could use a deep cleaning. Every piece of kitchen equipment I could see from the front counter was disgusting. I highlighted just one of the photos. The prep time for the burger was average. I did notice the establishment is frequented by groups of males on lunch breaks. My meal came out on a flimsy paper plate on a red tray. The tray was dirty and greasy, like it was already used by another customer and not cleaned. The table had seasonings and ketchup. The only clean item was the ketchup. The pepper shaker was disgusting. The Cajun Seasonings was clumpy and would not come out of the container. The burger patty was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. For the sake of the review, I tasted the burger and onion tanglers. The burger was ok, but barely warm. The onion tanglers were surprisingly good. The restaurant has a small town diner feel.

I've been hearing about this place for some time and I finally got to try it. I know some people complain about the older gentleman but I was pleasantly greated by a younger guy. I told him it was my first time there. He explained any questions that I had. I kept it simple and ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Overall everything was really good. I wish a patty had a little more seasoning but that's just personal preference. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes. I'll visit again. Next time I want to try the curly fries.

Hole-in-the-wall JOINT Not your fancy shmancy dine. If you're looking for a quick and CHEEEAP bite on the go. Riverside is for you. I got the pbj burger and hubs ordered the jalapeño burger. Pbj burger is literally its name. Peanut butter and jelly on bread with a beef patty. I definitely will not order again though.. not my cup of tea Honestly, it's just your average make your own burger at home kind of taste. Onion strings were the best part for me.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of trying Riverside Patty for the first time. I looked up burgers in Baton Rouge on Yelp a couple weeks back and added this to my list of places I haven't tried. I'm so so glad I found this place and finally tried it because it was so great!! The restaurant itself is so nostalgic and old-timey. There was one man who took our order, cooked our food, and brought it out to us and he was super kind. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a side of boudin balls. The burger was so delicious!! It's exactly what I want in a classic burger and it was just so simple and good. The boudin balls were great as well, they were crispy on the outside which I absolutely loved. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday evening and were the only two in the restaurant and I'm sure they do well but I feel as though they deserve some more business and recognition for such great food at such reasonably low prices! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend trying it!

I found this restaurant while heading to one of my favorite local breweries and decided to pop in for lunch to-go. And while this may have been the first visit, it definitely will not be the last! The exterior of the restaurant is very unassuming, but inside the menu is quite large. There were a ton of selections and it was very difficult to decide what to order. I was shocked that my Gator Bites and huge cheeseburger only totaled $10.22! Everything here is completely cooked to order so I had the privilege of seeing other customer's food delivered from the kitchen before mine was ready. Witnessing both the appearance and fantastic aromas of all their food was so appealing and definitely reaffirmed that I have to go back soon! Overall, if you are in the mood for great food at a fantastic price in a very casual environment, Riverside Patty is a really great choice.

Food was great. Fair priced and large portions. One party was like three McDonalds burgers. Would like to visit again.

The crawfish were flavorful, seasoned well, and priced right, which is honestly the perfect combination when you're sitting down ready to eat. They had that messy, not really spicy, addictive quality that keeps you reaching for "just one more" until the tray is empty. I also tried the buffalo wings. They weren't that great, if I'm being honest, but I was hungry so they got the job done. The crawfish are clearly the star of the show here anyway. The atmosphere felt relaxed and unpretentious, exactly the kind of place you want for seafood with friends, cold drinks, and a table full of shells piling up by the minute. If you're wondering whether I'll be back, I already have.

I guess I was expecting my shrimp would be covered in cajun sauce but it came plane with cajon seasoning and a dipping sauce on the side. We also tried frog legs which was tasty. It felt like home, people having pleasant conversations We were lucky it was Monday and the shrimp was the special of the day.

A True Hidden Gem - Lagniappe Steak & Seafood (Bluebonnet Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA)…read more I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lagniappe Steak & Seafood on Bluebonnet, and it is without question one of Baton Rouge's best-kept restaurant secrets. On my first visit this past Wednesday, I ordered the fried shrimp and catfish lunch special, and immediately knew this place was different. The seafood was perfectly seasoned--not overly salted or heavily breaded, just a delicate, crisp coating that highlighted the freshness and natural flavor. The servers were exceptionally professional--friendly and attentive without being overly familiar, which I truly appreciate. What took the experience to the next level was when Anas, the manager or owner, personally came out to check on my meal. She was tall, poised, and stunning--truly looked like she could walk a high-fashion runway in Paris! Her elegance and hospitality added a touch of class you just don't see often anymore. I was so impressed that I returned two days later--the day after Thanksgiving--to try the grilled pork chop I've been hearing people rave about. Let me tell you... WOW. It was phenomenal. Juicy, tender, perfectly grilled with picture-perfect char marks--honestly felt like eating a premium steak. I give it a 10/10 without hesitation. On that visit, Jennifer was my server and she was fantastic--attentive, warm, and highly professional. Now here's the part that blows people's minds: these incredible meals were part of the lunch special, priced similarly to what most folks spend at a fast-food restaurant for a two-piece combo with fries and a drink. Same price--completely different level of dining. And for those who don't know: I've traveled all over the world and I am the ultimate foodie--something my followers know well. I live for great cuisine, authentic flavor, and memorable dining experiences. So when I tell you this place is worth your time, believe me. --- When in Baton Rouge, go to Lagniappe Steak & Seafood. You will not be disappointed by the ambience, service, or the quality of the food. A genuine 5-star dining experience and without a doubt one of the finest hidden gems in the city.

The burger was delicious, but the fries were the real standout... absolutely exceptional! I also really like the layout and overall vibe of the restaurant. If I had one suggestion, it would be to dim the lights a bit more in the main dining area to make the atmosphere even better. Otherwise, it's a very inviting space. Looking forward to going back--especially once the weather warms up so I can enjoy the patio!
