First time on a bike and I was a BEGINNER, but both the instructors were skillful, fun, but also stern and gave me a lot of knowledge on how to ride. This dealership is horrible when it comes to their service center! DO NOT TAKE YOU BIKE HERE FOR REPAIRS! My husband's motorcycle was taken in last November (2024) for a repair and the bike was there for FOUR months-it was finished in March (2025).The cost of the repair, which was almost $6,000 had already been completely paid for.During this time period, we were promised various dates of when the bike would be finished and ready, and those dates would come and go, with NO communication from anyone. After the bike was finished and picked up, it had to be returned to the dealership approximately a week later after the bike stalled while my husband was out riding. The technician indicated that it was probably something minor that had just come loose.The bike was towed back to the dealership on Thursday, 3/27/25. After TWO weeks at the dealership, and having to constantly call and visit the dealership to find out the status, we were told that we needed to pay another $187 for a diagnostic exam to find out what the issue was although it had just been at their dealership for FOUR months for wiring repair.We paid the fee to be told that it was some DIFFERENT wiring in the handlebars that needed to be fixed.My husband also mentioned to the technician at this time that the lights on the tour pack and saddle bags no longer come on after their repairs and was told that there was additional part needed to fix this problem.Therefore, my husband ordered the part,however,he did not want to have the technicians at the dealership to install the last since we continued to have such a negative experience with them.After taking the motorcycle to another motorcycle repair shop to have the part installed to fix the problem with the lights, it was discovered that the wires to the lights on the tour packs and saddle bags were never hooked back up when the motorcycle was repaired.Therefore,the part was not needed.That technician also discovered that the old, burned wires that was the reason for the initial repair were still attached to the motorcycle. They were never removed by the Harley Dealership. I have communicated my frustration several times to their technicians and even the manager, however, their poor workmanship and lack of professionalism continues. read more

So I'm sitting here right now next to my brand new 2022 Road King Special and I couldn't be more excited! This was a big deal for me because I had been going back and forth on what my new ride would be. I originally had put a deposit down for the new Lowrider ST but my heart kept telling me to upgrade from my Road King to a Road King Special....well that and the pictures Russ kept sending me of all new Road Kings that I just couldn't pass up. So fast forward to today my hubby and I just so happened to stop in and lo and behold a brand new 2022 RK Special blacked out was parked in the front and it absolutely was calling my name and I knew it was meant to be. Bought our 2nd Harley. A 2022 Heritage Classic Black Out Edition in 2022. The bike sold with a 6,000 dollar mark up. My spouse wanted the bike since my sportster 1200 was a 1 seater. So we could ride. Anyways high APR and 2 years later. Th Heritage is a good bike, but the Pan American 1250s is my new crush. For adventures. Went to make a trade, but due to the markup and High APR of heritage. We are upside down. They offered to buy it out right 6,500 or trade in at 18,000.00. The Pan American 22,999.00 OH plus another markup of 6,000. Putting it at 28,999.00. After 4hrs of running credit and they come back for a down payment Needed.!! NOT discuss APR or monthly payments. Sadly this chipped my shoulder considering I traded my sportster (paid for) during the purchase of Heritage. Stupid move on my part. Should've kept it. Now i walked out saying no to down payment. Since they only seem interested in markup. Not treating repeat customers with a desire to have them keep returning. Offering the MSRP without markup. They made a ton of cash off the first sale. They also ran both our credits even though my spouse makes enough for the purchase. Oddly being lied to stating the banks needed more income. Right!! Really curious? How is markup even legal when it actually does nothing to actually make the bike more valuable? Instead it puts more money in the dealerships pocket. While leaving the customer upside down as the bike / car drives off the lot. Not to happy with Riverside Harley Davidson and there sales team. Except for Luis from Boston. I would leave a zero if I could. My sister called the day before with pre-approved financing and arranged for the purchase of a bike the following day. She made it clear that we would be driving 4 hours to get there and everything needed to be ready. She called again the next morning, on our way to the dealership, to verify that they had everything ready. We arrived at the dealership and nothing was prepared. The bike that she was coming to purchase didn't even start (dead battery). We wanted for over 2 hours to be told that no one was available to replace the battery and that we would just have to come back another day. This dealership doesn't care about their customers at all! Predatory dealership for sure. I came in to look at some bikes I seen online and THEY WERE ALL ABOUT $7k MORE THAN ONLINE. Also, the guy showing me around kept insisting I buy a new bike, even though I stated I didn't want one. He said they don't even inspect the used bikes at all and if it blows up when I leave then it is what it is. He showed me bikes with prices of $18k + and payments that were about $500. He didn't even let me test ride one before trying to rush to the finance process. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM HERE. It didn't feel great to be called an "indecisive little boy" when I called back to speak to Veronica about canceling the VIP package. Although we can agree that I shouldn't have purchased it at all... so good burn I guess. Jokes aside though, making a purchase of such magnitude for a new bike should come with a better experience, and less name-calling, especially when it felt like I let Harley take my lunch money. I also had to call a total of 5 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm before I was finally able to get ahold of her. I've never felt strung along before until this. I understand the dealership is actually busy, but I don't think I would have been as frustrated if I'd simply received a text message or a reply to the email I sent. I'm not trying to return a pair of shoes here, it's a $3000 maintenance package that can only be used at RHD. I was trying to get ahead of the process and instead I ended up feeling like an indecisive little boy. And I know it was inconvenient to cancel it, but only to me. Before that, I was stuck waiting for the sales team to finish their cupcakes and birthday celebrations for Chris. Happy Birthday Chris! But again, I felt like a nerd waiting for them to come back with another number for me to mull over for the 3rd time. A number I believe they had figured the entire time. At least offer me a slice of cake ffs! By the time I left, the dealership was closing up and I think we all just felt worn out. My manual had to be shipped to me, which Brad handled swiftly, and my bike needed a tank of gas -- which I had to pay for! Small things sure, but again, I had just spent a shit load of money so little details meant a lot. Lastly, I was told at the mention of maintenance that I would void my warranty if I worked on MY bike. What happened to Harley being a "Freedom" machine? What happened to feeling liberated and empowered on a badass, rumbling Harley? I guess that's what we get in California? Also, I found out during the test ride that new Harleys come with a governor?! What did they do to us? What even is this world?! I don't know that I can recommend the Riverside Harley Davidson to others, but I also don't think I have to. They seem to be doing just fine. But it felt like the big dealership stopped caring for the customer as soon as I said their prices were too high, and especially after I left with the bike. All in all, Bradley and Mary were awesome. Not only did Bradley get the bike of my choosing to the Riverside location, he also provided a genuinely pleasant experience and good conversation. Thanks a lot, Bradley! read more

I brought my 2021 Pan American to the shop for warranty work on the clutch. The bike has less than 10k miles on it. They said they wouldn't cover the parts since clutches aren't covered. They're a "wear and tear" part. I paid for the repair. The clutch plates and replacement parts took a month to arrive. I called several days a week for many weeks asking for updates. They assured me the bike was being worked on. I finally got it back a month and half later. I rode 200 miles with the Pan Am when I got it back before the clutch went again. I took it back to the same dealership since that's obviously not "wear and tear" under the warranty. They took the bike back in August 22nd and said they'd fix it. I had to send my keys in by mail on September 10th. I called every other day asking for updates. Ambyr, Raymond and the service staff were very difficult to reach. And the automated system doesn't let you leave messages for service. I was promised they'd reach out once the parts were sent. That was almost a month ago. They made no more updates. I left the country for a wedding and hoped they'd have the bike fixed, or at least the parts in, when I got back. I called yesterday and no one was available at the service desk. I was told they'd call back by an operator. They didnt. I finally got through to someone when I called again today. The parts still haven't been sent. Riverside has held my bike for essentially 4 months with minimal effort to keep me informed or ensure timely repairs. read more

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): Has a situation when I enlisted AAA to transport my Street Glide Special here for service because it was too early in the morning for me to be gearing up, checking tire pressure... yada,Yada. Experienced complication during transport process and upon arrival at Riverside found myself ever so grateful for the astuteness and professionalism of the technicians and their leadership for what effectively was a root cause analysis and assessment of the transport process failure. Friends, I just want to ride. We all make mistakes. All I'm saying is the proactive awareness and knowledge base of Veronica, Will, Jarod, Anthony, Richard in Service, Richard in Parts, the Notorious DMC, Kwasahan (I know I messed up the spelling, sorry), Mikey, Josh (both awesome!), Anthony, Jae, and so sorry if I can't remember to shout out a few more of you. I just wasn't able to take other than mental notes at the time. As I shared with some in person, the service wait time should be escalated as an opportunity for continuous improvement demanding immediate attention. Yet, it is also true that I was really needing some love and comfort after towing "Homey" in for routine services feeling like being at the dentist due a cleaning and having them accidentally sawing into your jawbone with no anesthesia! So what I'm dramatic, you get the point friend. It was messy. And don't forget to ask Veronica about that VIP product. Duration three years. Holy crap does this place suck! 1. I took my bike in for service, I was told it would be done over the weekend, and when I went to pick it up, I was told to bring it back. When I did bring it back it took 2 weeks to replace a rubber fuel hose, and it was done as I showed up to pick up my bike. 2. I bought some bags from them for $800 (similar ones were selling online for $200-350), They broke within 3 days. I went to take it in for warranty (at the same time my bike was being left for 2 weeks), and I called 3 times over the 2 weeks to make sure that they look at it so it can be warrantied, they didn't. When I went to pick up the bike the broken one was still there and they said parts didn't deal with it, take it to service. Service said they don't deal with it, take it to parts. So I took the bags off the bike, dropped them off for a return, they refused saying it's not their policy to take back product, but they will warranty it. This was in April. It's now August, and they STILL have done nothing. I've call HD corporate customer service 3x now, and nobody can figure out what's happening with it. I've been told it's been ordered 6x now, 3 from parts tech, 2 from manager, 1 from corporate customer service rep, but still no proof of that happening. I want to return this bike because HD seems to not know what the F they're doing and can't do something as simple as order a stupid replacement part! Quality -0 Responsiveness -0 Responsibility -0 Care about their customers -0 Competent -0 I would give negative stars if I could, but that's not an option here. I won't be recommending HD to any friends or family, and I won't be purchasing my next bike from HD, I won't be buying any other parts or accessories from them, and I won't be taking my bike here for service. read more
