The guy that took my order was very nice. He didn't rush me which was nice. When I went to get my drink at the drink station there were no lids for cups so we had to ask for them. They refilled at that point. They just needed someone to take care of the dining room. I ordered the BLT no lettuce because I'm not eating lettuce right now. IYKYK! It was a good sandwich. First let's discuss the crust. It doesn't taste like a traditional Italian pizza crust. Is that a bad thing? Absolutely not. It was a cross between a pizza crust and pastry dough and it was super yummy. I could eat it by itself and be happy. The Smother's Park was a good meat combo pizza and then there was the mashed potato pizza. Okay, it's odd but I must admit really enjoyed it! Also, the garlic knots are worth getting.

In response to Patricia since the google review wasn't enough (I've seen her on multiple platforms)…read more It's always interesting when someone has to keep rewriting the story because the truth apparently wasn't dramatic enough the first time. You're certainly entitled to dislike the food, dislike the hours, or leave a negative review. What you're not entitled to do is turn assumptions into accusations and present them as facts. Claiming you were "pretty sure" your chicken was cat isn't a legitimate criticism it's an accusation based on absolutely nothing. And repeatedly telling a story doesn't magically make it true. As for the comment about the "little English" spoken at the restaurant that says considerably more about you than it does about the people working there. Mocking someone's English or implying that the quality of their food should somehow be connected to how much English they speak is unnecessarily rude, ignorant, and completely irrelevant to your complaint. And the outrage over being turned away five minutes before closing is certainly something, especially when the business has already explained its policy. You may not agree with the policy, but acting as though being told "no" at closing time is some shocking personal offense doesn't make your version of events any more convincing. You've made your opinion clear. You didn't like the food, you didn't like the service, and apparently you didn't like the answer you received afterward either. At some point, continuing to repeat the same story starts looking less like "holding a business accountable" and more like being determined to get the last word. Hopefully, now that you've had your say several times, you can move on. Not every restaurant is going to meet your expectations and not every business is required to change its policies just because you're unhappy with them. Oscar, me and my family love you guys, we love the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. I am so sorry you guys have to deal with people like her.

The master of sandwiches who took my order recommended the smokehouse grilled cheese. It was a perfect suggestion It had beautiful texture, the perfect balance of meats to cheese to bread, and sauce. It was piping hot and every bite of this sandwich was enjoyed. I usually enjoy the middle of a sandwich but this one was nice from end to end. I actually took my time to enjoy this in little bites rather than scarfing it down. They were also kind enough to let me sample a slice of their bread which was really good. They have a variety of flavored butters and a good amount of loaves, cookies, and things that looked good. The vibe of this place is pretty cool. It is clean and the music is chill, and I super appreciate that they take good care of the restrooms. I've already lined up my next meal here. It'll be a tomato bisque soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. But of course you knew this. You were probably going to order the same and I dont blame ya. It'll be fantastic. I already know!

Well heck, I am a healthy man with a strong appetite for delicious food. Why not order both? I can handle it. Out came the Spam Musubi. A block of rice topped with a fried egg (a buck extra... heck yeah) and a slice of fried Spam. All stacked beautifully together like Legos and hugged by a nori blanket. I take my first bite and oh my goose nest!!! The spam is covered in caramelized teriyaki sauce. I've probably eaten these a million times but this was new and pretty special. A small variation of flavor and texture from what I was expecting and it made it more enjoyable. So I killed the musubi and out comes my loco moco. The food covered every bit of real estate on the plate. I was caught off guard and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Surely I could finish my dish. My palms were sweaty. Knees weak, arms were heavy. Can I perform? Screw it. Just grab the fork and start. Cucumber salad. Start on the green stuff. Oh my goose nest! It's good. Cool and sweet. Refreshing. Taste the pasta salad. Yummy as well. Loco Coco time. A bed of rice topped with onions, burger patty, sunny side up eggs, and smothered in brown gravy. Oooooh. I love it. This dish brings back so many memories. Takes me to the Pacific Ocean. I grub down with island vibe music jamming in the background. My server checks in on me and treats me well. And then it happens. I'm super full. I'm only half done with my loco moco. Failure hits me hard. I'm dining alone and this isn't an eating contest. Well heck. Just like that... I feel great! So what if I couldn't finish my food. It was a massive portion! Try it for yourself if ya be so bold.
