Went in for both a manicure and pedicure. With the pedicure, while filing the nails, the skin on every single toe was scraped and now for days is red and cut and sore. During the manicure, a similar issue. Manicures and pedicures aren't supposed to be painful nor leaving your nails feeling LESS healthy. I did a dip pedicure and the dip is way too thick and there are several indents and divets in my nails. Also, they didn't shape the dip to my nail beds which further irritated the skin around my nails. The appointment for both lasted three hours and I will never ever go back there again. read more

I really wanted to like this place and was impressed when I first walked in...nice clean space, many stations for both manicures and pedicures, and the person who greeted me was very friendly. And parking was also super easy. HOWEVER, it was my second worst manicure EVER (first was when the manicurist made three fingers bleed). I asked for a basic manicure and the polish was smeared and flaking by the end of the day. I booked a gel mani/pedi (first time ever getting gel) before going on vacation. The pros: - extremely clean inside! - very friendly technicians (one of my nails had a bubble on it which she promptly fixed once brought to her attention) - competitive pricing for the area (it was about $80 for a gel mani + pedi) - prompt service (i was seen right at my appointment time) The cons: - they don't have a ton of colors in gel; they have a decent amount, but if you're looking for something really specific like sage green for example, they don't have a huge selection - no online booking, but they do answer calls to make appointments - my gel chipped after about 7 days Overall, I would definitely consider coming again if I were in the area, but I don't think I would consider it a go-to spot. read more

I have been to this place multiple times and unfortunately will not be able to go back.i have has a great experience here 90% of the time. I had a wonderful manicure and was then passed on to a seemingly 14 year old girl for my pedicure. I understand a teaching moment, but she did not even know how to hold the tools, she was looking for reassurance in every step and forgot to put water in the bucket for the first 15mins so my toes did not soak at all. She spent most of the time cleaning up the nail polish on the skin around my toes and put it on so thick that I was drying for 30+ minutes and it still was not fully dry. She cut one toe completely sideways and didn't fully cover my toes with top coat. read more

I won't be returning. This was my second time coming here and it will be my last. Made an appointment, had to wait 30 minutes for the appointment to officially begin. While I waited, they sat me down at a different table, put the aluminum foil and nail polish remover on my nails to remove my gel, I sat their for so long that my fingers started burning, it was so uncomfortable. Finally after being there an hour, the nail tech applied my gel color. I lost count on how many layers of clear gel she applied to my nails, it was so bizarre and added weird volume to my nails. $54 for a gel with pearly glitter poorly added to it? 54?! Theres a fuzz on my nail and dents and it looks bubbly on some fingers since she put so many layers of gel on. The woman ding my nails was constantly picking up the phone and interrupting our time to book appointments. Not relaxing at all. The girl sitting next to me getting her gel off was growing impatient as well and was clearly also upset by this level of disheveled unorganized service and poor time management . I come here a few times with my mom to do my nails, and they always do an excellent job. I would recommend Bella or Teresa. Teresa is excellent at caring for your nails, and her work is excellent, shes very nice and sweet and will start a conversation fast and give a comfortable feel. Kim was amazing and super attentive to perfection of her work. I've been to several nail salons for dip nails around the area and this is by far my favorite! It's smooth, not bubbly and super shiny on my natural nails. They use the drill to file it thinner so it's not super thick on the nails! She took her time and ended with a hand massage too. Base Price for dip nails: $44 before tip The space is huge and fairly new in the plaza! Lots of parking! Right next to Chuck E. Cheese. Inside is Covid friendly at half capacity, so there's no one sitting next to you. Everyone wears masks. Very bright and welcoming. Lots of pedi space in the back. So I came here with my fiancé and tbh there was all kinds of wrong. We both came in for a pedicure, and she came in for a manicure. She came in for a birthday mani and pedi. And first thing we start noticing the moment the pedi's start is that they start talking s*** in Vietnamese. (My fiancé is Vietnamese) about my fiancé! On her birthday!! Like wtf!?!?! Now given these two women had no idea that she was Vietnamese, but you couldn't even be smart about it and ask what ethnic group we belong to!?!?! So not only did the insults from them hurt my fiancé, but the stupidity was an added slap to the face. My fiancé decided to skip the mani cuz of how mad she was obviously. And when she was asked "why not?" My fiancé replied in Vietnamese!! And guesssss what they did.... they acted like they didn't even speak the language!!!! What!?!?! Like you gonna play that card?!?!? She was listening to your smack talk the entire time!! And then you gonna think you don't understand!?!?! Yo get the hell out of here. That's some s***. So obviously my furious woman asks for a manager and some lady, which I doubt was the manager at all doesn't even apologize to us. She just offers a 10% discount. 10%?!? Really? I could pay for it, ok? No problem. But you gonna only offer 10%?? It's like you not even trying!! No apology at least??? That's all we wanted!!! We refused the 10% discount. We just wanted an apology, and we couldn't even get that s***. Like wtf for real. this is the second time i've been to this nail salon and i would not recommend. first, i made an appointment and when i got there a few minutes early i had to wait about 15 minutes. i had picked out a dip color and the woman who did my nails didn't even look at the color and threw it back in the box. when she was ready to paint my nails she grabbed a totally wrong color and wasn't listening to me at first when i was telling her it was wrong. she told me to chose a new color (fine, no problem). My toes look fine and the color i wanted. Then, i waited about 20 minutes for someone to do the dip manicure. it was SO rushed and the shaping is absolutely horrible. she didn't clean up the skin around my nails or cut my cuticles. I asked for oval/round and they are just all different shapes. they are also all different lengths. i asked for the same color on my hands as my toes and i also have different colors. not worth $82. read more

I was in town for a business conference and needed to get my nails done. I had looked on yelp for some nail salons in my area and decided to go to Lux Nails and Spa. I was greeted promptly at arrival and though I didn't have an appointment. I let them know I needed a dip manicure and I was seated immediately and asked to pick out a color. The salon itself was clean and the staff was very friendly. I picked out my go to Cajun shrimp by OPI and the woman doing my nails was kind and gentle. She listened to my request for the shape of my nails and how thick I like the dip. Overall incredible experience! They are priced very well and I am very happy with my nails. The place is beautiful inside, quiet and very spacious. Also very clean! I made an appointment for a fill and I got Sara. I love the shape she did for my coffin nails, it's a perfect coffin! However! She cut me on 5 different nails. Right where the cuticle is on each nail and it hurt for 2-3 days later. Sore, tender and bleeding slightly. I WILL be going back to Lux however I'm unsure if I would give her another chance because I'm not sure If a perfect shape was worth the pain on half my nails. Here are a few pictures.
