Small but very friendly cafe that serves breakfast and lunch after 11a. Quiet atmosphere even with guests. Many folks who come in are apparently regulars. I ordered lunch of 3 different salads on a small green and tomato. Excellent it was tuna salad, shrimp salad and imitation crab salad. My son had an omelette with 3 eggs and lots of filling hash browns toast and nothing was left on the plate. I took home leftovers. The coffee hot and exceptional! The last hurricane damaged the exterior so it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is homey and filled with a toucan paintings. Sunset serves a traditional breakfast and lunch. What is really great about the place would be the be the waitstaff and the price. You can always tell if the food is good and the price is right by who you see eating there. My sister and I found this hole in the wall spot when other breakfast places where busy. It's tiny, but the food gets brought out quick so tables rotate quick! The servers all greet you quickly and food gets brought out FAST! The food isn't expensive either, everywhere you go now prices going up- this place the price is still good for the food! Thank you ! It always has a fun feel inside too, it's got a tropical theme inside with parrots and things and then on the radio it'll be some older music playing. My husband and I didn't get to spend much time while I was in school the past year and a half, but we made a effort to have breakfast here every Sunday. We love this spot. read more

My husband really enjoyed his omelet and home fries, however, the grits were very bland. The server was super attentive which is a real plus. Even though it was only about 9:30 in the morning, I wanted lunch and unfortunately this restaurant doesn't serve lunch until 11. I wanted their menu item that was chicken salad on a toasted English muffin with bacon, so I really don't understand why that was not possible unless the chicken salad is made to order. So instead, I had the BLT which was good, but could have used another couple slices of bacon for how much it cost. I would recommend this restaurant if every one in the group wanted just breakfast or just lunch, but we likely won't be back because my husband enjoys breakfast and I prefer lunch. read more

Happened to see this cafe tucked between two other businesses in the shopping center at U.S. 1 and Oslo Road in Vero Beach, Fl. My husband and I went in and sat and we're almost immediately approached by a waitress. She brought menus and took our drink order. It was a little after noontime, and we ordered sandwiches and we both opted for the fresh fruit as our included side. Beautiful sandwiches and a sweet, fresh fruit salad. I couldn't finish my Ham and cheese sandwich it was so large. The whole I'll including the food and two sodas and tip was just about $30. Great food, great service and a great location. read more

I stopped in because I was in between appointments in the area. I ordered an omelette with spinach mushrooms tomatoes and provolone cheese also it came with hash browns with onions and rye toast. The omelette was something I don't like they cook the egg real thin and stuff it full of the ingredients instead of it being in the egg maybe my fault I just don't like that kind of an omelet. My hash browns came out very light hardly cooked at all. I am in the business so I didn't send anything back I didn't start any problems I just didn't eat I ate my toast I ate two forks full of omelette and a little bit of hash browns paid my bill and left. It took me a year and a half to convince my wife to go here, we went in for brunch on Sunday. We were seated promptly, got our coffee and water quick. Ordered. It was crowded with an eight top behind us so I thought it would take a while, 40 minutes later the waitress said we hadn't received our food because my wife had ordered a lunch item and they don't do lunch on Sunday.
