I really like it here, it's clean and has good ventilation. I only get pedicures but my daughter also gets tips or fills done here. There's lots of stations so it's easy to get an appointment. read more

I think this place is pretty good. When it comes to shaping my nails I have never had an issue. I only get gel manicures and usually French manicures are my go to. Overall, they do solid work for me it's just the polish used, my French tips never last I notice it turns cream within hours and my clothes bleeds over into the polish. You may be thinking that's a me problem but I steo fly believe it's the polish that they use. I do recommend them but I'd get another color. Customer service: 7 read more

Lisa, Michael and Cindy always delivers when I come for a pedicure and manicure. The massage and sugar scrub are my favorite. My girlfriend took me here and I have been hooked ever since read more

I am not sure what happened to this business . Lisa and Michael usually give excellent service . Today however was a very poor experience . I went in with my daughter to each get a pedi and dip nails . Simple enough . Well the nail tech I had Huong , was quite aggressive with my pedicure and impatient then instead if my usual dip that I showed her a picture of ( v French or ombré again my usual ) she 1. Tries to convince me not to add acrylic nails ( I always do due to my nails curling and breaking 2 then tells me to do acrylic vs dip as it's better then proceeds to do a regular French . Needless to say I got neither a v French nor ombré and have a very small French tip and on top of that was charged $200 for our service . When I spoke to the owner who normally does my nails she basically said well you got acrylic . I ASKED for dip your tech told me to do acrylic and my nails are not at all what I usually get and Lisa did not seem to care . Simply said next time just say dip . Very poor service as I have been going here for years . Aggressive nail tech who doesn't listen and an owner who should have done more to make a long time customer happy . read more

Very disappointed in the owners of how they conduct there Business to them it's all about the volume not the clients.Owners please don't double triple book people and have them waiting for 45 min soaking there feet in water. Then while doing your nails get Interrupted while they answer their phone and greet their clients several times maybe if you invested in a receptionist it would help the process and not stressing the client out while getting their nails done and getting rudely interrupted over and over to answer the phone then scream out to there workers back and forth After a stressful week I was there to relax not be more stressed out it was a horrible experience Shame on you I hope you read this and try to resolve the disappointing experience and not have it happen to others Thank you read more

i have lived in Massachusetts for 3 years. I have yet to find a decent nail salon yet to satisfy me. After passing by this place, I decided to give them a try. A very nice, clean establishment. I just was not pleased at my service. In all honesty, this has been the worst full set I have ever had; from the shape, to the paint job, to my dry manicure I am truly upset. Have you ever just needed time for your nails to grow on you? I have been trying all day to "get used to them", but I just can't. Very disappointed with the look of my nails. read more

A nail salon that is open on Sunday? Really! A salon that is extremely clean and inviting? Yup! Female owner who does a terrific job doing French Dip nails? Yes!! Takes walk-ins just in case you forgot to make an appointment ahead of time? Sure! Beauty Nails hit all the check boxes. This is now my go-to place for Dip nails! read more

They overbook clients and it puts everyone behind. Had a 5:30 appointment and was not started on till 6pm. Like another review left here, it's called an appointment for a reason. If you don't have room to book anymore clients, do not waste people's time. read more

I posted a picture of my horrendous shellac manicure, but can't figure out how to connect it to a review. I had a shellac manicure done on a Friday night. The shellac did not harden, was applied unevenly, and looked terrible. My cuticles were left ragged. The shellac remained soft and pliant for two days and on the second day, it began to peel off. read more

Beauty Nails Design - Terrible shellac manicure. Ragged cuticles, still soft shellac (after 2 days). - Nail Salons Near Me - Melrose, Massachusetts

My dip cracked the next day. They fixed it, but then the rest of my nails cracked within a week.

Great spot for manicures & pedicures! They do a very thorough job and use great products, and even without gel the color lasts (and their gel lasts even longer). Definitely recommend. read more

I've been here twice and had really great experiences both times. I love their pedicures and the scrub they use to massage your feet and legs. It is very clean inside but the atmosphere and ambiance could use a little work. All in all, I would definitely come back! read more

First time going there was phenomenal. I made an appointment when leaving work and was impressed with the amount of colors. I went back 2 other times. Prices are reasonable than the other places I went to previously. read more

Cons: -The color selection is extremely limited -Extreme inconsistency when my nails are being cut, they don't match up to the other side. -Aside from the owner the rest of the tech's seem carless about being there -Depending on the technician, the color turns out to be bulky. -G-d forbid I give them my feedback or ask them to file down my nails or do a 2nd/3rd coat, it automatically turns to trash talk between the technicians - if they go to harsh and make my cuticals bleed some how it's my fault. If my nails turn out uneven, again it's my fault. Zero accountability as a business What recently put me over the edge was two things. 1) They are notorious at scheduling an appointment for a certain time, u show up and they are with a diff client now I get it ppl run late and it messes up ur appointment, but when they r half way through and tell you it'll be 5-10mins when I reality it's more like 25+ to go,that's annoying. Its called an appointment for a reason 2) went to get a fill with gel on top. Same service I paid $31 two weeks prior ended up costing me $50. Apparently in those two weeks they have raised their prices and neglected to mention it during the service. The tech kept cutting into 4 of my nails to the point where she replaced them with new acrylics without my ask, but I get it. But to have the audacity to charge me $16 for 4 nails as if she did me a favor was the last straw. When I told her that wasn't right and she should have at least mentioned it during the process, she got all silent, I repeated myself and she just reached for my card. BAD BUSINESS. #ByeFelicia Pros: - Neat read more

This is my go to nail place - Lisa and Michael are wonderful. They run a first class place and I've had only the best experiences. I've been coming here for about two years and I personally LOVE IT! Its amazing. It's very clean and open. There is plenty of room in the chairs to sit. Its a very positive energy. I do not get my nails done often but when I do I come here! The service is impeccable and my nail technicians are very meticulous and takes their time to fix up my nails and toenails. I just moved to the complex recently and was looking for a place to get my nails done. I walked over to Beauty Nails yesterday and they were able to take me right away for a gel mani / gel pedi. My pedicure was amazing. She did a great job and I felt wonderful after. The manicure, while being well executed, lacked in service. Massage was rushed, I left with dry skin still on my hands!, and when I asked to cut my nails down, he just filed them. Now, usually, that would drop this to a 3 star rating, but my nails turned out REALLY good. I'm going out of the country this week so hopefully they will hold up. If so, Beauty Nails is my new spot! read more

Hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to. There all kind and make it personable. The most important thing is there clean and sterilize there tools. Lisa is my favorite and everyone knows I'll wait for her. Also, I drive one hour to come here since I moved that should show how great they are. I have tried other places where I live and they were gross did horrible work I rather drive an hour knowing I'll be treated good and having my nails looking fabulous! read more

Clean, organized, typical prices, friendly staff. What more do you need? I will definitely be back. The other customers I saw while I was in there were mothers or older, who may not yelp. I have always come here for mani pedis and they're always fantastic. I wanted to leave a review because this was the first time I have had my nails done post-COVID, and this place was FANTASTIC. I felt so safe. They are not allowing walk ins, it is by appointment only in order to limit the number of people in the salon. They ask you to use sanitizer upon entering, and take your temperature. Every other station is closed to maintain social distancing, everyone wears masks and they have put up clear barriers between esthetician and client for added safety. Spa pedicure with hot stone add-on was as amazing as only. Highly recommend!! read more

Def the worse gel nail ive ever gotten! Looks like it was painted by a first grader. Bumpy looking and nail wasnt completely painted.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I was treated HORRIBLY by the one male staff member there who rushed me through what ended up being a completely botched shellac polish change. He rushed me from beginning to end, was ridiculously rough while scraping my old polish off, started applying the wrong color to my nails, rushed me to choose another, and I finally told him to forget the whole thing. As I got up to put my coat on, he said "$5.00" When I asked him what for he said, "I took your polish off." I was STUNNED. The only reason I went there in the first place is because it was opened on a Sunday. Yen, I will NEVER go anywhere else again!!!!! read more

So after driving by this shop for over a year I finally decided to give them a try and booked a mani/pedi. They are actually not at the address listed - they are on Main Street, however, they are right near Oak Grove Village on the Melrose/Malden line. The shop is huge and VERY clean which is a plus in my book. I will say though that the woman who did my nails, while very pleasant, should go back for a refresher class. She used the cuticle cutters to scrape my nails more than cut any cuticles - when she did decide to cut, cut she did....as in I have all of these little cuts now thanks to her job on my manicure. I was hoping this was going to be my local place to go but I won't go there again. read more

I have been going here for over 14 years, since they were in downtown Melrose. They are so friendly, and do a WONDERFUL job on my nails. I haven't lived in Melrose for about 10 years, but I still drive there every other week whether it's for my nails...or a pedicure. Worth the drive! read more

Beauty Nails Design - So many compliments on my gel manicure. Came in Dec 23rd and it has not chipped at all and it's been almost a month! - Nail Salons Near Me - Melrose, Massachusetts

Disappointing. I felt rushed, my gel manicure chipped in 4 days and the women there were openly complaining in Vietnamese and English about my not having cash and needing to tip them on my debit card. Additionally, one woman asked me to bring cash next time to tip. There will be no next time. You're better off going to a less expensive salon. read more
