This place is absolutely amazing! The price for wash is fold is hard to beat and their turnaround time is usually 24 hours to same day! Everyone is nice and friendly. They fold everything to perfection, as well as how clean your clothes will smell. I went here every week for the past 3 months and will miss seeing the people who work there. Please go to this place and become apart of their family. read more

Just left Maggie's on Friday 4/15 @1:50. Walked in to see if they had a washing machine big enough for my comforter. Walked around then came to a lady sitting down behind some plexi glass. Said hi to her I got nothing. Said it again thinking she didn't hear me the whole while staring at me. Then she threw up as a hand as in I was bothering her. Asked if this was the only big size machine she had. She still said nothing and just nodded her head. Clearly she didn't want my service. So I came down the street and gave them my money. Do not waste your time here. With such horrible service. To be bothered by someone who is given support to your business is beyond me. read more

Clean facilities and great customer service. The staff is very helpful and polite. The change machines are always full and operational.

the manager is very rude. she was disrespectful towards me and my family. She rushed us out when we were just about to leave and because of that we left some of our stuff there, my brother had to go the next day to go get the stuff, and thankfully we were able to get it back. But other than that the dark skin lady with glasses was still very rude towards my mom, treated her very poorly, and was just very disrespectful in general. read more

Awesome service very friendly and great job on wash and fold, thank you. Great value all around professional service and work.

Unbeatable care is shown by the manager for her clients. she does an exceptional job in wash/fold/hanger service, but besides that she is a great source for how to clean items. you can't beat the wash/fold/hanger service price. read more

horrible manager. We went in to check out the machines since it was our first time and we just wanted to see how it works and one of the managers there was so RUDE! And started yelling at me, my dad and brother. She kept asking us if we needed help and we politely said we are good just checking the machines and she kept insisting and started yelling at us, i didn't grab her name but she needs help. read more

I dropped off my two dog blankets in a smaller washing machine and left to go next door to purchase doggy treats. However, when I returned to the washer I only had one blanket. I told one of the staff members what happened and he said to me" I remember opening your washing machine but I don't remember seeing two blankets but we can run the cameras to see what happened." But he left! So now I know who took my blanket! What are you doing looking in my washing machine? If you go there please stay and watch your stuff!!I read more

Very clean, friendly environment. All the employees I met today were super super nice and very professional... Thank you for all you do...

I went here ONCE, put my laundry in a machine, and timed it so that I could return in time to take it out. Why? Because I had other errands to run, so why sit for a half hour doing nothing right? I return maybe a minute or two after my time was up to find my machine empty! So I ask where is my stuff? They point to a cart. So I'm like, why did you take my clothes out when the laundry mat is practically empty? There's no one waiting for a machine, and 97% of the machines were empty, it wasn't close to closing time or anything, so why remove my things? All I got was attitude and no valid explanation, so I vowed NEVER to go back there! To me, I feel like they went thru my things to see if there was something they wanted to steal, because what other reason would you have to remove my things? And judging by these comments, I see their shady biz practices are the norm. read more

It was so many other washers open I hate knowing my clothes might have been messed with. It had my work clothes and my daughter's clothes. This experience made me feel very uncomfortable the manager didn't really give me an explanation to why it was touched just pointed to my basket. same situation very rude old lady said she the owner then said her daughter the owner then said the old man the owner. a bunch of old lying fucks read more

The most helpful, kind and caring staff! Exceptional wash, dry, fold service. I would highly recommend!

I HIGHLY recommend, Maggie's!! I have been a regular customer for over 4 years and I wish I could give them more than 5 Stars. I have gotten to know the family on a business level and much more. This is one of the safest and well maintained establishments. I have yet to see the excessive of broken or faulty equipment. "Ghetto" no ma'am. Family friendly, YES. The management good to enforce the rules and the supervision of children and younger people in the area. Many thanks for all you do for me and the community. Bless You read more

My first time here!! I was greeted at the door with a smile. Excellent customer service. I will definitely return. The washer and dryers were modern and it was very clean. The dryers are hot!! Don't go on a Sunday thinking you're going to get in and out! It was very very crowded. I opted to leave and try another less busy and quieter spot. read more

I would give this place 5 stars only if they had better weekday hours. My days off during the week are currently Tuesday/ Wednesday so waiting until 10am sucks, when on the weekend they open at 8am. The place is very nice, clean. The gentleman working today was very friendly and answered my questions about the dryers. They have drink vending machine, sitting area, 2 flat screen tvs, change machines. They also offer wash, dry, & fold service. O, and they sell basic detergents, fabric softener, laundry bags, and snacks behind the counter. The prices for the washing machines and dryers are as follows; Small $2 Med $3 L $4.25 XL $6.25 XXl $8 Dryer Double stacks .25 for 7 min Large .25 for 5 min read more

I was very impressed with this place. The staffs kept clean. And they are efficient with all that they do there. If you don't have time to wash and fold. The staffs will do it for you, at a cost of course.. But since my washer broke down on me. This will be where I go to get my laundry done. And I couldn't been happier. Mind you, I have been going to laundry mat since I was little up to the age of 16 and most of my college days.. And I don't remember it being this nice. The door was automatic. Staffs was alway around. You use a coin machine instead of loading your money on a card. A nice sitting area to read and watch tv! Plenty of carts to use for shuffle your laundry around. There's a soda machine for your needs. And if you're out of detergent. You can buy it from them.. Couldn't ask for a better place to wash your clothes! read more

This is the best laundromat I've ever been to. Nobody likes to do laundry, but I don't mind when I come here. The appliances, bathroom, and facility are always clean. The staff here is exceptional. Last week when we were leaving it was pouring down rain. The gentleman that was working helped us take the clean laundry to our car so it wouldn't get wet. Tonight we were assisted by Jamie and Tiffany. I don't know them personally, but they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I highly recommend this laundromat. read more

Dropped off some linens, and towels to be washed. They charged us for two comforter prices when they were mattress covers, which are equivalent to a fitted bedsheet. Otherwise, aside from the unexpected higher price. The clothes seem to be cleaned well. They didn't give us the prices ahead of time. The price is given at pick up. read more

I recently just moved to CLT and this was the first laundromat that came up on Maps. I must say I was impressed! One of the employees noticed me walking up with my laundry and greeted me at the door with a smile and buggy for my clothes. On top of that, they have modern washers and dryers in different load sizes! My clothes were done in a timely matter and the customer service was excellent! I will definitely be back. Thank you again. read more

I'm begging you, do not come to this ghetto dump. The people who run it are clearly taking advantage of people who can't go somewhere else for whatever reason. Would love to give it no stars these ghetto pieces of trash. The machines all eat your money and they act like they have no clue what's going on. I should've figured it out when I see the people fixing the machines as they're being used because everything here is broken or going to break. Go anywhere else. read more

I came to Maggie's to wash a large comforter and I am very impressed. I was shown which washer and dryer would be best - as well as the change machines - very personal service. It is very clean, fun music, great atmosphere and the employees work hard helping the customers and keeping everything clean. One fellow came right behind me and wiped out the washer I used to make it pristine foe the next customer. Best laundromat ever! read more

We use Maggie's Coin Laundry for our cleaning business. Everything is washed thoroughly, folded neatly, and repackaged for us to pick up the next day. The location is well managed, and clean. The attendants are always available to answer any questions or provide assistance as needed. There are televisions in several areas as well as a seating area. Everyone is helpful, & friendly. We love the laundry service! read more

The only place in Charlotte to get your laundry clean. Everytime I have gone there, I am greeted by staff, helped with the machines, given a wheeled laundry basket to move from washer to dryer and tonight was the best music ever - a bit of soul, home-town rock and roll. Thanks for a great experience. read more

I travel all over the country, spend 240 nights a year in hotels. Often I have to visit laundromats and spend tons of time researching the best one that fits my needs. Those are friendly service, running appliances and clean store. This place exceeds every other laundromat I've visited anywhere. If I'm in the area again I will be back! Going to a laundromat was an out of body experience; because it's been a minute since I've been it one. The reason I'm giving this place 5 star is the ownership. When I was good and ready to leave my car didn't start. I went inside to ask for help and the manager was more that willing to help. In 5 mins I was one my way. Thank you Maggie for all your help. They are really good people still doing wonderful things to help others. read more

Came into this laundromat for the first time to wash a large comforter. I'm not all that familiar with laundromats, therefore I was not really sure what to do. The owner was extremely kind, patient and helpful! He answered all my questions and even helped show me which size washer and dryer to use, which cycle to select and even gave me a few extra quarters when I was short (without my asking). The facility was very clean, good sized seating area, flat screen televisions, and even vending machines. I would recommend this place to everyone! Very pleasant experience. read more

I'm going to keep it short and simple. It's clean, the employees are very helpful and informative , washer/dryers are reasonably priced. If you want them to wash dry and fold it is $1.25 a pound. Which I would recommend, especially if your just vacationing. The building is new. The area looks clean and safe. They do not have a ATM but the dollar general next door does. They have 3 televisions, a seating area lots of laundry baskets for you to use and tables all around to fold your laundry. Overall I had a great experience doing my laundry here average machine runs 30 minutes washing and 30 minutes drying. So when you go to the dryer and see .25 cents for 5 minutes make sure you add 6 quarters for the full 30 so your clothes will be dry. read more

Always clean and staff is helpful! It's in the same strip as Family Dollar, so everything is convenient!

Omg...do NOT go in there!! Especially if you are white! My fiancée and I went in there today with our service dog to wash his bed..qe drove all the way from Lake wylie because it has good ratings, is clean and I have had several great/helpful service experiences in there before. We were harassed, threatened, cussed at, had the police called on us, one male employee grabbed my when I leaned over the counter to look for a business card. This woman did not like us, or the dog I'm not sure, we were told to get the fuck out of there and physically threatened. We did NOTHING to deserve this!! The black woman behind the counter claimed to be the owner. She gave no reason for why she would not allow us to go about our business. The screaming, cussing and horrible attitude toward us was not about the dog, it was a clearly a racially motivated act. Three black people or more ganging up on us, humiliating us in front of everyone. I have never gotten this from any previous employees there, but previously, it was staffed by several different Hispanic or white employees that were kind and helpful. These people had NO REASON to treat us this way or discriminate against us for either race or having a service dog. read more

I recently moved to the Charlotte area and needed to find a laundromat close to my apartment. Maggie's Coin Laundry was the closet location I found and I have been very pleased. The facilities and machines are very clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have gone at different times and days and there are always machines open. The price range is comparable to other laundromats in the areas. Washers range from $2 for a small load, $4 for a medium load, and $6 for a large load. The washers take about 28 minutes. Dryers are $.25 for every 7 minutes. It typically takes 21-28 ($.75 to $1) for my clothes to dry. I would highly recommend this location! read more

3 different size washers 2 - 4 dollars a load. Bill to bill machine. Change machine. Places to fold your clothes. Plenty of rolling baskets to put stuff in. Lots of seating. Coke machine. Televisions located throughout. They even have comfy padded chairs. Pretty clean for a laundromat. Bathrooms located onsite. The only thing keeping it from five stars is that there is no way to get cash if you don't have some already. Also, there are not that many wall outlets for charging your phone, or whatever it is that you need one for. I suppose it is a lot cheaper than laundromats I have been to in the past. If needed, I wouldn't mind having to come here again. It is without a doubt the nicest laundromat I have ever been to. read more

We had to use a large machine for our comforters and found this laundry matt. When we walked in we were looking at one of the larger machines, which cost more, thinking we needed it. The attendant came up and helped us right away. He showed us we could use a smaller one ad save two dollars. We left while the comforters were washing and when we can back the attendant had put our comforters in the dryer and started them for us! Such a nice and helpful man! Great place! read more

First of all I went their o-n-c-e. I've been washing comforters at Duds-N-Suds on S Blvd for years. But when my sister in law told me about Maggie's I wanted to try it out! It's closer to home. I went in on a Saturday evening with my 12 year old son. He had some homework to do and that hour or so was a perfect time for him to focus on that, which to my pleasure, he chose to do. Now, there are not proper tables at which to sit and write or type. He was writing on his lap, but there was a hard surface in the form of a wide banister right behind him. I suggested that he turn his chair sideways, so he could place the paper on the banister and write. Which he did. He was quiet and focused. He worked. I read. Then I went to place the comforter in the dryer. Upon my return I found him squatting trying to write at a low side table. I asked him to get off of the floor and asked why he was down there. He said the lady working there told him to move; and that he knew better. I was surprised because I wondering what I missed when I went to move the comforter to the dryer. He said he glanced up when I walked away and saw her looking at me walk toward the dryer. Then she approached and admonished him. So apparently she'd sat there for 30 minutes while my comforter washed, but as soon as moved she went over to speak to my son. Hmmm... Now, I want to stress to you that I'm not some blind mom who thinks her child does no wrong. But he wasn't doing anything, except studying. My husband and I teach our sons to be responsible, respectful and considerate; and so they are. When I asked the attendant what happened she was rude and unprofessional. When she saw me walking in her direction she had this look like she was gearing up for some kind of confrontation. I was polite when I spoke to her. She dismissed me rudely and directed me to the owner who explained that they don't want the furniture moved and that my son was wrong to turn his chair sideways. He said there was a sign asking us not to move furniture. Indeed there was but I didn't notice it until he pointed it out. It was not large, colorful or strategically placed. I apologized and explained that I didn't see it. He was short and rude to me. I was taken aback. I quietly told him that my son was simply studying, not running around making noise or anything. This is what gets me, since the owner is so over the top about his policy. There was a grown man when with pants all under his behind and bright red boxer briefs showing all in front of me, little girls, God and everybody. If that man understood respect he would have checked THAT and left my on task respectful boy alone. On the way out I suggested to the attendant that the next time she needed to give a child some feedback, perhaps she should approach the parent first. Her response? She closed the door in my face. These rude, unprofessional, mixed up people don't ever have to worry about me or my $25. If my son had been in there loud-talking or wearing his pants all down I guess he would have been ok. But he was a little too clean and a little too good and they had try to bring him down. It's all good. I will never go there again and honestly I want to print this review 100,000 times and post it up and down S Tryon; but Yelp will suffice. read more
