When you park and set everything up, the next person's septic hookup is literally right by your picnic table and grill, like a couple feet away. You can smell it, especially when it gets hot, and it's pretty nasty. The pool is overloaded with chlorine and most of the lights don't even work. I'd say around 70% of the lights are out, including the ones inside the pool, so it just feels poorly maintained. The bathrooms look like they haven't been updated in decades. Everything is worn down and cheap. Even something basic like a toilet paper holder isn't there, the roll just sits on a rail leaning against the wall. The dump area smells terrible, like rotting waste, and overall a lot of the park smells like cigarettes and septic. For $112 a night, it's honestly not worth it at all. This place feels like a 1 star at best and I definitely won't be coming back. Only positive thing I can say is the security guy was really nice.

There are only eight men that go to this class is very quiet. It's studying the Bible and yet the SOMEONE MANAGEMENT told us to leave. There's a reason why my wife and I left and there's a reason why so many people are trying to leave Cotton Lane resort. As nice as the resort looks, the MANAGEMENT drives it right into the ground. My wife and I are so happy to have left there and I'm sure there will be many more happy people once they leave. I'm sorry for this review however somebody has to say something.

As it's a short term spot, we did not have a picnic table, but we did notice on our walks that they appear to have some in other, lots, most likely for longer stays. We found the landscaping to be very well maintained! make sure to bring your longer cables and such as the pedestal is quite a distance from the back of the pad, however, they do have a rule that your RV must be at least 26 feet long (we are a tad longer), so hopefully your cord is long enough if you have one our size. Ours was long enough with no slack. Everything operated correctly and we really appreciated the fact they put us in a slot where we didn't have neighbors directly next to us so it was a nice quiet week. My favorite spot was the pool and my pictures simply do not do it justice because it was busy all the time with pool volleyball, water, aerobics, and such . The chairs are very comfortable and they were very attentive to ensuring everything was in order when people left. I posted the schedule for the week, but there are tons of things going on here! We did go over to the bar and grill at the golf course but it was a little awkward as you have to leave the park And then come back in, lol. It would've been a lot easier just walking over there. We didn't have time to try any of the food but we did have a glass of wine and a beer and the total was $10 so pricing is very reasonable and the bartender, Pepsi, was super friendly. They do have some type of bar and grill that they open when there are events in and around that area but nothing that was open on a regular basis It really is a large park and there are a lot of different mini communities. It seemed as it looks like they had a new section every so often. It looks like they were beginning new construction for yet another neighborhood. There are also a lot of areas to just relax and sit with a group around the fire pit or chat. We noticed there were folks sitting in circles with instruments having a jam session as well as people putting puzzles together, reading books, and just in general having fun. They seem to have a very strong social network We did order a propane refill and honestly, the guy was one of the nicest people we've ever had out for service! Super easy we called the day before and they swing through the neighborhood and fill at the appropriate time assigned There is some noise from nearby, Luke Air Force Base, so just be prepared for that All in all, we had a really nice experience, and would definitely return! Two bathrooms with showers. Laundry room. The washers are really small; I could normally do a load of laundry but it took 3 loads. At $2 a load that added up. I was able to get all three wash loads into the dryer to give you an idea of how small the washing machines are. But I didn't have to go off-site and was able to go back to my RV to wait out the cycles. Showers are nice but smallish. Navy showers were the best way. There's a level walking path outside the back gate along a canal. Great place to get your steps in and let your pets have a good walk. We didn't try to use the tv. The WiFi was solid. Not every site has a picnic table. In fact neither of ours did. Space 8 and space 13. Others did. They do not sell ice but there is a Fry's grocery about 2 miles away. Others have complained about the motorcycle noise. We were out and about during the day so it didn't bother us. When we were leaving today at about 10 AM I could hear the motorcycle engines revving. I guess it would bug you if you are in the park all day but it didn't affect us. I would stay here again

Any issue I've had has been swiftly addressed with kind professional caring respect. The rv sites are large and clean. The only gripe I would have is the lack of respect fellow campers have when it comes to cleaning up after their dogs. If I were to request big changes.... Open pool from 7am-10pm, more palms, offer covered spots (like the KOA in Tucson) , and find a way to In force guests cleaning up after their dogs.

Facilities are kept clean and I have seen annual upgrades to the park that have been substantive and of benefit to all residents. The parks proximity to shopping in Surprise, Arrowhead and Glendale Entertainment districts with their Restaurants, Stadiums and recreation opportunities make it a ideal spot. Trips out of town ae made easier with its proximity to the 101, which connects to either I17 or I10 and Grand Avenue down the Street the it's time to head to Vegas for a weekend getaway , lol. All in all the management does it's best to address common issues in the park and some of their programs like the Tuesday night Food Trucks that visited the park all through the summer, monthly outings and breakfast are great. The park has a resident council that puts out a monthly newsletter and calendar so events are easy to participate in. The Park also offers a large Recreation Clubhouse with Library, Pool tables and big screen Tv's for Game Days. Secure Mailboxes and an on site office with free notary are a plus. The heated pool has been a wonderful benefit always clean and comfortable and music plays in the background 24/7. Friday night Bingo in the Clubhouse is open to the public and has become a fine event drawing a regular crowd. So in a complicated world I enjoy life here at Apollo village and feel confident recommending it to anyone looking for alternative housing in a ever more difficult world for seniors.

She's essentially trying to strong arm us out of our trailer by not allowing us to submit a payment or sell it.
