I evaluated several different companies but decided to give S-n-H Superior Laundry a try because I felt their flat-rate prices were the most competitive. I also liked that I didn't have to subscribe or commit to weekly service since I don't always need to wash clothes every week. Although they do offer repeat service if you want your clothes laundered on a schedule. I was able to quickly sign up and I was pleased to discover that they use the same detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets that I do. They even offer scent beads, color boosters, stain remover, and starch at no extra charge, also the same brands and fragrances that I use at home. My clothes were picked up the very next day with no fuss. Since this was my first instance using S-n-H I sent my clothes in a large, black garbage bag. I just left them on the porch and the driver retrieved them there. No doorbell ringing, or awkward handoffs. For those who may be wondering, they do offer same day service, but I didn't need mine that quickly. When I got my clothes back today, I was THRILLED with the results! They returned in a HUGE sturdy, re-usable bag with a large shoulder strap to make it easy to carry. This was the large size bag ($35) and you can fit a LOT into it, which makes it well worth the price. The clothes were neatly folded with no wrinkles. They wrapped each bundle in plastic to keep the clothes from unfolding or getting mixed up during transit. They even separated my clothes from my son's and put the towels/wash cloths in their own bundle, which will make putting them away that much easier. I felt that this step in particular went above and beyond, like they were thinking about the customer every step of the way. The clothes smelled amazing; just like they do when I pull them from the dryer here, only I didn't have to do any of the work I normally do. If you're looking to save time, or in my case pain, from having to do laundry at home, I highly recommend S-n-H! Their flat fee of $25 for small bags or $35 for large ones is more than competitive. Some specialty household items, like bedding, are charged separately, but those prices are also fair. And they don't measure by weight so you're not left guessing how much each load will cost. They use all the name-brand laundry products you'll find in the stores, and I really feel like they go the extra mile for their customers. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

I leveraged this service multiple times and on multiple occasions issues arose, whether it be a missed delivery date, even though the date was confirmed in writing and via the app, getting my clothes back with cleaning fluid stains or adding specific notes about needing stains on clothes to be treated and getting those clothes returned with the same stains on them, which in my opinion, tells me they completely ignored or didn't care about the notes they confirmed in writing prior to pickup, which aligns with my view that the customer service is mediocre at best and apathetic at worse. Whenever problems arose I would eventually hear back from customer service (with no sense of urgency on their part) and the dance would begin back and forth (wasting more of my time) before ultimately given a "credit" and then having to take more time to have the clothes re-serviced to fix the issue caused by their company in the first place. The whole point of my using this service was the hope of saving time, but in the end, I would have been better served in my opinion by going to any basic mid-level brick and mortar dry cleaner, even if it meant having to sit in traffic on 77 and 485, as the time spent sitting in traffic would still have been less than the time I wasted dealing with the multiple issues from this "service" that was neither convenient or time-saving in the end. Even after giving them multiple chances, I will cut my losses and go back to the mediocre hit or miss brick and mortar dry cleaning scene here in Charlotte, leaving my remaining credits to eventually fade away on the island of irrelevancy with all the other businesses that had a solid concept but poor service and execution in the end. When I went back, the owner took it, had it for a week, and then returned it to me in the same horrible shape - short and misshaped. The curtains are high quality Crate & Barrel products. The first red flag was when I came to pick up my curtains on the day DC said they were going to be ready; the curtains were not ready. I had to leave and come back the following day. When I got there, I was unpleasantly surprised with the actual price of the services, which was 30% higher than what was originally quoted to me. That was the second red flag. The worst was yet to come - once I brought the curtains home, I realized that one was short and misshapen. I drove back to Dynasty Cleaners. One week later, I picked up the curtains, and one panel was still completely ruined. All in all, I made 4 trips to this place and paid $120 for the services that ruined my $500 curtains. Don't go there!
