The room was nice and cozy warm too. It would have been nice to have a channel to know what we were watching but we were gone a lot. Room service was great too! Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. One thing, feedback wise, is maybe to put a door before the hallway where the rooms are. The voices echo in the lobby and we could hear them all the way down the hallway. A little thing, but we noticed it. We would definitely stay here again, it was delightful and a great find!!

The owner emailed us within 10 minutes of reserving online letting us know they would have a room ready. We were again greeted by the owner at check-in, and she could not have been more genuinely friendly. Our room was very clean, and the price was great. If you're in the area, shop local and don't stay in one of the chain hotels. Places like this deserve business.

Notified desk. No alternative room offered. On two consecutive days, two different maintenance staff unable to repair; needed replacement, none available. Was working with a local realtor one morning at this unit's kitchen table when a person without knocking ENTERED ROOM, then, quickly left without a word. Numerous front desk visits and two phone calls by me after checkout over a two week period, found General Manager, Mr. B..., unavailable. On 9/4/2025, I received a return phone call from General Manager. Was told he and an Asst. Manager found lock on door of said unit operable and working. During my four night stay in the one bedroom unit nearing $400 per night for room and attached room fees with an inoperable interior security door lock, I was credited $25 per night ($100 total). I expressed compensation was inadequate. General Manager said he would look at interior lock again. If still inoperable, he would reconsider additional compensation. I requested a call back on his findings. Will add to this post at that time. (Note: This was my third stay at this resort over a fourteen month period.)

When we checked out after the one night, the hotel staff said we had one more night. I told them this was incorrect. I went back to lodging.support to tell them that they got my reservation wrong. They said that they reached out to the hotel and that the hotel denied me the 1 day refund. All I can say is that you make sure you always book directly with the specific hotel. I will never be staying here again.

Hot tub was pretty stained and I'm convinced my belly button piercing became greatly infected largely due to whatever is floating in that hot tub. They had a breakfast spread but we didn't try it. Communal entry way/lounge area was nice. I also like that we could walk to a breakfast spot, to bars, and to downtown Eagle River from here no problem. This place was surprisingly pricey for it being a Monday and Tuesday night (paid $250+ for two nights) and still left a lot to be desired.

The room we were redirected to had no smoke detector. (We were still charged a whopping $192 for the night). The next day the detector in the original room was "fixed" and we returned. Breakfast was not restocked. Would not recommend.

Yesterday was so disappointing. I don't think we're coming back. Several things . We were the only ones there at 11:30. We noticed....They have moved the grill from outdoors to indoors, which creates a huge timeline lag , from when you order to when you receive your food. We ordered six bratwurst, an order of chicken strips, chips, that's good tots, beer. The Brats were long and narrow( not plump and juicy). They were overcooked, super dry, and no flavor. The only thing good were the onions and mustard. But for 90$ worth of food ... the value killed the ambience. Our order took over 20 minutes to receive, hey we're on vacation and while the time wasn't terrible, but we were surprised as they were not busy. Things change over the years and the food quality this year is poor. Eat at your own risk.
