This place exceeded my expectations the second time around . I was greeted right away by the cashier . I was quoted an actual time on how long the pizza would take . Ordered a small cheesesteak pizza. It was hot and delicious but, for $15 and some change, it would have been nice to have more than a sprinkling of the steak; you could clearly see and taste the mushrooms but the steak was sorely lacking. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; it was tasty and the chipotle sauce was a nice touch to the pizza. I went to Rivercrust Deli this past Tuesday night as a first-time customer excited to try the Italian sub. I got there at 6:45 pm to find the doors locked. There was no indication online nor on the door that their hours had changed for the day. I knocked on the door because I saw an employee inside. I did not receive any acknowledgement, not even the courtesy to tell me they were closing early for the night. I knocked again and the employee went to the back and started texting on his phone. Gotta say I'm disappointed and will not be returning. Bummer because it's close to my house and I love to support small businesses when possible. read more

Do yourself a favor and go check this gem out! I decided to try a new pizza place for dinner and came across the RiverCrust Deli on Yelp. When I called the lady on the phone was very friendly and took my order with ease! Unfortunately I didn't take pics of the food because we were just eager to try the pizza but we got a large pizza and some cheese breadsticks. The location of the shop is kinda hidden and I'll admit I got lost when gps said I had arrived. But after driving down just a little more down and there it is tucked in the corner. Inside is very clean with a few tables to sit at while you eat or wait for your order. The food was ready when I arrived and it was so hot that you can feel it through the box! The pizza has such an amazing flavor that made us eager to go back soon and try different topping combos. The breadsticks at first thought looked like they might lack a little flavor but I was wrong! All the cheese on top mixed with dipping it in marinara sauce makes it the perfect side for the pizza. Definitely cannot wait to go back and get some more pizza! read more

This was on that level, and half the price. Pillowy roll that didn't disintegrate while eating, great lean but flavorful meat (and lots of it), and cheese melted over the top as the finishing touch.
