The lighting isn't as bright as Sports Authority, so the place looks dingy as a result. The prices seem in line with other sporting goods stores, but the customer service is what elevated this from a 3 star review to a 4 star review. I was greeted when I entered and asked if I needed help finding anything. He walked me toward the right area and another team member took me the rest of the way. The weight lifting belt that I bought rang up $10 more than the price on the peg where it hung, which is common in retail since things get moved to the wrong place by customers all the time, but the same product from that same peg had the same price as the price on the peg. So the team member have me a 15% discount to get closer to the listed price, which I was cool with. I also bought a new Brewers t-shirt for about $5 less than I find at most other retailers. I will consider Burghardt's for future purchases if I can't find what I want closer to my house.

The $50 that you spend in a SVdP Thrift Store can turn into the rent or utility payment that keeps a family warm and in their home. I had bought a $200 table from Sears that was bad quality but decided to upgrade to the Sports Authority because we have a nice home and I didn't want to junk it up. This Triumph 3 in 1 table had 5 stars so I was excited to get it. When it came, it had defective parts that could not actually screw into the table, misaligned pre-drilled holes, missing predrilled holes and was a disaster to put together. It took my husband and I hours to put together. It also had parts where the plastic veneer was ripped off and glue residue. Because of the defective parts and assembly issues it looks pretty bad and junky in my nice house. The part that really upsets me is that I went onto the Sports Authority website to set the record straight and make sure that other people aren't fooled by the 4 star rating. The problem is that, as far as I can tell, they didn't publsh my review!! So they are still showing this item as 5 stars, even though I gave it a 1 star review. BEWARE of their online reviews because they certainly didn't share my negative review!! ALSO... I tried to call Triumph Sports to see if they would address the problem and after I called the toll free number on the website, I was forwarded to a recording that said I could leave a message. I came in with what was an urgent and not easy request. Long story short, we had to get hand brakes…read moreput on for my daughter who is special needs and was learning how to ride a bike. Unfortunately the need was urgent for us to have it done. I took it in and there was hesitation on whether it could be done at all and if so, if the brake would fit over the fender. After expressing my urgency and the why behind getting this done, I was told to leave it there and I would get a call by the end of the day. I was expecting the call to tell me whether or not it could be done but when the call came in, it was to tell me the installation was completed. I went to get the bike and discovered that they were indeed able to not only get the hand brake on but did not have to remove the rear fender. Because of their hard work and expedited install, our daughter was able to take the necessary classes to learn how to ride a bike. As of today, "Joelle" (bikes name given by my daughter) is being ridden with no assistance from us other than take off. Thank you to the team out at Expedition Supply. You won over a new customer and I will be bringing in our bikes anytime we need service, to you. The joy and excited of watching our daughter ride her bike independently is priceless and was provided to us in part by your team.

Then bike shows up in box looks to be not opened then while opening notice bike has no oakley grips. ( little did I know VERY EXPENSIVE). Not a big deal went to my local shop picked up a set of cheap grips to get by. Talked to a bunch of employees to try and just have the grips shipped for back up before doing research and finding out there worth like 300$. Called and talked to the owner Mike he told me grips were nothing special and he'll send me a pair that cost around 25$. He knew rite off the bat they were way more and tryed to get one over on me. Talked to another employee a week later when I found out the actual price of the grips he informed me bike parts in the past from SB tend to come up "not in the package". Meaning someone in the store likes to take there pick of certain things (mine came with no grips he told me another came with no pedals). At this point I'm pissed rite. Mike says we can't do nothing until SB sends replacement parts. I contact sb direct they say no problem have the store open a case well send them out. I talk to Mike he snuffs me for like 3 months then says he can't deal with it transfers my issue to a guy name John and he'll reach out. 6 months later 1300$ bike no grips no emails to resolve and a bunch of lies back to back. His own employees talk about he's shady and parts come missing BUYER BEWARE.
