My husband had the NY steak and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and told us how all the ingredients were locally sourced, which is very good to hear because we like to support local businesses. Lastly, the building is quite beautiful with the exposed brick interior walls. I'm not familiar with the local history so I'm curious as to what this building was originally? We will definitely come back and also check out the market next time.

The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.

And the weird Diet Coke and it could've just been us but we kinda felt like the staff was annoyed they had to help us, again it could've just been they got slammed in the AM and were recovering BUT I actually heard 2 other guests talking about the same thing. Either way I hope the lady had a better day. And I would recommend the food here!

It was our first time playing Riverside and I think it is fairly priced and well-maintained. It was about a 70 mile drive for each of us but we'll do it again. We were paired with another twosome and they were fun to play with. It was a Saturday and I think the course was close to being full yet it didn't feel crowded. No long waits on the group in front of us. It was worth the drive and I'll play it again. The only downside was the golf carts. Our first cart (#8) had issues starting promptly and we exchanged it after about three holes. We loaded our things into #57 and started out again. It was initially slow to start also and we attributed that to perhaps the engine being cold and thought it would get. Unfortunately, it did not. After each stop, we needed to depress the accelerator for about 5+ seconds before the starter would engage. Once started, it ran fine but the delay leaving each tee-box, each subsequent shot and each green was definitely annoying. Here's hoping the carts were a fluke and we'll be back. read more

What a great venue to spend a morning, afternoon, or all day at. As someone who is trying to pick up the game of golf again at the age of 64, I find this course to be a great place to re-hone my golf skills. Beautiful layout, no fairways that go from here to eternity, but fun par 4's, nicely lengthen par 5's and challenging par 3's. Not a bunch of hills to climb, expertly manicured fairways, quick but fun greens. The entire course is well cared for, relaxing scenery, great staff and very competitive fees. Worth the drive for an easy, non-rushed, fun experience. I will definitely be a repeat, and happy, duffer. Thank you Riverside! read more

This is our second time to stay here in our RV. The RV park is along the 10th fairway. Last year we gave it a 5 this year a 4. We played the course twice while there for 2 days. The course is beautiful and challenging. The RV park this year, however, was disappointing. It seemed almost all spots were permanent residents and not all kept up with. Pros - Great course, easy to get a tee time, nice clubhouse to drink a beer and watch people come in on 18, easy to get on and off freeway with RV to get to there, full RV hookups. Cons - RV park area seemed nearly all permanent residents and not as clean as before, nothing else nearby. read more

"I've been playing on the ladies' league at Riverside Golf Course every Tuesday, and I can't recommend it enough! The course is fun yet challenging, perfect for all skill levels. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is always so welcoming and helpful, which makes every visit a pleasure. The food and drinks are excellent, and it's a treat to enjoy them on either the upstairs or ground-floor outdoor patios with a view. I'm especially excited for more couples' tournaments--they're a blast! The course was in great condition in spite of the rain that we have experienced over the last few days. The greens were spectacular! Didn't shoot my best score but, I birdied 18 and you can't find a better way to finish than that. Went upstairs afterwards and had the Riverside burger with the sweet potato fries. It was also spectacular. Friday and Saturday are prime rib nights so, I picked up the 10 ounce option and took it home to my honey. She loved it! The service was very friendly and great. Chloe is the bomb! This is now one of my "go to" places for golf and food. Highly recommend it. read more

As I write this brief review, I'm reminded of two outstanding points of interest. One, the place is nice, and the course, although par fives are limited, has great flow and many ball eating monsters to look out for. Two, as I was so elequantly reminded by JJD, in a review below mine, the staff has been simplified, to the lowest denominator. I called for a tee time, one week in advance, and received a price quote for my party of two. When I arrived and paid, the price was double what I was quoted. I was not pleased. I typically don't write reviews. As a matter of fact, this is my first, but I've been a couple of times, and I am always so impressed that I felt obligated to finally leave a review. The Lemon Piccata chicken that my wife ordered, and the Whiskey burger that I ordered were legit and the prices were on point. The atmosphere and staff were friendly and pleasant. Riverside Golf Club was an amazing venue to have a wedding!! I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for our wedding day. Jena, the Event Coordinator, was super helpful and accommodating! Yesterday was what my Grandfather would describe as a ".50 cent-er." Clear sky's; not too hot; not too cold. I tee'd off at about 11:30. The course was fabulous! BUT, better than that, even as a single, the course was wide open...no one in front of me, no one behind me! River views, Mt. Saint Helens views, gorgeous water hazards, tough greens. I always enjoy visiting Riverside! The food is always great! Service is always prompt and friendly! My favorite time to visit Riverside is during the summer when you can get your food and drinks outside overlooking part of the golf course. I would recommend Riverside to anyone! If you are traveling through the area, please pass by Applebees and head straight for Riverside! It's not much farther to drive, and is way better than the local main stream chain restaurants! read more

Riverside Golf Club is a gem found in Chehalis Washington. I have been able to play there on many occasions and I am never disappointed. Good, challenging course that makes you play multiple clubs in your bag and will test your skills. Course is in great shape and greens are pretty fast, but nice. The restaurant has excellent food and the rooftop bar is a great place to eat, drink, relax, and watch players coming in on the 18th hole. Staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Played with good friend and we were astonished at the quality of the greens...truly tournament quality...flawless...turf was totally consistent and the ball ran true. And...it being winter you'd expect some "give." Nope, perfect. Between the wind and the snow storm a good number of trees bit the .... but course is in great shape. The trees that are down actually made the views of the valley pretty great..........all farmland....sweet. We'll be coming back. read more

My wife and I drove down to play golf The course is in great shape and we enjoyed our rounds. The only issue we had was almost being hit twice on the 18th fairway by balls from the driving range. A warning from the person would have been nice. I would suggest posting signs to remind people to yell four or something. A person being hit by an errant range ball could be seriously hurt. I really enjoy playing this course and it's worth the drive from Lynnwood. read more

From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends. We arrived early and allowed to tee off early. First round there and we found the course in great shape, especially the greens which were fast and true. We played 18 in a little over 3 hours even though we took more than our share of strokes. I went down to play in the Lewis County Amateur Golf Classic ! Played both Friday and Saturday no issues ! After our first round the event was sadly shut down due to Covid 19 concerns. We're staying in the RV park at the golf course and play golf 5x a week while here. Golf course is in fantastic shape and the greens are the best and fastest we've ever played. Driving range, chipping and putting area on site. Food in the restaurant is outstanding, and the drinks are cold. The beer I got on the turn the other day nearly gave me brain freeze! read more

Riverside Golf and RV Resort is a phenomenal facility. The staff is very personable, the food is delicious and the golf course is challenging and in great shape despite being flooded over a few months ago.
