It was the same beer called devolve. I liked the beer it was light with a nice fruity taste. Northfork looks like they set up shop in a garage which is pretty cool, they designed it well but I wonder how they stay open in the winter. Super nice and approachable, let us sample anything we wanted. I went with a flight to start out with since there was a nice variety of options. I'm not an IPA person, so I opted for a peach sour, a pilsner, a wheat beer and one wild card that was bitter but in a good way. I love a good sour and had to get a second glass of the peach beer after my flight. Prices are reasonable, flights are around $12 for four pours, and a draft beer is $9. They also have cans to go if there's a beer you fall in love with and want to take home with you. They have a rotating food truck out back (it was Greek food when we came here) and also had a few empanadas. We did the three for $13 and got a variety. Our bartender accommodated us by leaving the black bean one on a separate plate since one of us don't eat meat. Ambiance here is chill and laid back, there are several games you can play and there was live music you could hear playing from next door at Montauk Distilling Co. which was a nice touch. A solid place to spend a nice Sunday - I was honestly surprised they weren't packed.

The food was great, and were we not stuffed from lunch, we definitely would've gotten some dessert. They all sounded amazing, but we were just too full. This place has a great menu with lots of things that caught my eye. I finally landed on their French Dip, which is one of the best I've had. The meat was ribeye, and it was tender and soft, not to mention moist. The au jus was flavorful and not too salty. The French bread had just enough crunch, but was also soft and easy to bite into. With the melted cheese and caramelized onions, it had amazing flavor!! My grandson and granddaughter split a grilled cheese that looked amazing. My daughter ordered the Bang Bang shrimp tacos, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My husband ordered a drunken chicken melt, which is essentially chicken parm with vodka sauce. He loved it !! Unfortunately, I don't remember what my son-in-law ordered, nor do I have a photo of it. Oops ! I wished my daughter and her family lived closer to Riverhead cuz I would ask to go here all the time. After watching Michelle politely inform them that she can not accept the change being that their register does not have coin currency the customers became irate calling her white trash and continued to berated her while she apologized for the inconvenience. In my personal opinion I salute her self control and professionalism because it couldn't have been me. I would have immediately denied service and banned them. If you decide to come enjoy this bar please bring your respect and leave your coin purse at home.
