    Fantastic spring training.
    Susanne R.

Spring training to be near the Dodgers. Not a lot of options. If you are RVing you will be at the very end of the respite, which is predominantly full time manufactured homes. Well kept park. There are no toilet facilities in the RV park section. Lots of places to walk your dog. You can see abundant wildlife in the canyon. Tons of quail in the morning and early evening. Not a fantastic amenities-filled resort, but they have a nice restaurant, music and a tiki lounge. If Covid calms down and we can get back to Surprise for spring training this is where we will stay. Very centrally locates to ballparks, shops and restaurants.

Oh my god. The trash trucks are horrible. They come with a new trash bin, drop the new bin, pick up the old bin, drop the old bin, pick up the new bin, drop the new bin in the trash area, then pick up the old bin and leave. 1 1/2 hours of the trash truck running, Revving up, banging, revving up, banging. Absolutely no consideration. Twice in 4 days. The old people must take there their trash for something to do. My god, people are dropping off trash from 7:00am until 9:00pm (their bedtime I guess), it never ends. Trash lids banging, cars and golf carts literally lined up all day/ nightlong. Saturday, the trash company" broke the compactor. Hydraulic oil all over. 3 hours! Trash trucks, maintenance trucks, all running, you can't go outside because of the noise. What does the front desk say? "Oh well." This place could care less about the RV's. They care about the mobile home tenants, that's all. Poor water pressure, they put the RV's where the "pet walk" (I.E. dog pee and dog poop is) area. Every person in the mobile home park has 2 things. Trash and pets. I do not recommend for your own sanity and health. Poor customer service and poor RV area.

Staff as nice as pie, and a crazy number of cable channels, but for over $60/night, one would expect a LEVEL pad.

I am extremely disappointed with how management handles customer property damage at this resort…read more While parked at The Wigwam, a stray golf ball from the nearby course struck the trunk of my 2025 Lexus ES 350, leaving a significant dent. There are no "park at your own risk" warning signs posted anywhere in this parking area. I immediately reported the damage to security, who came out and filed an official incident report. I was assured that the Director of Operations, Sheffield Crosby, would reach out to me the following Monday with the results of their investigation. It has been complete radio silence ever since. Despite leaving voicemails and sending an email, management refuses to return my calls, acknowledge the incident, or address my concerns. It is incredibly frustrating that a resort of this caliber simply sweeps incidents like this under the rug and pretends they never happened once you leave the property. If you are visiting or staying here, be highly aware that your vehicle is at risk of damage from the golf course, and the leadership team will completely ignore you when it happens. Park at your own risk, because management certainly won't take any responsibility. TO THE OWNER: no need to reply with a "we are disappointed," "we are committed to customer service," or similar generic comments. You had plenty of opportunities to make this right.

At 30 years old, this was my first time ever staying at a hotel by myself, outside of business trips. I grew up with overprotective parents, and because of this, I always think to myself that I'm not allowed to travel anywhere out of state on my own (obviously I am). As someone being in a different state alone that looks younger than their actual age, I felt safe in this particular area. Since this was a short trip for me, I wasn't looking at staying at a fancy hotel. Room stayed in: 323, a queen room facing the pool area. Pros: +Conveniently located across the street from State Farm Stadium +Walking distance to many retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment sites +Close to my friend/former coworker's apartment complex +Digital key available through the Hilton Honors app +Comfortable bed - I slept quite well both nights +Kitchenette available, including microwave and fridge/freezer combo +Quick check in and check out +Little to no highway noise +Free continental breakfast +Fitness center +Free water upon check in Cons: -No streaming services available on TV I had some trouble getting the TV to work on my first night. I thought it was broken and I almost requested to change rooms, but then I realized that the HDMI cable was unplugged from the TV, so that solved the problem. I didn't come to Glendale just to watch TV and I would be away from my room for the majority of my trip, but I do like to fall asleep with the TV on, just like a little white noise kind of thing for me. Overall, I had an excellent stay here. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Glendale!

We already bought something and we can't upgrade and they get upset. But our room was cute like a small one bedroom apartment. We enjoyed our staying we walked around the whole resort. There's a lot of stuff to do. Just make sure you bring extra money. We are going back so we can enjoy other things that they have since we only stayed on the weekend. The guy was super friendly. We really enjoyed our time besides the guy who got mad at us for not upgrading our timeshare. We got a $75 gift card for buying a timeshare but the guy just gaved us the gift card and walked away and didn't say much to us after we refused to upgrade. Other than that resort was nice.

There are so many negative reviews that I was a little concerned. But our room was updated, clean, and everything was in working order. The pool was amazing, with a slide, and a huge hot tub. A lot of the negative reviews were about the owner updates, which we always opt out of. I will say that they called three times before our arrival to see if we would like to have an update while we were there. I said no, so eventually they got the hint. So I can see them being aggressive. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that. The resort is beautiful, but there isn't much to do right around it. Most activities would require going to Phoenix which is about 40 mins away. Just keep that in mind when planning. We enjoyed our stay at this resort.
