They do a nice job ... just wish the pedicure and manicure didn't feel rushed and equal service was given to each customer.

I'm gonna have to say, do not go. First off it doesn't have easy parking. I was a walk-in in which they stated they were able to fit me in for a pedicure only. They say me in a chair where I felt like my feet were soaking for a very long time. I had chosen a black color. Once I was attended to my experience with her was fine, other than the fact that apparently the color I chosen was pretty much empty and they went and grabbed what it seemed to me a downgraded brand and version of the color. The other downside to this place that has NEVER happened to me before. Within the month after getting my pedicure I started noticing little bumps on on my toe which got infected and I had to go to the doctors to get antibiotics for. It was a type of rash/eczema that only leads to having have my feet in a not properly clean tub or equipment. read more

I love love love this place. I moved to this area and went to 3 different places looking for a good place and finally found this one!! I've had about 5 different girls do my nails and they're all AMAZING and always PERFECT. I always ask for Helen or Kim, just because I love them the most. I work in a restaurant and this is the only place where my gel manicure will last me 2 weeks just because I work with my hands so much. Even if I were to move I'd keep coming back here! read more

I just tried this placed. I had a gel manicure (french) and a normal pedicure. The nail salon was nice and clean. I liked that they gave me a few minutes foot massage when they put the cream on. Loved that you could see all the tools they used had been sterilized which is super important! Both ladies took their time to do my nails and they did a very nice job. I gave this place 3 starts because of how great they used to be .. Once they switched owners, I was very unhappy there. The gel manicure is supposed to last 2 weeks. Mine lasted 4 days and 4 of my nails chipped. I made an appointment and the new manager - she had short hair and glasses told me they would not redo both hands but only the nails that were chipped - she looked at my nails and decided only two could be redone- meanwhile , there were 4! I told the woman that she needed to do all 4 because they were all chipped, she kept saying no it eventually agreed. I used to love it there but I was treated very bad. Went for a gel manicure and it was nice and I was generally happy with my nails until 2 hours later one just started peeling! I went back the next day and the nail was fixed but that same day the rest of the nail all started peeling. Will not be returning for another manicure as in under a week all of the polish is off and didn't even need anything to remove the gel. read more

My very first experience at this place wasn't really satisfying and it was about 3 months ago. Last week I was in desperate need of getting my nails done and I said let me try this place one more time. Even though, I had to wait like 45 mins because they were really busy, I was very happy with my manicure. They all look so professional and most of their clients are old customers who have been going there for years. So looks like my first experience was only a bad coincidence because second time when I went there the lady who did my nails before wasn't there. I went two weeks ago to get a mani and pedi. I chose this place after doing some research and found that they used plastic shields. The person doing my nails wore a face mask, face shield and there was another plastic barrier. I felt completely safe getting my nails done there. I've always been happy with my mani/pedi at Riverside Nails. The salon is clean, up to date and the massage chairs work well. Cuticles are always cleaned up nicely and nails are shaped well. The only downside is the nail polish selection. Not too many options and some of the polish are a bit old so they bubble up. i was really unhappy with my experience at riverside nails. my sister and i had 10 o'clock appointments, and we were seated quickly at the pedicure massage seats. my sister's appointment started right away, and about 15 minutes into waiting for mine, i noticed that there was scum floating in the massage water. i called out for some drainage, and nobody apologized for the disgustingness. about 10 minutes later, i asked if i would ever be able to start my appointment, as i had been waiting 25 minutes. finally, someone came over and began the long process of trimming my nails, massaging my legs, and applying lotion. i was getting very bored and impatient, and as of about 11 o'clock, not a drop of polish had been applied to my nails or toes. they finally got to painting my toes, then led me over to get my nails done. the woman started trimming and clipping, and trimming and clipping, and this lasted for a while and it was becoming uncomfortable. i told her that was plenty of trimming and clipping, but she shrugged and kept going. finally after an agonizingly long time, she decided that was enough and began to apply the gel manicure. i walked out of the salon 2.5 hours later, $55 poorer, and with a manicure and pedicure that i was not all that excited about. there were little pieces of the gel attached to some of my nails that i had to scrape off later, and within 24 hours my fingers and cuticles were completely shredded and i still have skin peeling away a week later. this was not relaxing or beautifying in any way. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Even though this place is convenient for me to get to I would rather find somewhere else. I am that type of girl who finds a place and goes back consistently. Based on the service I received I will not be returning. My first experience was ok. On my birthday I treated myself to a get manicure and spa pedi. It was a bit pricey even though the service was a regular treatment. My second experience was terrible now that I look back at it. It was my first time getting acrylics. I told the woman would did it. She completely took advantage of the situation. Looking back at it she skipped steps while doing my nails. I ended up taking them off after a few days due to pain. Instead of filing underneath my acrylic she left it to cut down the time, It was a pain to get off. I also go my eyebrows done by someone who did not know how to do them. Basically this place will take advantage of you if you don't speak up. They will not be seeing me again nor will I ever refer anyone to them. read more

I like this place, they do a $35 mani/pedi. I got a gel Mani ($25) and pedi ($27) happy w the quality of both and the ladies were very friendly! Wow! Stopped in here last night on my way home from work in desperate need of a gel manicure. Was greeted at the door by Holly, she was super sweet and a true perfectionist. She took her time (about 50 minutes) to remove my old gel manicure and make my nails look perfect again. I have found my new nail place! Price is $25 which I thought was more than fair for the service/quality I received. Looking forward to going back for a pedicure in the near future. There is no parking lot but there is plenty of street parking available. Appointments are not required but Holly suggested making one. read more

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon. Their gel manicures last beyond two weeks, pedicures are long and relaxing, and pretty much each lady is very nice and knows what she is doing! They are a bit pricey for pedicures, however the gel manicure is only $25 which is cheap compared to else where. I have gotten eyebrows and lip waxed a few times and they did a good job and is fairly priced. Sometimes they do get busy so you will have to wait regardless if you have an appointment or not. The only down side is they take a while. ( Sometimes An hour for gel manicure, an hour for pedicure.) Sometimes it is nice because I want to relax and be pampered sometimes it's annoying because I just want it get my nails done and get on with my day. But as far as this area that I have tried they are the BEST! I was sad to see all of the negative reviews because they are great. read more

I came in looking to get a gel pedicure which is exactly what I told them. It was my first time in here so I didn't really know how they did pedicures, as every place is different. The technician goes into the back room and comes back with these packets of scented foot scrubs (which I thought was super nice and just part of their standard pedicure). She puts the salt scrub in the water and then starts my pedicure. She informs me AFTER THE FACT that a "spa pedicure" is $57 and that's why she put the salt scrub into the water. I ended up telling her that I never said that I wanted a spa pedicure and just wanted the standard gel pedicure, which she then told me was $45. So in the end, I didn't even bother with gel and I paid $30 for a standard pedicure with regular polish. I get into the car to see that she didn't even paid my nails fully and the edges are completely unpainted. Probably won't be coming back, really really overpriced. read more

There is not a single nail technician in this salon who cannot execute a fabulous manicure or pedicure. French is always done to perfection and all colors last! If you call ahead for a time that day they say, yes! Sure! Then you wait 45 mins without anyone acknowledging you.
