I don't understand so many negative reviews but the place must have changed because I have had great care. It's so hard to find a Dr. anymore and they got me in fairly quickly. The office staff are very helpful dealing with my pharmacy and insurer. I've never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Everyone is kind. Katherine Schoonover is great and has been a great help. I'm guessing these bad reviews are before some kind of change. So far I'm very satisfied. read more

I've never been there, but I know that Dr.William Brus just moved there, and he's extra an extraordinary PCP. And I do mean awesome. Even if the place has drawbacks like some of the other reviews are saying, I will go there just because it's him. I am shocked at the negative comments. I lived in Eugene for a year before finding them. No one else would take me because I am on Medicare. I had a very thorough initial consultation and was completely listened to. They took a lot of time with me and we went over everything. When I needed to get in for a concern they saw me that day. I was given referrals for all my needs. When I saw one establishment I was referred to they called me with the results before the establishment! I feel taken care of. This has been my husbands doctor for over a year we aren't from here but my brother said he went there so we gave it a try. It is very outdated they don't listen to their patients concerns at all. They state they schedule you to go to a specialist you wait a month and find out they never did. I also have a friend that stop going there because without even doing test they diagnosed her with Restless Leg Syndrome. I won't make the doctors but I would definitely do my research. read more

I have been a patient at this facility four years now. Currently looking for a new place. I now agree with all of the negative reviews. I was seeing a physician's assistant. She was wonderful so I put up with the lackluster care from the other nurses and the staff. I had problems getting call backs getting prescriptions filled and being notified about anything in a timely manner. When I would address these problems I was told that for whatever reason it was my fault. She left during Covid and every since then it has been downhill. Dr kablinska became my new doctor and he is sexist and outdated in his care. I say sexist because my husband went to him and was given immediate care with mri and meds. He refused all but one thing that my rheumatologist requested stating that he didn't feel it was necessary. She's a specialist at OHSU. He has delayed my treatment. I agree with all of the negative reviews do not go here if you need ongoing consistent care. I no longer feel comfortable addressing issues with them and have been avoiding going except to refill medication. read more

There has been quite a lot of turnover in this clinic since I was first seen there years ago, some of it due to COVID, some not. I've seen quite a few PAs and NPs there over the years and, for the most part, they have been excellent. They are efficient, kind, supportive and smart. My new provider, Dr. Kobliska, is a welcome breath of fresh air. I hope this clinic can stabilize and keep its employees around for a while; if I had a complaint it would be having to tell my story over and over to new people. But, I recommend this clinic for anyone who likes the simplicity of a small, calm organized and productive medical visit. read more

I challenge anyone to visit Tish Davis, PA-C, she is the best! 5 stars isn't enough to exemplify her care. She has always made me feel warm and comfortable. I have never felt I needed a second opinion or questioned her medical advise or medical decisions. I can not thank her enough for all the visits and medical advises I have had with her. She is the example of some one who take her job seriously and doesn't look at you like a patient, but a friend, she seems to really care about your well being. I will see Tish Davis till a take my last breath and just wanted to share that. She is the best PA-C in the world and I challenge anyone to that statement. read more

Sorry but this is a mean place. I went in to check on availability for new patients, but never got that far as first I had to ask if my 5 year old could use the bathroom. She was desperate.They were so rude about that, I did not bother with the rest. Who refuses a child a bathroom, even if it is not a registered patient? I agree w/ Laura R. One of the worst offices I have ever visited. The only good P.A. is Tish Davis, but my experience changed when they assigned me P A Dirk DeBroekert- for past 3 yrs. While I am not medical professional - I have plenty of experience from care giving and surviving cancer... I wonder how reviews here can be such opposing levels !? Fakes ? With severe hypertension I have been on meds for over 15 yrs. for me to travel to Dr apt I must drive 65-miles. So I cannot afford to run to P A DeBroekert often, or wait around and run out of the meds to refill either. I have run out of vital BP meds a few times - due to this poorly organized office. I have never seen the actual Dr - Buchanan. * The last time I was in for exam - had prior issues with foot , and had previously been referred to Podiatrist... So this was about my raging high blood pressure. When I attempted to discuss the foot issue with P A DeBroekert - he stated I had no problem, and it would be fine. I asked/expressed that it would need an addl procedure - PA Dirk argued and denied that - 'was rubbish'... He then really put his arrogant foot in his mouth, and staked his 35 yrs experience on that fact... He was wrong, and also lost ALL credibility by this 'malpractice' - since if he had been doing his job correctly - he would have realized that he was the one whom referred me to the Podiatrist - whom actually completely agreed with my suggestions of what procedure my foot will need.... We actually had 3 different visits that this arrogant ass argued with me. The last time I argued was the last straw - done with this place and Dirk DeBroekert. If he were not so arrogant, he would have recalled himself referring me, or he would have simple listened to his patient - he did neither... When I arrived there and they took my BP - it was high - over 160 , and I must ask this: What sort of medical professional argues with the patient, and when this obviously does me damage by an instant BP increase - I must have been hitting 190 + ! I told him maybe I should walk out now... Perhaps I should have dope slapped him - that is what he deserved really. Plain arrogant and inept. I am sure he does fine with seniors that never know anything, and follow whatever he says... Sorry but I am thinking and experienced. I honestly felt that if I continued with this medical establishment - I would die sooner. Office : I just called them to simply get some dates of office visits - they have about the most rude office receptionists. Snotty and condescending - surprising anyone puts up with this crap. I will get better care via lane county health ! Medicare is substandard, but we are human and deserve respect - I am much happier with lane County health. ON one occasion - I was having a hypertensive issue and BP was over 200 , I mentioned this to receptionist and that my meds/script needed to be refilled asap... 'Oh you'll have to come in to see Dirk-so he can approve your script again' _ been using this for over 15 yrs ! So I endangered my health again and to a higher level - due to this pathetic med care office. Many 'real Doctors' would have considered admitting me to hospital with this extreme reading I did not even get a call from PA DeBroekert - since there is obviously no communication with in that office. Someone explain how with holding medication or holding it ransom is good care to a chronic hypertensive patient ?? He also gave me conflicting info re BP prior. When I left that office the last time - I knew it was the last time I would go there. I was beyond annoyed, and felt like they do not care, and I even considered discontinued use of the meds I had on for over 15 yrs. Thus emotional damage that led to giving up on medical care all together. I went over a week with BP near 200/ 116. Pathetic 'Un-care' I have had better , faster , and kinder care in a few 3rd world countries ! The first time I visited this office - Dirk's nurse Debbie was rude and impatient with me, the next time it seemed like she was totally different - I don't trust people with dramatic mood swings and have to wonder what she is on, or what her problem was. None of this would even happen with quality medical professionals, and this place is only aligned to be compatible with seniors that ask nothing, and never think for them selves. I suppose if one is seeking medical malpractice - this is where to go, and perhaps if they are sued for malpractice that will be forced to change - good bye to pathetic non-care. Like I told my real Dr - I think this guy is losing it.... now I think he never had it to lose ! One more aspect - the place stinks - has bad air system as if the restrooms vent stink into the attic. I have mixed feelings about this office. You do not get to see an actual "doctor" but instead just a physicians assistant. I personally see Audrey Adams and my experience has been extremely frustrating. To explain my frustration fully, I'd have to go into my lengthy medical history, so I will try to summarize as best I can. After my experiences with the office over the last 6 months, it's hard not to go into a ranting tirade honestly. First of all, I have OHP for medical insurance. They assigned me to this particular office. I have been dealing with spinal issues for 10 years. I have never had a doctor or PA do so little...in fact, as little as humanly possible to get by...in all those 10 years. Her MO seems to be to get me back out of her exam room as quickly as possible. She doesn't fully listen to me, to the point she has forgotten to order part of my imaging and then was surprised when I asked why it was missing. She doesn't want to make any decisions about anything...instead saying it's my physical therapist's decision. Physical therapy says it's not their decision at all and it's all up to my doctor. And so it goes. She forgets to write or call in prescriptions after she's said she would take care of it. When I ask her medical questions, she sits right in front of me googling the same Web MD websites I have looked at on my own! Seriously?! It took her a FULL business week to fax my xray results to my physical therapist, and it only happened because I DROVE down to the office and made sure they wrote down a note. And today, when I called to see if she had indeed sent out the referrals for me like she said she would (shouldn't you be able to trust your doctor to do that without having to call and check up on them like a teenager on a date?) and the receptionist actually told me over the phone that they'd had a tragic loss in the office and it had slowed things down considerably. I'm sorry for your loss people, truly I am. But this is a medical office. People come here to get help. Desperate people like me, who are doing everything they can on their own to get better. Leave your feelings at home and do your job, or hire someone else that can do it. There is no excuse for the crap care I've received there. If all you need is a prescription written or a wound looked at, by all means give this office a go. I think they'd be fine for that. As for chronic pain or any other serious issue that is going to take multiple appointments and referrals to resolve, find another office. read more
