I love this little dive-y joint. Nice people are running the place. They are attentive without being overbearing, they are efficient and they are friendly. All good! The food is really solid bar-fare. The burger was juicy, and delicious and the fries are killer. I'll be back. Lots More on the menu to try.

    a burger and onion rings

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Their fries are THE BEST. Onion rings are great too! Service was one of a kind and so very genuine. My guy and I are not into the bar scene but we love the food and the atmosphere isn't the typical rowdy and obnoxious college bars you usually find. We will definitely be returning here soon!

Loved the friendly service. I loved the good lunch restaurant and they brought over their recipes to the limit so I was thrilled! My fav is their house salad dressing the poppyseed and the gobbler sandwich which is turkey with cream cheese, lettuce and cranberry sauce. It's refreshing. My hubby really enjoyed his cheese burger with fries that were way too delicious! Not the nicest atmosphere but totally what you would expect for a bar setting.

    Best Coleslaw EVER!
    bliss s.

The Good: Coleslaw is the BEST we've ever tasted! Patty melt Smokey Road sauce they have at the table Side salad Karoke on fri/sat 9pm-1am The Bad: Nothing to report The SoSo: Fish filets - tasted like store bought fish sticks. Kids would probably like them though. Fries - kinda soggy Service - not great, not terrible

Shenanigans! Friendly staff, good food. Better drinks!!!

The bartender was friendly and attentive. We split the Starman sandwich which resembles an Italian grinder, very good. The hand cut fries and fry sauce were delicious. Very reasonably priced drinks.

We missed Breakfast by 2 minutes. Heartbreak…read more Obviously that's on us :-) Wasn't too busy when we got it, a few families. We didn't get greeted so we just sat ourselves. It' was our first visit so we didn't know if that was ok. We waited a few minutes for someone to come over, which was totally fine. I think they were either in shift change or just really short staffed?!? Unsure. We got a water and a Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was horrible. No taste, literally looked like brown water. No carbonation, no coke flavor. We did tell them so they could check there machine. She did check and brought be another one with less ice in it to help with the flavor?! Said the machine was fine. Second one tasted just as nothing like, but it's not a big deal, I didn't want to make it a bigger deal than it was. The gal did come back and ask if it was better and said I wasn't the first person to bring this up. We ordered the Mary's chicken sandwich and the Italian sandwich. SO GOOD! The fries were also very good. 8/10 overall. The chicken sandy could've used pickles but other than that amazing! Will we definitely be back for breakfast, that side of the menu looked insane! So really my only issues were we could smell the people smoking outside in the back area which really sucked. The bathroom was gross AF. I'm sorry but I don't think I've seen a more tore up bathroom at a restaurant before. And the weird Diet Coke and it could've just been us but we kinda felt like the staff was annoyed they had to help us, again it could've just been they got slammed in the AM and were recovering BUT I actually heard 2 other guests talking about the same thing. Either way I hope the lady had a better day. And I would recommend the food here!

We were there for six games of pool and did not have any acknowledgment of our presence. There was an empty table next to us with the remains of the previous customers. Looks reasonably nice, for a typical small town bar. Fairly populated around 10:30 PM. My friend says the drinks are good and cheap, and that you can get "black out drunk" for $20. Which is apparently a good thing? I'd already eaten and drank plenty of soda, so I didn't get anything. But the vibe was pleasant enough. Loud music, some loud people, but nothing too off the walls. I was probably only worried because I don't like drinking, or bars. I'd never come back, but that's just because I don't drink. I came here because my friend wanted to show me the place. (We actually wanted to go to "The Hub" but he said it wasn't "popping" enough.) Overall, it's a nice enough bar for people that should be in attendance. But it wasn't outstanding enough to make want to come and get a water. Thanks for reading if you did. My friend saw an old fling here, and got worried.

I had the Pesto Caprese pizza and it was amazing! The balsamic glaze added just the right amount of sweetness to bring together the different flavors. My husband had the NY steak and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and told us how all the ingredients were locally sourced, which is very good to hear because we like to support local businesses. Lastly, the building is quite beautiful with the exposed brick interior walls. I'm not familiar with the local history so I'm curious as to what this building was originally? We will definitely come back and also check out the market next time.

    ### So Bad It Was Almost Comical…read more My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our drive from Oregon to Seattle. The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.
