Needless to say they need an overhaul of their menu, it's sad!
    Elle R.

We had such high hopes after reading the reviews. I am now convinced that it doesn't take much to impress folks. Every table was dirty when we walked in to the empty restaurant! The salsa bar was also very dirty. The el pastor tacos had great flavor but the meat was beyond tough. The empanada was tasty but the grease just ooozed right out and the flauta was way over cooked. Another note----do not use the restroom!

    Tacos!

Happened by this restaurant last week and glad I checked it out! I went for an assortment of tacos and I was pleased with the flavors and quality. The Al pastor tacos were the highlight for me as they had crisped the pork before serving and it was amazing! The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The inside is a bit "lived in" and could use a little work, but I was here for a tacos and not decor. If you're in the area, this place is worth a stop!

Great tacos, tortas and sopes! Love this place! Not skimpy on their portions and the workers are always friendly! We come at least a week.

Chips and queso were pretty good. I like that they lightly seasoned the chips. I was expecting the pork and chicken to have a big punch of flavor but it was really lacking. I liked the flour tortilla shells that were used but it would have been better if they had warmed the tortillas first. They do provide a generous serving of meat, but I would have liked more toppings on the tacos. Service was ok. They were able to move through the orders fairly quickly. If anyone is a germaphobe, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I saw he used the same gloves to grab your order card, stick it up near the window, prepare the chips and grab the tortillas. It wasn't that big of a deal but just a heads up if something like that were to bother you.

I got the Dr Pepper burger & an NA grapefruit IPA. The burger was very yummy, as were the fries that came with it. There was a casual sauce for the fries and I loved it. The beer was good, but not amazing. It wasn't made by Red Crow though, it was a can. I know Red Crow makes some top notch beers from visiting them previously, though. I just didn't want alcohol because I went in with a headache & it would have made it worse. Red Crow's ambiance was great, though. It's cute & quirky and very relaxed. Everyone in there seemed happy (staff included). I'll make my way back again in the fall if they have their chai stout back.

I happened to see this restaurant while leaving another business. I'm a huge fan of what I'd call…read more"hole in the wall" places. I mean that as a compliment. It's usually where I find great food. From the outside the building looks old but also traditional and pleasant. When I walked in, I felt joy at the updated interior with bright colors, a small seating area, and counter. I only saw Mexican people which also made me happy. I had placed my order online which I had made before running in to the other place I was going. It was ready when I arrived. I got a few a la carte items so I could try some variety. I got three tacos: one asade and one that was puerco in verde sauce and a birria. The birria was more expensive but the other 2 tacos were $2.85 each. I got one chicken and one beef empanadas. I loved that they came dressed with lettuce, tomato, and some avocado. I also got plantains with black beans. I shared everything with my partner who is Latin, not Mexican. He still appreciates Mexican dishes. The asada and birria tacos were very good. The puerco with verde was not what I had thought and was more of a pork skin coated with verde sauce. Very chewy and I'm not a fan of that kind of texture so I passed on tasting but my partner was happy to eat it. They have Taco Tuesday as well. I'm including a photo of the sign for that special! $1 less on each taco. They offer several other varieties of tacos. They are all what I would call street style which is my favorite style. Cilantro, onions, and you add lime and sauce if you choose. The empanadas were also good. Maybe a tad greasy but it's fried so... the flavors were good. I thought the beef one could have used more filling but they were fried to perfection. I absolutely loved the plantain and black beans dish. I was expecting green plantains (tostones) prepared to eat them with the beans. I got what I'd call maduros, with cheese and cream with a side of black beans. The maduros were so yummy! Perfection with the caramelization and the slightly melted cream and fine grated cheese. I inhaled these and did not share them! I wasn't sure exactly how to eat them with the beans but I mixed some of it and it was delicious. I want more of this! I spent slightly over $30 with a small tip, taxes, and a $1.75 convenience fee to order online. I might just go in to order in person next time because I don't love paying that fee. I was too busy eating my food when I got home and forgot to take photos! Sorry but that's usually a compliment to the restaurant because I'm enjoying my food too much to remember. I noticed they had a small van in the parking lot with their name on it so maybe they do some catering. Not sure but I'll definitely be back even though it's a bit out of the way for me.
