Crabcake appetizer

First time visit to a great eatery that been open for six years in Vero Beach. Our waitress who doubled as the bartender was extremely professional and very knowledgeable on all of the menu items and was very helpful with her recommendations. Anyone who has an expense account this has to be added to your list of restaurants for first impression and Client building relationships.

Went for lunch with 9 other ladies. Our resv was managed perfectly. Kaylee was our server and she was incredible and fantastic. All 10 said Kaylee was awesome, all were insanely happy with their food..no easy task! I had the steak chimmichuri pesto, the steak was so tender and the salad was delish! Some had chicken salad, BLTE, and other things all lived what they had. Cocktails were great! The place is eclectic, ambiance allows conversation. It was a perfect lunch!! Thank you Kaylee!! Gotta come and try dinner!!

River Twist is just great! Located in a smaller strip mall is this unassuming little place. Upon walking in you'll notice a clean inside, with booths and tables scattered throughout, and a huge bar on the back wall. We've been for both dinner and lunch, and both experiences were positive and quite tasty! The dinner and lunch menus are different, so i'll start with dinner first. Good wines, great cocktails, and delicious food. My husband is a huge chicken livers fan, and he loves these! I love their seared Ahi Tuna appetizer. It's fresh, and such a great take on a popular appetizer. The sauces, the presentation - perfect! The entrees are delicious, and the menu really has a great selection of dishes for everyone. Lunch is great too! We recently experienced lunch here, and the food is wonderful, the prices are right, and we would definitely return! My mom had a Shrimp Louie salad and I had the chicken salad club. The salad was fresh and she enjoyed! My sandwich was yummy also, and came with avocado, bacon, LTO, all served on a seeded multigrain bread. It was served with my choice of side (pork rinds, chips, or another option i forget!), cole slaw, a gerkin pickle, and with a cup of their daily soup. All was fresh and delicious! We will absolutely be back to River Twist for both lunch and dinner!

Where to begin.... We got the last reservation of the night and were very excited to finally try River Twist. The ambiance is great! Eclectic, fun, creative- lots to look at! The people could not be friendlier! Cara our server, Anthony, and Lorraine the owner were absolutely delightful and made this a lovely visit! Now, let's talk about the food... just YUM! The fried chicken livers were like taste bomb pillows! Cooked to perfection, tasty, lots of layers of flavor.... The lamb was amazing, perfectly done with a phenomenal sauce... and the tuna tataki was creatively presented with sesame soba noodles a slaw and a sauce that perfectly complemented the tuna - which basically melted in my mouth. For dessert, outstanding espresso and blueberry lemon crème brûlée. I mean.... I'm a bit of a crème brûlée aficionado, and this has to be one of the best I've ever had! Don't miss a chance to eat here. You won't be disappointed!

Went here to celebrate my moms birthday since she wanted lamb chops and they did not disappoint. Very good food and service. We had the mozzarella stack and crab cakes for starters, the lamb chops, seared beef tournedos, seared chicken breast for dinner. Everything was presented very nice and cooked well. Will definitely go again.

The food was delicious! The servers were super friendly and the vibe was great, it wasn't too loud or too quiet. The space is inviting, will definitely be returning.

Salmon

Fantastic services either a Scottish flair Smoked salmon tower was absolutely delicious and presentation was unique. Beef tournedos were so luscious I could cut them with my fork. The chicken livers were my wife's favorite. But crowning glory was three of us got bananas foster with the added white chocolate ice cream had everything except the flambé. Owner came over twice nicely to make sure all was good and we told her best dinner ever in entire Vero Area !!!

She lined up six different recommendations and every single one stood on its own. No filler pours, no "this one grows on you" nonsense. The Vermentino was crisp and stupidly easy to enjoy, and the Ca' Montebello was a standout. Balanced, interesting, and gone way too fast. The vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious. You can taste, ask questions, and actually enjoy the process without feeling rushed or talked down to. Vibe: About one block from the beach, this place is hidden on the main road. Nice and cozy, there was still plenty of seating and for our group. Locals and regulars kept stopping by to speak with the owner and check out the wines available (or say hello to her pup). You can tell this is definitely a great place to kick back and relax with a good glass of wine. Wine: There was a very good selection of wines available. Reds, whites, rose, and even a few beers, there was something for everyone. My wife and I had a glass of white wine from New Zealand. The wine was perfect. Service: We met Dana the owner and were extremely well taken care of! She was knowledgeable with the wines and extremely happy to with anyone who walked in. Overall this place was perfect for a quick glass of wine off of the beach or a laid back hangout with locals. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone give this place a try!

We arrived around 1:00 PM and happened to be the first people there, which was nice. The indoor ambiance is very casual. It's not really a place for large groups or gatherings, but it's great for a small group looking to grab a drink. Now for the service. Our server, who was also the bartender and chef, was incredibly accommodating, quick, and provided AMAZING service given the circumstances, so kudos to her. That said, she was the only person working in the entire establishment that day. While it was manageable when it was just our party, once more guests started coming in it was clearly overwhelming. She ultimately had to close the kitchen, which was understandable, but it happened before everyone in our group was able to order food. That left us in an awkward situation where we had to leave and go elsewhere so the rest of our party could eat. We still had a great time and enjoyed our drinks, and this is absolutely not a reflection on the server at all. This falls on management or ownership. Staffing only one employee the day after Christmas is something that really needs to be reevaluated. I genuinely felt bad for her.

The staff seemed happy and they probably have a core crew being a Mom n Pop establishment. We sat at the bar. There is one TV. The ambiance is dark Italian kinda romantic with dimmed lights. I should have ordered my second round when my boyfriend did because although the bar is only around 6 chairs, the bartender also works the service bar so if you don't get her when she asks, you'll be waiting. If that's so called broth was supposed to be their signature Italian sauce, then they might want to go to Carrabba's and see how marsala sauce is really supposed to be made. Paying $26.99 for that dish of broth is an insult to any customer.
