    Three tacos de asada
    Josue E.

Absolutely took me by surprise. I'm from California and well tacos there are on a different level compared to any taco scene here and in Kansas. I've tried four other spots near Rivera's and this place blows them out the water without question. It reminds me so much of the Cali tacos I remember and miss. The horchata doesn't taste super syrupy or "fake" nor is it watered down. It's honestly as good if not better than my mamas. (Shhhh don't tell her). All jokes aside please come down if you want some mean carne asada tacos. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu another time. Oh lastly, service was very quick.

I was impressed with the cheerful, efficient, reasonably fast (seven minutes) service, the reasonable prices and the delicious food at this Mexican food truck, which is semi-permanently located near Santa Fe St and Kansas Ave but is also available for events. The three street tacos ($10) included rice, beans and choice of three salsas (hot, red and green). The tacos included good portions of moist, tasty chicken on soft, moist, 4" two-layer tortillas. I liked the tasty beans and moist, flavorful rice. The red sauce I selected was very hot, but not overwhelming. I noticed a small, covered dining area with seating for two and a small, private parking area. The menu included many Mexican favorites with six protein options. Very nice!

Incredible street tacos with truely spicy salsa. Very good. No complaints. I got four steak tacos- and I devoured them.

I can get 2 meals out of it. It's stuffed with steak, shrimp, and other veggies and such. I try to get something else but then I always can't resist getting it! I am going to have to force myself to explore the menu more. I have done Taco Tuesday and gotten several tacos. There's many options. I'm usually attracted to the street taco style but I have also gotten the gringo style and it is very good too! I love the birria and pastor. I got chicken and added black beans, yummy! You can't go wrong and they are $1 off each on Tuesday. I need to do Burrito Monday!! Everyone is always very nice when I pick up my order. I use the app and it's so easy! The restaurant is always clean either plenty of seats. They have some cool merch too! I need a tshirt and cap! I'm a big fan of Tiki Taco which o discovered thanks to Yelp!

We got a KC Burrito and Chicken Quesadilla. Really enjoyed the KC Burrito it has rice or fires. Per the staff suggestion I went with half of each. For the protein I got Al Pastor. Burrito was very big. Meat was tender and flavorful. It was a darn good burrito. We also got a Chicken Quesadilla. It had a lot of meat and cheese. Big serving. One of the best Quesadilla's we have had. Also, they have 4 different sauces to pick from. I got the medium. It was good Not sure what took us so long to try this place, however glad we finally have. We will be back.

Inside, the space is airy and vibrant with great acoustics and a chill little bar area that sets the perfect casual vibe. We started strong with the drinks. My friend went with the house margarita while I opted for the spicy pineapple jalapeño. Both were so incredibly good that skipping a second round wasn't even an option--we doubled up! Our server was wonderfully patient and attentive, gracefully making a few extra trips to our table while we hopelessly debated what to order. I finally settled on the Pollo Relleno, which came loaded with Mexican rice, refried beans, and a taco. My friend grabbed the tres crispy tacos paired with charro beans. When the plates arrived, the presentation was a little messy--but what it lacked in looks, it more than made up for in flavor. Excellent drinks, solid comfort food, and great service. We'll definitely be back!

The flavor balance is true Mexican flavors not American, which means authentic pop of balanced flavors! Booth behind had Coconut Margaritas. I always get the top shelf Margarita and my wife gets the cheapest one. The color and unique flavor of the Top Shelf is pretty unique. Both don't have that overly sweet candy taste. They taste so authentic. We then had to try the Coconut Margarita. I'm not always an island drink person, but it looked too good with the toasted coconut rim. It was so good and perfectly balanced to not be so sweet. The waitress said that was due to them making their own blends. We eat here all the time. I have had Mexican food all over the country in the best areas and this is the best! If I could invest in the expansion of this restaurant, I would.

We had one chicken empanada, one chicken taco, two pastor tacos, two carnitas, one barbacoa, and chips with guacamole. The guacamole is amazing and we will return solely for this single, tasty offering. The tacos are authentically mexican; just simple, bland, yummy goodness It's just hard to describe how something that doesn't have a lot of flavor can be so good and we aren't hot sauce people so that wasn't even touched. The service was okay, friendly enough but nothing over the top. Someone mentioned in a review that it isn't the restaurants fault that the landlord won't fix the ceiling but I find issue in that even the vents are disgusting. If it were my restaurant I would do everything in my power to make it look nice and clean enough for people to want to return a million times over. Like I said, we will probably be back but it cannot go without mentioning.
