This establishment is located downtown with ease of parking. We parked right next to the restaurant. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table, but the bar was open with a full service bar, so I'd recommend getting reservations if you're going on the weekend. The restaurant is very nice on the inside and there's plenty of seating. We had a romantic curved booth facing the other tables that were centered in the middle of the restaurant. The food was surprisingly tasty, but the sides were so good that I would have been satisfied just eating the sides--they were extremely delicious. The waitstaff did a great job and was attentive. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend.

We came here on Yelp advice. The place has nice decor. They have a large fish tank with a turtle I liked. I had the southern salad it was decent if you like fried chicken tenders on your salad. My husband had the pork chop and he really liked it. There was a large birthday party in there and the folks were loud with kids running around so it was a little loud and unsettling. Our server Jonathan was very good. My favorite thing was the shrimp prepared like a jalapeño popper.

    Redfish Alexander. Very flavorful.

Downtown Beaumont/Museum District. Very walkable. Has plenty of parking across from the venue. The building is very well kept. The maître D.opens the door for you to enter. We were seating promptly but we did arrive around 4:30pm on a Thursday. We started off with the bang, bang shrimp. Phenomenal! They serve dinner rolls with butter, which were hot soft and very good. Sidenote, I could've stuffed the coleslaw and the bang bang chicken in it and had a mini slider. Would've been awesome. There were three of, we all had something different (see pictures) everything was cooked order. Everyone agreed we would be back. The dining room was well kept the ambience was perfect. The fish tank with the turtle in. It was so cool to watch while you ate and talked. It never got really crowded but again we were on a Thursday. You could go in any attire so don't feel like you have to be dressed up. Although this is a great date night. People came in scrubs business attire casual. Our waitress, I believe her name was Jacey. Very informative, had great suggestions. Until we eat again.......

We came from Austin to town to visit family for 4th of July and stumbled across this place. Was not expecting to find something that felt so nice and elevated in the area - caught us off guard. Was such a nice place.

When you step into Riverside Grille, you're instantly embraced by an ambiance of pure elegance. From the beautifully appointed setting to the attentive service, everything about this place speaks five-star vibes--without the five-star price tag. I enjoyed a late lunch here today with a friend, and each bite seemed to outdo the last. It was her first visit, and she's already planning a return with her husband. The experience left that much of an impression. We started with a fan favorite--the Bang Bang Shrimp. This dish features tempura coconut shrimp glazed with Thai chili sauce, served atop a crisp and creamy Asian slaw. The contrast of textures and the harmony of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors created a perfect beginning to our meal. For her entrée, my friend chose the Redfish Ponchartrain, and the presentation alone was stunning. The pan-seared fresh redfish was topped with sautéed shrimp, crab meat, and mushrooms in a rich brown butter wine sauce, served over seasoned rice. She added a side of asparagus that was as delicious as it was beautiful. I ordered the Greek Salad with Grilled Salmon, and it absolutely delivered. The salad was fresh and vibrant, packed with crisp greens, cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, olives, and feta, all brought together with a house-made Greek dressing that was absolutely delightful. The salmon was grilled to perfection--with a beautifully crispy exterior and moist, tender interior that elevated the entire dish. If you're looking for an upscale dining experience without the upscale prices, Riverside Grille should be at the top of your list. This restaurant is Best Bites approved. Have you been? Deviled eggs topped with brisket and alfredo spinach dip and the River Runner cocktail - DELISH!!

April 18, 2024 @ 830pm Went to botanical garden in Orange and wanted to eat here for dinner. Nice looking place inside. Very nice staff. We sat at the bar. We had a cocktail...mine was an espresso martini ---really good. My niece had the river runner. Everything was great. The bartender dude was very nice. We shared the deviled eggs [4] with brisket on top and the alfredo spinach dip... both really good. Being in DT Beaumont... in the Crockett Street area... can be a hit or miss... mostly misses in the last few decades. So, i honestly hope you last Riverside because you've got what it takes! Truly. Carry on! #eatlocal ##supportlocal

Ambiance is nice but can be casual. We sat in a half circle booth which was comfortable and appreciated the high back. Service was prompt. Brought out fresh rolls pre meal and checked on drink requestsFluffy and light yeast rolls. The espresso martini was as advertised, the old fashioned was ok. The fried seafood platter and meatloaf was the order. Fish fried to perfection and the H commented on liking the baked beans (side)...it tastes like had BBQ sauce in it, slight but could taste in the background. The meatloaf was very tender and topped with a chunky tomato onion (creole like vibe) sauce. Nice chunks of veg. The side of mushroom was enjoyed. Food portions just right. Again , attentive and polite service without being intrusive (good job Kayden). Kitchen was represented by one of the 'chefs' coming out to check on the meal (gave name only as Cooky'). Saw the deviled eggs go by, looked good, filled high, looked to be 4 halves). Chocolate fudge cake, vanilla milk shake dessert: the fudge cake had a decent flavor but was dry and the milkshake a whipped cream monstrosity...not a milkshake. The Irish coffee was passable- had to add a bit of sugar though.

The food was acceptable but the four of us decided it was a one and done. Not a repeatable trip for the money spent.

If I were playing Truth or Dare, I would dare you to try one of the newest and most popular soul…read morefood restaurants in downtown Beaumont. I'm talking about the one that is gaining a lot of attention, Truth Lounge and Bistro, located at 672 Orleans St. The name of this restaurant does not lie. Their food is GREAT and that's the TRUTH! Over the top flavor in every savory bite. Luscious and delectable, you will not disagree. This place SLAPS!! Everything from the fried fish, chicken, steaks, burgers, oxtails, and I must also add the healthy delicious salads... are full of that soul food southern flavor that will grab you on the first bite (menu pic included). They load your plate with food that is enough for two meals or share it with someone else. This is Real Soul Food Here!! The restaurant is rather small, with about ten tables and four chairs at each. There is a full-service bar and flat-screen televisions on the wall. Where they lack in size they make up with flavor. There were three of us in our party and we dined in. The atmosphere was inviting, friendly, and even a bit cozy. Beverly was our waitress and she was attentive to every detail and request. It was cornbread bowl day, and if you don't know, you will when I finish. It is a ring of sweet honey cornbread with a protein of your choice and two or three sides cuddled right in the middle. The proteins include lamb chops, roast, chicken, or fish. The sides include yams, collard greens, mac & cheese, pinto beans, green beans, or baked beans. My two lunch friends ordered the cornbread bowls. One was the cornbread bowl with fried chicken (OMG), mac & cheese, and green beans. My other friend ordered a vegetarian bowl with cabbage, yams, and mac & cheese. I ordered a salad with salmon bites, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, and a side of ranch. It was beautiful to look at and even better to eat. Freshness and flavor throughout this beautiful and savory salad. I would order it again. We had an amazing and fun time, our plates were filled to capacity. You better bring your appetite when you go to TRUTH because you will need it to finish all the food they pile on your plate. You definitely get your money's worth. Please give Truth a try and you can Thank Me Later! Tell them you saw it on Best Bites. What have you enjoyed at Truth Lounge & Bistro? This is a recommended Best Bites. #Best Bites #WeSupportLocals

Visiting family in Lumberton, they decided to take us to the Tree. The atmosphere was quite nice!…read moreThe decor was 'upper class -farmhouse style. The staff was all very nice and attentive! The food did take a minute to get to the table.... But we were one of the first tables, actually THE first to be seated that evening. 3 out of the 4 people at our table said their food was horrible. One had chicken fried steak and complained that it was 'all breading' and couldn't taste the steak. One had a Philly cheesesteak type sandwich and complained that the steak was cubed as opposed to thin sliced like a cheese-steak should be. Also said it tasted nothing like it should've. The third person ordered a seafood dish that wasn't thoroughly cooked, as well as a side dish of a vegetable (can't remember which one) that tasted as though it had been soaked in pure vinegar. My plate was fine. But, I just had a plain ol' hamburger. The restaurant didn't even have the manager come over to discuss the issues at our table, which I thought was odd. Due to the multiple issues with the meals at just our table -- I doubt my family will return.
