    Cheeseburger and onion tanglers
    Nicky V.

[Insert huge sigh here]. I will start off by saying, I'm not sure how this place passes health inspections. The outside of the building looks nice, the inside could use a deep cleaning. Every piece of kitchen equipment I could see from the front counter was disgusting. I highlighted just one of the photos. The prep time for the burger was average. I did notice the establishment is frequented by groups of males on lunch breaks. My meal came out on a flimsy paper plate on a red tray. The tray was dirty and greasy, like it was already used by another customer and not cleaned. The table had seasonings and ketchup. The only clean item was the ketchup. The pepper shaker was disgusting. The Cajun Seasonings was clumpy and would not come out of the container. The burger patty was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. For the sake of the review, I tasted the burger and onion tanglers. The burger was ok, but barely warm. The onion tanglers were surprisingly good. The restaurant has a small town diner feel.

I've been hearing about this place for some time and I finally got to try it. I know some people complain about the older gentleman but I was pleasantly greated by a younger guy. I told him it was my first time there. He explained any questions that I had. I kept it simple and ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Overall everything was really good. I wish a patty had a little more seasoning but that's just personal preference. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes. I'll visit again. Next time I want to try the curly fries.

Hole-in-the-wall JOINT Not your fancy shmancy dine. If you're looking for a quick and CHEEEAP bite on the go. Riverside is for you. I got the pbj burger and hubs ordered the jalapeño burger. Pbj burger is literally its name. Peanut butter and jelly on bread with a beef patty. I definitely will not order again though.. not my cup of tea Honestly, it's just your average make your own burger at home kind of taste. Onion strings were the best part for me.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of trying Riverside Patty for the first time. I looked up burgers in Baton Rouge on Yelp a couple weeks back and added this to my list of places I haven't tried. I'm so so glad I found this place and finally tried it because it was so great!! The restaurant itself is so nostalgic and old-timey. There was one man who took our order, cooked our food, and brought it out to us and he was super kind. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a side of boudin balls. The burger was so delicious!! It's exactly what I want in a classic burger and it was just so simple and good. The boudin balls were great as well, they were crispy on the outside which I absolutely loved. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday evening and were the only two in the restaurant and I'm sure they do well but I feel as though they deserve some more business and recognition for such great food at such reasonably low prices! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend trying it!

I found this restaurant while heading to one of my favorite local breweries and decided to pop in for lunch to-go. And while this may have been the first visit, it definitely will not be the last! The exterior of the restaurant is very unassuming, but inside the menu is quite large. There were a ton of selections and it was very difficult to decide what to order. I was shocked that my Gator Bites and huge cheeseburger only totaled $10.22! Everything here is completely cooked to order so I had the privilege of seeing other customer's food delivered from the kitchen before mine was ready. Witnessing both the appearance and fantastic aromas of all their food was so appealing and definitely reaffirmed that I have to go back soon! Overall, if you are in the mood for great food at a fantastic price in a very casual environment, Riverside Patty is a really great choice.

Food was great. Fair priced and large portions. One party was like three McDonalds burgers. Would like to visit again.

The crawfish were flavorful, seasoned well, and priced right, which is honestly the perfect combination when you're sitting down ready to eat. They had that messy, not really spicy, addictive quality that keeps you reaching for "just one more" until the tray is empty. I also tried the buffalo wings. They weren't that great, if I'm being honest, but I was hungry so they got the job done. The crawfish are clearly the star of the show here anyway. The atmosphere felt relaxed and unpretentious, exactly the kind of place you want for seafood with friends, cold drinks, and a table full of shells piling up by the minute. If you're wondering whether I'll be back, I already have.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stellar customer service that set the tone for our entire experience. Our waiter, Justice, was truly delightful. It was an absolute pleasure being served by him. He was incredibly friendly, patient and attentive, especially with our party of 14, which included children. His attention to detail and welcoming demeanor stood out, and his positive energy elevated our experience. Justice went above and beyond, and his efforts did not go unnoticed! The entire staff working on Saturday, April 4 was top notch. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful and professional. From the food and drinks to the atmosphere and overall service, everything exceeded our expectations. I can say this was a 5 Star Brunch experience. We specifically found this restaurant because we searched online for gluten free restaurants, so we were excited to see that you offered a separate gluten free menu. However, there are some serious issues with the accuracy of that menu that need to be addressed. When we asked about the pork rinds brought to the table, we were told they are fried in the same oil as everything else. That in itself is your choice as a restaurant, and we understand cross contamination can happen. We were also told the french fries are cooked in beef tallow in a separate fryer, but they are not considered gluten free, which is why they are not listed on the gluten free menu. Again, that is completely understandable. What is not acceptable is having items listed on the gluten free menu that are not actually gluten free due to cross contamination. The pork rinds and cheddar filled tater tots were both listed on the gluten free menu despite being fried in shared oil with gluten containing foods. For someone with celiac disease, this is not a small mistake or a dietary preference issue. My husband has celiac disease, and if he had eaten the pork rinds based on trusting the gluten free menu, he could have become extremely ill and potentially needed hospital care. Our daughter has gluten sensitivity, and she would have been sick for the rest of the night as well. Many people still treat gluten free as if it is just a fad diet, but for people with celiac disease, it is a serious autoimmune condition that causes real physical harm. To the OWNER: please educate your staff and kitchen on what gluten free truly means, and update the menu so customers can trust it. People with celiac disease should not have to risk getting sick because menu items are mislabeled.
