Slap you up sida the head good!…read more Bottom line, this is great chicken. Without a doubt the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Enormous breast fried to a perfect golden brown at your desired heat level. Topped with a scoop of righteous house cole slaw and pickle slice on toasted Brioche perfection. Extensive menu including chicken strips, chicken and waffles, chicken sandwiches, ribs, hamburgers and salads. Comfortable and casual...elevated fast food. These guys deliver! Go!

The General Manager was friendly and knowledgeable. The other staff were polite and helpful. It was a warm welcome to the establishment. I had multiple requests and they were all taken care of. Ambiance was good no complaints. Dining room was clean and comfortable. I like that they offer booths and tables for seating. The decor is simple with chicken art. The vibe is laid back and gives a little bit of country down to earth feel. Mimosas were definitely full of champagne! Chicken sandwich was moist and juicy. I like the slaw and pickles that come on it. I chose medium heat, but next time I want it a bit more spicy. I wanted sweet heat sauce on it. I think there was a slight misunderstanding with that. The sauce that comes on it doesn't have a kick. Quick fix they brought me a side of it. Once I poured that SWEET HEAT SAICE on my chicken sandwich it was magical. My mouth was happy and excited. This sauce definitely makes a difference. You will be singing to the chicken GODS lol. It made the chicken taste so good. The fries were hot, a bit salty for my liking. They give you a generous portion of fries though. The sweet potato fries seem to be the popular choice. Everyone had them on their table. I will have to try those. Overall a very good visit! I left satisfied and FULL! It's a popular place on weekend and they get a good crowd. You can order margaritas, beer or mimosas so that's a bonus. Thanks Cookshack for the hospitality.

When hanging out on Magnolia St....you eat Gus's Fried Chicken! The spice level was perfect--just…read morethe right amount of heat to give it a bold kick without overpowering the flavor. The chicken itself was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with that signature seasoning that keeps you coming back for more. But let me tell you--the fried pickles are hands down my absolute favorite! Perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and served hot with that irresistible crunch. I could honestly order those alone and be happy. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and the service matched the quality of the food--friendly, fast, and attentive. If you're craving real, flavorful fried chicken with a kick, Gus's is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Just different. And the Mac was not my favorite. Once I saw they pour the bag of Mac n cheese in a heater. Then I was like ahh. I just figured it would be home made like the pies and chicken. Our waiter was sweet and we even had dessert. Recommend the chocolate pie warmed with ice cream. Love. Definitely not too bad. Will come back again. And try different sides.

We wandered into Little Red Wasp on Main…read moreStreet, lured in by a lively crowd and a menu that split the difference between brunch and lunch. A promising sign on both counts. We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.

We each decided to try one of their plates of chicken tenders. The food was very tasty. A bit of spice, but certainly nothing overwhelming. Fries were delicious, biscuit was among the best I've ever had at a fast food place. All around, just a very nice time. Staff were friendly, place was clean, all in all I just have no complaints. I'll be eager to return here and try some different selections. Menu is small, but specialized. No frills, but also no fat in need of trimming. They do chicken, they do it well, and I think you'll enjoy it if you're a fan of fried chicken and southern style comfort food.

(+1*) Bo's sent me a reward for a free biscuit, reward would not load into my order. Plus app does not allow you to order a side of gravey or jelly. Out of the 4 locations, this one wins the dirtiest of them all. Only 2 tables were clean. All the other tables you could see crumbs, trash, and sticky spots on table tops. NASTY! One shimmer of hope, this location actually got our food out in 25 minutes. Still too long of a wait when your the only customer. Went to get flatware, straws, and napkins all empty. Then had to go back to the counter to ask for a plate to eat my biscuit and gravey. Far as I could tell only two people were working. The young lady was working both the drive-thru and front counter. One cook, trying to cook. The person I assumed was the manager, stood in the lobby area watching traffic go by on hwy. The biscuits were at least hot but slightly over cooked. Super brown tops and bottoms. Edible but not enjoyable. The round potatoes were undercooked and not even warm. Actually kind of soggy and wet inside, and we still had a 25 minute wait. Those rounds should of been hot and crispy brown. Then the big let down was the tea was super weak, somone did not steep long enough. I'm not sure Bo's is going to make it in Texas. Super long wait time for food, kiosk and app incomplete, and constant inconsistent quality of food. Never know what you will get, if you ever get your food. Although I like that crisp crunch of the chicken, I'm sticking with Chick-Fil-A, no more Bo's for me. How hard could it be to properly manage a limited item franchise?
