Where do I begin? My bride made an anniversary trip for us before the North Cascades Highway closes for the winter. She chose the River's Edge for our accommodations. We stayed in Cabin #12 and it was very nice. It was clean and neat. It came equipped with a full kitchen. We used the refrigerator but did not cook. There was a stack of napkins on the nook table but no paper towels available. Next time I'll remember a roll. The deck was right above the river and was very scenic. The hot tub was very useful to us and we sat in it stargazing for hours. The setting is private with privacy screens on both sides. We had neighbors on both sides of us who were also outside but all was peaceful. Good nature sounds out there. The check in procedure was flawless. It was all faceless and we never entered the office or saw any staff at all. They had our credit card number and sent us an email the day we arrived with the key box code. I'm assuming Covid prompted that procedure but it was smooth. There were a couple rocking chairs and a couch in the tv area. Under the tv was a DVD player and we watched some old Bogart/Bacall movies. Very cool. We already booked another trip next time Washington Pass is clear. read more

What an awesome find! By sheer luck I managed to walk in off the street to finally view an example of one of their fine cabins and it just so happened that there was a no-show. A miracle occurred and I managed to get the cabin for the night. It was more than awesome. I particularly loved the staff - they made me feel more than welcome and I'm forever grateful for their hospitality. What timing to walk up and get a cabin in a place that's already extremely difficult to reserve. Miraculous - and great scenic spot - super Fall colors as well. Loved it and will return often! One star because I can't do zero. I have been a loyal guest of rivers edge for about 15 years or so, introduced to this beautiful place by my parents , have spent many special occasions here and created great memories. That ended today. They have turned over all booking, requests and communications to a foreign call center, and outsourced most positions at the resort, resulting in surprise fees of over 35% upon payment at booking. But that's not even the big issue. We were scheduled to check in today and stay overnight, a last fling of the summer for my family before our son goes back to school. Unfortunately yesterday we were evacuated from our home due to a fast moving wild fire, we returned home today even though we are still an a level 2 high alert and attempted to reschedule or cancel due to the circumstances. Now I understand a strict no cancelation policy, but sometimes things happen The call center asserts they reached out to the hotel but will not receive confirmation about refund is available due to circumstances for at least 24 hours so we can either stay home and HOPE we receive the refund or split the family up again to keep our safe and get some of our moneys worth out of the reservation... These communities used to be about togetherness and helping each other out, but it looks like one of our FORMER favorite spots ha sold out and is now just a money making tool for folks who live hours away and don't care. The customer service is severely lacking. In good faith, upon completing their online check in process, we had emailed the resort three days before our arrival date to let them know our son would be accompanying us. However, our son became sick the next day and did not accompany us. We were told upon check-in that we had already been charged for our son and we could not get a refund. When I tried to speak to someone in the office, the office had no one available in person nor would they answer the phone. I was only allowed to communicate via email and I was told repeatedly I would not receive a refund. This put a significant damper on our weekend getaway and showed a lack of significant lack of customer service. read more

Great cabins. We got one of the chalets with a hot tub because we're here for a hockey tournament. The hot tub didn't work. They refunded us $40 off the price of our whole weekend stay when we asked about it because they 'couldn't get someone out to look at it'. They communicated this to us with a note taped to the outside of our door. When my partner wanted to talk to them about the hot tub "solution", they said they couldn't help because they were filling in for someone and didn't know basically anything. Then they asked US how many people we had staying with us, because 'the maintenance man' noticed multiple people coming and going from the chalet. Those multiple people were our buddies who were staying in two of the other chalets. It's a hockey tournament. To respond to a complaint with "well should we be charging you extra for occupancy??????" is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We had friends have hot tub issues in their chalet last year as well. Seems like a really good way to make lots of money when you aren't refunding people appropriate amounts of money. We got that cabin for the hot tub because we are a bunch of people playing hockey in subzero temperatures. Otherwise we would have rented one of the chalets next to the ice rink (duh). Pretty upsetting 'resolution'. We are planning on calling them again when their 'main person' is back on the premises. Also they provide lots of cooking dishes and a couple spices but if you plan on cooking at all, assume you will need to purchase all of the basics (butter, cooking oil, etc) as they are not provided. And yes, the beds ARE as awful as the other reviews say. read more

Updated on 8/12: we are increasing our rating to 2 stars because they shipped us a pillow we left in the motel while packing to leave. We did have to do a chargeback for the full refund, though. My husband and I went to Winthrop late July 2024 intending to stay at River's Edge Resort. We started with a good impression of the cabin and were left with a bad experience. We dropped off our luggage at check-in, went to have dinner, and upon returning around 7pm we started to notice many bugs--small black beetles that can fly were on the window frame, floors, walls, bed frame, night stand, and kitchen. We packed our things into our car right away, and then we sat in the parking lot as my husband called the number for the motel and spoke with a lady who claimed she had "never heard of this before" and assured him they'd call us back the next day to resolve the issues. Ultimately we refused to stay the night there and called around and were lucky to find another place to stay, in Republic, WA two hours away. The next day we received a call from them and as we began to discuss the issue they denied finding anything in the room and claimed that they recorded the unit just after we left, and that they found nothing. After pressing them further they claimed that there weren't beetles in there but actually just flies. At a certain point they just asked us "what do we want" and we requested a full refund. They then asked us to send them evidence of the bugs, which I sent right away via email. We followed up with them multiple times and had been waiting a week after which they offered to issue a partial refund but did not mention how much that would even be. This is an unacceptable resolution to the issue we had of a bug infestation in a room in which we did not even sleep in. We generally have felt mistreated as would-be customers of this business, and we feel as if they are primarily out to protect themselves rather than focus on a positive customer experience. When reading through other reviews, we found one that echoes our experience down to the same language that was used with us when we reported the bugs in our cabin. Another reviewer named Sonia mentioned that she experienced bed bugs and was met with denial of her 31 bed bug bites, and that the River's Edge Resort worker said that "no one has every complained about them before and this was the first of her hearing of this. She apologized and said that she would take care of it, and due to the rest of our great experience, I accepted and let it go. She clearly lied to me because I just looked at previous reviews and someone complained just 6 months ago about mites biting her and her child..." We write this review in the hope that River's Edge Resort finds solutions to these bug problems for future customers and focuses on better customer experiences. read more

In February 2024 I reserved a 3 bedroom cabin at Rivers Edge. The 3 bedroom cabin has 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. The 4 of us arrived and were giving a 2 bedroom cabin with 2 beds and one bathroom. We had just driven 5 hours to get there and had food that needed to be put in the refrigerator and we needed a kitchen to be able to cook. We had no viable option than to move in. The check in lady could not adjust our bill because she was not authorized to but assured me that it would be adjusted before we checked out, 4 days later. It was not adjusted but again I was told it would be. Well they finally adjusted our bill from $1494.12 to $1414.12. A whopping $80 to sleep on a couch and a rollaway that was closer to a hammock than a bed! I know the difference in price between a 3 bedroom and 2 bedroom at the time I booked was closer to $500. I had enjoyed my stay there in past years but this is inexcusable and I won't be back. My group had reserved 5 rooms and we won't be reserving 5 next year. read more

Love the location of the resort. I stayed the night in a cozy cottage, which is not right on the river but one row of cottages back from the river. Privacy is great while sitting in the hot tub. You can easily hear the river. The price is reasonable for such a cute clean cottage. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. The property is within easy walking distance of the entire town. A very peaceful and relaxing time. read more

We booked our stay for 5 days, 4 nights (2 different cabins) but had to leave after 2 nights when member of our party had a heart attack and had to be transported to Wenatchee for life saving treatment. Since we had been staying there yearly for 5+ years, we thought the owners would be willing to compromise on payment since we checked out early for extenuating circumstances beyond our control. The owner refused to compromise in any way and was rude and unprofessional when I expressed my disappointment in their policy. Nice place to stay, but the surly desk lady took the shine off our visit. We have been staying at River's Edge for 11 years and finally worked our way up to Cabin 20 (we consider 20 to be the best location), so every year for the last 5 years we reserve Cabin 20 for the next year's classic car show. When we checked in this year, we were told Cabin 20 was already rented, and decidedly grumpy desk person would not help us at all. When I checked out on Sunday and tried to reserve Cabin 20, same surly response. I will reluctantly continue to stay there because River's Edge has the best location and amenities, but I wonder how long they can treat long-time customers like that without losing business. read more

Amazing place and Location, Location, Location!! Ok they are located on the edge of the small town of Winthrop which makes them walking distance to about everything expect the local grocery store (IGA) although the general store is close. The resort is located right on the edge of the river hence the name. Although it appears that only the 2 to 3 bedroom units get the view, the other smaller units sit behind them with a view, but not looking down on the river. Spend the extra money, because it is well worth it. Our friends fortunately booked the larger unit. It would comfortable fit 6 adults, we were 4 and a kid. 2 bedrooms upstairs with their own bathroom and the master bedroom on the main floor with another full size bathroom which included the washer and dryer; the resort provided powdered soap too!!! The kitchen is a nice size with spices, ground coffee, and a few other amenities. They also have the essential cookware and plates, cups and wine glasses. A nice 6 person dining room table and a comfortable couch with a love seat. There was also a nice gas stove to add to the ambiance. The deck was large and fitted with a four person hot tub which the resort comes and checks every afternoon. The views from the deck are nice with a beautiful view of the river; we were visited every morning by a bald eagle? Overall the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, everything worked expect the noisy bathroom fan, and they were quiet, the river added to the background noise which made for nice sleeping. I cannot say enough good things about this place; come and stay for a few nights definitely a place to come and unwind. read more

Nice and rustic. I especially loved that it had a couple of chairs and a patio with a view of the river that you could sit outside on. It's not fancy but clean and old fashioned like. We rented a large & spacious 3 bedroom cabin overlooking the river. The Resort was quiet & private. Upon entry to our cabin I was Immediately impressed with the cleanliness. Lots of natural lighting & spacious. The cabin was fully stocked & had full size washer&dryer. The location is idea. Just on the edge of town & walking distance to downtown. We will definitely return to Winthrop & look forward to staying @ our new favorite cabin @ Rivers Edge! read more

We vacationed at Rivers Edge Resort with our children and another family on June 24th-27th 2021. We stayed at cabin #19. The place was very clean and beautiful, and obviously the view was phenomenal! The only minor complaints we had were that the cabin lacked a few basics (i.e. paper towels, salt & pepper) and the beds were very uncomfortable but we were okay with that. However, on the morning of June 25th around 10:30a.m. an EXTREMELY dead tree FELL on our cabin. It completely shook the entire cabin and felt like we were having an earthquake. A ton of branches and debris completely covered the porch, and a couple sharp branches even punctured the hot tub cover. Branches and debris were 2 ft. away from hitting our friends van. This event was extremely scary... our children had been asking to go in the hot tub just about an hour before and thankfully no one was out on the porch at that time.. if it did that damage to the cover, I can't even think about what it could have done. We went and got the staff and most everyone around had heard the loud crash. The woman in charge of cleaning was very kind and apologetic, and promised to get the porch cleaned up ASAP (which they did). I rarely post reviews but I wanted to write this one because we were VERY disappointed in the management of this establishment. We were expecting to receive a call or at least an email from management to check in and make sure we were okay but we heard absolutely nothing. Obviously we know that it is no ones fault necessarily (it's nature!), but I would hope with that many trees SO close to the cabins, you would keep up on removing the dead ones so this doesn't happen. Very disappointed in the management of River's Edge, we felt very uncared for besides the one nice cleaning woman. We've stayed here twice now and the place is fantastic. We rented a 2 bedroom cabin on the river. The deck sits just a few feet back from the edge of the river. The hot tub is great. There is a hillside across the river so you really get nice privacy. The place is right on the edge of town so you can walk to everything. We never moved our car the whole weekend. The girl who checked us in and out was super friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a basket of towels for the hot tub. All in all a great stay and at under $300 a night for a 2 bedroom it's a great value too! read more

Booked a chalet with a hot tub for our honeymoon stay. Booked our reservation months in advance at River's Edge using a third party reservation platform. The website stated pet friendly. Five days prior to our stay which is today we received a confirmation form to fill out from Rivers Edge. Found on the confirmation form there are no pets allowed. Followed up with a phone call to the resort for more information and was told they don't allow pets. You can imagine how frustrated and heartbroken we were to find out this new information after booking months in advance for our special honeymoon trip and left with only five days to figure out pet care. I let them know the statement of "pets allowed" was clearly marked on the third party webpage and we were very surprised to find out this was incorrect. The front desk person stated they had knowledge of third party booking site discrepancy as the resort had received other customers complaints voicing the same concern. The front desk person also claimed WE made the mistake of using a third party reservation platform and instead should have called the resort directly. I found this transference of blame disconcerting. I voiced my frustration over the phone about the situation and stated we may cancel our reservation however wanted to give ourselves 24-hours to make a decision. I also sent them an email with a screen shot, as the front desk person requested, of the third party website stating "pets allowed". In my email I restated our heart break and disappointment about the situation and mentioned I would post a review about our experience. I imagined my review would end here had "Heidi" from Rivers Edge resort kept her composure. However, I receive a scathing follow up email from "Heidi" stating that they will not tolerate bullies. Heidi then stated she started the process to cancel our reservation immediately. I had to ask myself why the mention of posting a review would warrant such a reaction. This level of judgement, lack of customer service and name calling was completely unreasonable. This confirmed we dodged a bullet here. I would not recommend booking with this resort based on our experience. Nothing is worth the price of feeling demeaned and discounted because a company is too ignorant to recognize their responsibility in false advertisement and to make changes accordingly. read more

Drove over 350 miles to go to a family wedding in the next town. We got there early and didn't expect to be in but wanted to ask to get into our room by 3:30 as the wedding started at 4. They refused to let us in. They said no one would get in before 4. I offered to pay for early entry but they refused. Suggested the lobby bathroom which was filthy. The floor must have been washed the month before. They also offered the boat house, telling us there were showers and towels. We decided to try that option, went to our car to get our clothes. It was 94 degrees so I wanted to wash my hair. I almost fell going into the boat house as the stairs were a tripping hazard. No towels were in there Al all and according to another person in there there are NEVER any towls in there!!! The floors were as dirty as the main bathroom and I was afraid to put my feet in the shower for fear of a fungus!!! I washed my hair in the unisex bathroom that was constantly being knocked on for someone who needed to use it. Did I mention that the faucets are timed???! I had to keep putting my hands on the faucet to wash my hair. My husband changed in the parking lot. We got to the wedding 12 minutes lates. At 11 we returned after the wedding, got the key and went to the room that was ridiculously overpriced. We tried every way to ask for assistance. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience and dirty to boot!!!! read more

We had such a fantastic stay here for my boyfriends birthday. It was winter bliss. There's nothing quite like soaking in a private hot tub with your sweetie, having snow flakes drift down onto you while listening to the river a few feet away. The cabin was very comfortable and modern compared to some other local places. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location can't be beat. You're steps from everything downtown Winthrop has to offer, but it's easy to forget that when you're settling in for the night. We couldn't believe the price for the wonderful cabin, hot tub and location. We'll definitely be going back next year (and the year after that, etc.). This place is a new favorite. read more

My wife and I decided to drive to Winthrop on the spur of the moment without making any plans. We arrived in town around 4pm and started looking for a place to stay. We found River's Edge Resort and went in to see what it was like. We were greeted by the owner, Heidi Knutzen who was extremely pleasant and helpful. Heidi told us of our options and gave us keys to two different cabins and let us check them out ourselves. We ended up deciding on the cabin right on the river with the hot tub on the deck! The cabins were beautiful and very well set up. I thought they were brand new because the condition of the cabin was so good. We found out later that the cabins were 15 years old! Our cabin had two bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen that included coffee, dishes and a full spice rack. There was one full bathroom and a laundry room with a washer and dryer, laundry soap and another sink. The hot tub was a very nice one that was good an hot and offered beautiful views of the river and the night sky. The cabins all have free wifi which was fast and easy to connect to. We only stayed one night but we loved the Resort. We have already invited some friends to join us for our next trip to Winthrop and we will definitely stay here. I can't say enough good stuff about the facility and Heidi. We bumped in to Heidi the next morning at a coffee shop (not difficult given that Winthrop is tiny) and we were greeted warmly and had a nice talk with her. This is a great place to stay! read more

Beautiful cabin on the river. Checkin isn't until 4pm, which seems a bit late, but they got us in at 3. Jacuzzi was great. Cabins are wonderfully stocked with kitchen utincles and even some spices. Winthrop as a whole was a bit of a let down. It was cool at first to see the old west style town, but it quickly turned into a total tourist trap. We won't be coming back to Winthrop, but if we do, for some ungodly reason, we'll definitely stay at these cabins. read more

We were excited to get out tubing in the 90+ degree hot day. Called to reserve spot and were told 1-1.5 hr wait so signed up. Waited over 2 hrs and still had 4 large groups ahead of us so at least another 1/2 he. When suggested they develop a kitty better way of estimating time the guy simply said "well it's not my fault"! It gets a two for location. We have been there before and were planning on the whole family this 4th of July, Not Now thanks to management. Wife and I checked in this last Friday for two nights the 19th and 20th of April. Nice hot tube and cabin, but then came the night. Bed was spongy and had a dip to the center. We fought all night to get away from each other. We are both very warm sleepers so after alittle cuddling we like to separate. By morning our backs were killing us. We are in our 60s and had to get up about 7a cuz we couldn't take it any longer. Went to the office when they opened and told them of our night and that we needed to change cabins. She said they were full. I told her that we can not do another night and to refund my card for the second night. Said she would get her manager to do so. Went to pack up and she called me back to the office where I was advised that the manager said she would not refund do to their cancelation policy of 72 hours. But offered a larger cabin that was much more expensive and we would have to pay the difference. Basically, stay in our cabin for another miserable night or lose 140.00. Unbelievable. Credit card company has been contacted and dispute filed. We found another location in the area that learned of our adventure and they have booked us for the 4th of July, with VIP accommodations. Over $1000.00 booking that Rivers Edge lost. Pass it on please. read more

The resort location was perfect for my 3 day toodle around the Methow Valley with my Dad for his 77th birthday. The cabin was clean and I loved being able to cook in a full kitchen (with gas range!). We were in the end cabin, so parking was a bit tricky with 2 vehicles. The hot tub was dated but it worked! I paid extra for a deluxe cabin because it was described as having one full and one 1/2 bath. There was only 1 bathroom, and a sink in the utility room. When I asked where the other toilet was, I was told that a 1/2 bath was a sink and mirror. This was a very expensive trip for me and the drive to get there was long, so I was ready to argue... then looked at my Dad and decided to let it go. I noticed the description now says powder room (sink/mirror). Well um, good they clarified what their definition of a powder room is, because EVERYBODY else expects a toilet in a powder room. Seriously ridiculous charging extra for a sink in a utility room. There was also a very uncomfortable moment when we sat down to dinner, we turned on the tv to a man with his face buried in a woman's crotch. Both fully naked with close ups of the woman's breasts, licking her lips and moaning. I dont watch tv, so it took me painfully long to get the channel switched, and I was shocked to learn that fully naked people having oral sex on tv was just a click away. It was awkward enough with my father present, and I may be prude, but there would have been hell to pay if my kids were there. And lastly, I think the rates were overpriced for the time we were there. The town was pleasantly empty and most of the cabins were vacant... so I would anticipate lower rates. Don't get me wrong, this place is by no means horrible, I was just disappointed by the experience. read more

I'm sure it's a nice place, but here's our recent experience: We had booked a three bedroom unit in June for a few days this last week. 88 hours before our check-in time, a rockslide closed the SR 20 pass for at least the next few weeks. 56 hours before our arrival, the rockslides made the local papers. We called immediately and asked if we could move our reservation date back a few weeks, as the only other way to Winthrop would require taking a much longer route, which was not an option work-wise for our friends. The resort refused to allow us to change the date, as it was now within 72 hours of our check in time, and charged us a $150.00 cancellation fee, instead. Tone deaf customer service, at the least. We rebooked our trip for a few weeks later at a more accommodating place. I guess they would rather have our business, instead. read more

The three bedroom unit we stayed in had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We cooked dinner, turned on the fireplace, then sat in the hot tub while hearing the river at night. There was no shortage of towels either. Well worth the price and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in Winthrop. read more

Let's not tiptoe around it shall we- the ONLY reason we booked this place was because of the private hot tub on your own deck. Legit- the only reason. But we soon found out that the cabins are comfy & cute, kept fairly clean (I'll just pretend I didn't see the bug colony growing on the shower curtain liner or the smeared chocolate mystery smudges on the outside oven door) and it's mostly private. River side views are great although a little misleading from the website photos. It's a DROP down to the river- so no, you won't be fishing deck side and forget about a relaxing stroll along the shore. The rock covered, yellow jacket infested river front guarantees you'll be looking only & not out for a romantic stroll. But it sure does look nice & hey- there's deer! While it's true that we could have enjoyed our stay much MORE if not for the construction guy directly across from our cabin who felt the urgent NEED to hammer every nail in site at 7:20AM. Or the screaming child in the cabin next door that was running around outside hollering like THE BOOGIE MAN HIMSELF WAS AFTER HIM starting at 6am for at least 30+ minutes to which NO ONE WAS ASLEEP EVER AGAIN (parents, it's called common courtesy, let's get some yeah?) I do realize that the lack of sleep issues are NOT the properties fault. But still y'all. It's not as private or quiet as you think it will be & perhaps I'm a little cranky from my lack of sleep for my entire stay. My entire stay. And not for nothing but why in the world do you charge $40/per person extra per day? I get it's a base rate but $40?!? This is literally the highest extra charge for a additional person that I have ever come across. $10 would be better & I can see dropping $20 because y'all- there's a hot tub. But that's seriously the limit. Major deterrent here regarding this HIGH charge & from someone who works in the hotel/tourism industry (that would be me!), you should really rethink this. Like- a lot. For the love, can you tell me why do you NOT put a sun umbrella on every deck? Our deck was hot as fried hell mid day & impossible to actually sit outside & enjoy the view. While we are discussing the deck- let's invest in some GOOD & comfortable chairs yeah? I'm talking wicker with big, thick padding & a place to actually put your feet up. I'm paying for this view- I'd like to enjoy it mmkay.... Bottom line. I'm not driving back to Winthrop anytime soon but if hell freezes over & I do, I'll probably stay here. Don't hesitate booking- just go! We were hosting a group of 10 people during our wedding road trip at North Cascades National Park this past summer. After being given the run around by a few different lodges/resorts, I found River's Edge Resort. I am thrilled I found it! Heidi knows how to provide exceptional customer service. From the moment I called to inquire about rates, she was very enthusiastic and shared in my excitement about the wedding. She was SO incredibly helpful when others (at different lodges around the area) weren't. She mailed me out a ton of info about the town itself- where we could eat, things we could do, you name it- she sent tons of brochures from places in the area. When I had a freak-out about not being able to find someone to do my hair in town on the wedding day, no worries. I fired off an email to her and within a few hours she had sent me over a list of people who hadn't come up on a google search, with her recommendation and what she had heard of them, along with a sympathetic "the last thing you need is added stress for before your wedding!" This enabled me to breathe a huge sigh of relief. The cabins were PERFECT! Very cute lodge-style, complete with personal hot tub on the porch with privacy screen. Right on the river. This was absolutely the ideal spot to have a few people for a wedding celebration- people could hang out in each other's cabins, as opposed to a hotel room (awkward). Now we have an excuse to come back for anniversary trips here! read more

The river tubing the resort offers is very dangerous and not recommended for anyone. The worst experience I've ever had in my entire life and I'm 56 years old!! I was thrown off the tube and almost drowned and not one person would help. Noting another thing is that the tubing is extremely expensive for a tubing adventure and to risk my life with dangerous conditions such as jet boats almost flipping the tube over due to the waves and the risk of drowning without help is a understatement. I would never recommend the river tubing the resort offers. read more

I have only the best thing to say about this resort!! We drove 4 hours to get there with our girls and one gets carsick very easily, but my goodness was it worth it! We rented the river side cabin and I was more than pleased, I'm a bit of a germaphobe and the place was clean and beyond my expectation! The cabin has such homey feel/touch to it, and they literally had everything in there you'll ever need (even I couldn't have packed better)! The staffs were so friendly and helpful, everything they've prepped in the cabin for us felt well thought of, our entire stay there (3 nights) we didn't feel the need to ask for housekeeping at all! We're definitely going to make an effort to make this our annual winter getaway destination! read more

While we only stayed here one night between camping sites, the folks at River's Edge really made things memorable for us. The ladies in the office were helpful, kind and courteous. The cabin was beautiful and comfy. Everything in town was within walking distance, i wish we had stayed longer! read more

This is the 2nd winter I've stayed at the River's Edge Resort, in one of their 3 Bedroom Riverside Chalets. I will be back. Great accommodation, love the hot tub and the creek view from the balcony. Unique cabins located right on the Chewuch River in Winthrop, WA. Stay in the middle of town close to food and shopping but far enough from the traffic than can congest Winthrop during the peak seasons. Many cabins are located on the river which creates a fantastic backdrop and background sound. Sit on your personal deck watching the wildlife walk by, enjoy your own hot tub, cook barbeque or in the fully equipped kitchen.
