Came in for a pedicure left within 5 minutes of my visit. I was preparing to put my foot in the water when I noticed particles already floating around. When I shined the flashlight from my phone I noticed what it appears to be dead skin floating around in the water. When I asked the pedicurist about it she told me she put a blue tablet in the water. I explained a blue tablet shouldn't cause particles in the water. After requesting for fresh water I was denied. I kindly got up and left. The staff is nice. However, my "gel" nail polish started chipping after three days. I have regular polish on my toes and it is not chipped.

It is so much nicer here! The place is so relaxed and not have people walking back and forth. Manicurists do not feel hurried and do not need to rush to get to the next customer. Very very nice ambience. Organized and clean. Each chair has a back massager that can be controlled by the customer. Sooo nice. They did a very very good job on the pedicure too! Highly recommend! It was 6:07pm and their hours has 10-7 and when we walked in they stated they were closing. How unprofessional? I will never go there again.

This place is a total scam. They offer pedicures at a regular price that does not include getting your feet scrubbed. If you want your feet scrubbed you have to pay extra. All because my nails have a natural curve and I wanted a straight tip she says, " $5 extra." At some point this has to end and the prices listed should be the prices charged unless the small print specifies otherwise. Total gimmick. This nails salon is for an older audience ,so that they charge them however they want. The salon speaks English the whole time until something is not to your liking, then they start speaking in their language. STAY AWAY!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I visited here Saturday for a full set and a pedicure. When I entered, each of the workers were busy with other clients and they gave me an approximate wait time of 5-10 mins. I was seated and started within the stated window. Service-wise, I would give this location a 4.5. They were very polite and truly aiming to please. It felt like every few minutes they were asking for my approval to proceed. While this is a bit much and overwhelming for what should be a relaxing experience, I understood the underlying goal- to provide great service. Now the quality is completely different. If I could rate the quality of their work I would probably give 2.5 to 3. The nails are not shaped very well and I had to come home and buff out many of the concerns myself. The polish was mediocre and I had to pay attention and call out the spaces that remained unpolished. While they are very nice, the quality of the nails outweighs service for me and this has left me continuing to explore for a nail shop I can call my own. read more

I got my nails done here by Stephanie yesterday and wasn't pleased. The workers aren't friendly- AT ALL. Usually some of the nail techs make conversation, but not here. My daughter told me there were 11 spiders- yes she counted- on the ceiling. If I had noticed that I would've left right away. My nails look so basic and I'm not pleased. Supposed to be round but these are a boxy wide square shape, they did nothing to clean up my cuticles. The only thing i like was the dip powder. 7/26 Update: Jennifer did my nails beautifully. I just left and it was an amazing service. I had a manicure (without polish, I'm not allowed to wear at my job) and a basic pedicure with regular polish. The salon had a calm, soothing, relaxing vibe. One woman did my pedicure and the other one did my manicure. They were both amazing, particularly with massage portion. Today's service reminded me why I don't come here. Came in for the simplest request: mani shellac with a twist of the famous French nail. I showed the picture, manicurist said yes I can do that, so I waited for her & then she takes a different client and gives me a different tech. I asked can you recreate this (showed her the picture) yes ma'am- false. My cuticles are jacked up, shellac is bubbled over my skin, I had her removed the French tip BC it was sloppy. It's an hour in a half later & another tech revises work: what's wrong, why don't you like?! Kidding me right - I'll fix it. I have not been comfortable with getting a pedicure since COVID-19 so I have not had one since February. I have really missed getting my monthly pedicure - not only is it relaxing but it helps the circulation in my leg and helps to ease my feet pain (I have nerve damage from a stroke). I did my research and decided to give them a try and I'm SO glad I did! They are taking so many COVID precautions, everything was very clean, nicely decorated, the technicians were friendly, and prices are great. Worst "professional" manicure ever, I could have done a better job myself at home. Maybe I was unlucky and got a newbie, but my nail technician took forever (I've had gel manicures done way faster), and yet still managed to make my nails uneven. The top coat was noticeably off, I could see the lumpy edges from where it didn't cover the bottom layer of color. $25 is also quite pricey for a basic manicure, if only I'd taken the time to properly inspect my hands before paying, I would have insisted on a re-do! Ritz Nails is very clean with great presentation. However, if you ask for a manicure and pedicure its a possibility that you will not get the manicure in a timely manner. They are very lax on making sure you get all of your requested services. This has happened on two different occasions. If you ask about the requested service they can be very rude. read more

Tried this place for the first time today because my nail shop had a long wait. The decor and visual appearance of the salon is very cute! However, customer service isn't great. Same did my pedicure and she was pretty rude. She had gotten a little bit of polish on my skin so I politely showed her and she yelled "I know!" and then rolled her eyes and started speaking in a different language to her colleagues. She also put the hot towel on my leg and it was wayyy too hot. She walked away before asking me if it was too hot so I had to take it off my self and wave it down to cool it down. You would think with a name like Ritz their quality would be better. That is clearly not the case. I had a dip manicure on Saturday and by Sunday morning one nail had already cracked. I went back and they graciously redid that one name. Ok cool. Then the next day another one cracked. I don't do any manual labor or have my hands in water excessively. Before even a week passed all of my nails are a mess. I will not be going back here. It was a complete waste of money. When I get my nails at Sweet Moments my dip lasts a solid three weeks. BEWARE!! This shop is pretty But THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE IN Pearland location! The Manager is extremely impossible to reach...they tell you leave your name if she or when she comes in the shop ..they will tell her call you....BUT THEY CALL HER AND CAN REACH HER IF NEED BUT the MGR tells them to tell customers leave number! Stephanie one of the nail technician is good when it come to nails BUT if you have appointment with her GOOD LUCK because i had a 10 am appointment with Stephanie (i was told Stephanie is Mgr family member) but when i got to the shop ...i was told that Stephanie said come back at 1pm (are you fu$king kidding me... what i found out later from several friends that Stephanie does this on regular basis.... they no longer us her as there technician or most no longer go to the shop!) after strongly insisting to speak to MGR/OWNER (after being given one lame excuse after another..she finely called the pearland store) ....after explaining this is a extremely unprofessional way to run a business... she agreed.. then apologize and begged me to give her shop a second chance and let her Best technician Donna do my nails...i agreed even though i didn't leave until 12:30 but at least nail where good and Jennifer is always the best on feet (she has the sweetest personality)...I continued to use Donna and Jennifer no problem ..(when i would go to the shop Stephanie would be rude...as if she didn't like that i complained on her to Mgr for not keeping my app't...) I would ignore her and i referred another friend to the Donna and Jennifer but this time Donna is unavailable to do nail because she is preparing to getting married out the country and will be gone for a month or 2 ....i was told Stephanie would have to be the next best technician ( my friend agreed she would take a chance on Stephanie hopefully showing up on time) so my friend met with Stephanie she did a good job on her chrome nails but once she found out i referred this customer her attitude became extremely rude and angry to the new customers ..unbelievable.. but Jennifer was sweet as usual... when my friend ask to speak to Mgr/Owner again given run around told her to leave message and if or when she comes in they will tell her....unbelievable....when on my own i was able to track down MGR/OWNER at 281 394 5664.....after many messages..finely spoke with her ..i explained i have proof about Stephanie nasty unprofessional way...she said she believed me but did not want to hear and see proof But instead has spoken to Stephanie several times about her nasty attitude and there is nothing she can do because she can not make Stephanie be professional to the customers!
