I'd like to say that I have come here quite a few time through out the years and I have seen artists come and go. Sometimes they take their expertise with them other times it's a blessing they left. No one has time for artists with bad temperaments just as they don't have time for cheap clientele. A good tattoo ain't cheap ! However some of these artists are complete rip offs. I had a tattoo that took 8 minutes and I was charged 80 dollars. I love the shoppe and never doubted it being hygienic and always took my friends and family here to get tattooed for the past 6 years. To keep competitiveness I am continuing to look for a new shop that matches what I am able to reasonably afford and provides the quality I am paying for. I would recommend the parlor no doubt ! This was the worst experience i've ever had. I went to get my industrial bar and right when i left i had to go to another place to get it removed. There was ZERO communication .....the whole process was very rushed and uncomfortable. the ambiance of this place is so unwelcoming and rude. the decoration is incredible which is what attracted me to this shop, but the workers are rude and have an attitude that makes it seem like your presence bothers them. it's like your stereotypical tattoo shop yk. anyways, i went to get some fairy wings done that i've seen online a lot, and the work i received was not at all what i wanted. when discussing what i wanted with the artist, i said i wanted it exactly alike and i asked whether it is something he'd be able to do, he said yes as if he could do this tattoo in his sleep. unfortunately, his arrogance was misplaced, as i left in tears from the thought of having the tattoo permanently. the artist who did the piece on me was rude from the start, being snappy at me for moving from the pain, when i felt like i did a decent job. in past experiences, tattoo artists have been very reassuring and here i just didn't receive that same level of comfort. it seemed like a very choppy job, i was able to look at the work for not even a minute before it was plastered on my back. after the first session, he did not wrap it (idk maybe his preference) or offer any aftercare advice. obviously after i saw what was done, i called the owner to inform her i would not be coming back and would like a refund; i felt like that was an appropriate next step, especially because only half of the work was done, so i should at least receive half of the $504 it cost. it was a very confusing process, with her saying yes, then half, then saying that i have to talk to him. in the end, because i don't know his schedule and because i have my own schedule, i popped in once to talk to them, but immediately she shut me down and said i can only talk to him. in no world is the work done on me $504, but they refused to refund any amount of money to me. read more

I went here in March of 2020 and saw Rachelle. I got my triple forward helix done. It was during their Friday the 13th special. She got my friend and I right in. It was quick and fairly painless. I was originally super impressed and happy with my piercing. Fast forward to today (Sept. 2020) I have been having lots of problems. I acquired irritation bumps on two of the holes, still cleaning blood and crusty stuff daily. I followed all of her directions and it seemed as though they weren't healing properly. I went to another shop for a second opinion. They told me my top one was irritated and swollen and I could change it to a longer post. When the lady took the post out, the post was green and so was the ball. Green= fake jewelry! I couldn't believe it! She changed all 3 of them due to them not being surgical steel and they were beginning to turn green as well. I can't believe they would do such a thing! Watch out when going there! Fake jewelry can lead to major problems if not taken care of quickly. Now I have to start my healing process again and do extra stuff to try and eliminate my two irritation bumps. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came in on Friday 13th to get my nipples pierced. The owner of the shop, Rachel, pierced my nipples completely wrong. She pierced my areolas instead of my actually nipples. I noticed something was wrong after a week and went back to have her look at them. Instead of telling me the truth and saying that she pierced my areolas instead of nipples, she told me they were done correctly and just swollen still so that's why they look strange and she decided to but a longer bar in until the swelling came down. After a month of waiting for the swelling to go down it still looked strange so I went to Old West Tattoo to have someone else professionally look at them and he confirmed that she BUTCHERED MY BREAST!!! Now I have to wait a month in order to get the redone properly. Moral of the story, if you can trust the owner, you can't trust the shop at all! Never go to Ritual Addictions for a piercing. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PIERCINGS | This is the 2nd piercing I've gotten from ritual addictions and will be the last ! I first got nose pierced last year and it did not heal right, after taking a closer look, the piercing went through at an angle. I ended up taking this out myself. Fast forward to 5/13 I got my nipples pierced by the owner and some other female. It's been about 3 weeks and have had nothing but issues with my piercings. I've had multiple piercings before so I KNOW how the aftercare process works. Any other piercing I've gotten they've always sold/recommended H2Ocean. Not here! Best I got was , "use dial soap". Long story short I went to another piercing shop at arrowhead mall which knows all too well about the jack work they do at ritual addictions. Come to find out, both the owner & the other girl pierced right through my areola instead of my actual nipple. I had to end up removing both piercings because both became infected due to being improperly pierced as well as being some cheap metal. They do not have any surgical steel piercings at this shop. Just the same cheap jewelry you get from Spencer's. you pay for what you get so BEWARE ! read more

Went into Ritual Addictions to get a very bad tattoo covered up on my arm. I had a very basic idea of what I wanted as I wasn't sure what all could be done to fix what was already on my arm. Stopped in after reading reviews on Yelp. Met Prince and we discussed what I wanted in my tattoo. I told him how another studio said what I wanted wasn't possible, and he listened to me, looked at various pictures I showed him and then was able to draw a sketch right there of what I was describing. Prince is a true artist. He is kind, gentle, and honest. He cares about his clients, about what they want, how they are feeling, and how the experience is going for them. I came here for Friday the 13th tattoos yesterday and was mostly disappointed. The shop opened at 12 and we got in line 11. I understand that there were a lot of people in line, and the workers were working hard. But I had to wait 10 hours just to get my tattoos! And no one was on top of telling us what number they were on! I feel like it could have been planned better so everyone's time was worth the wait! The tattoo artists were nice, I understand that it was a stressful day for them and they were doing dozens of tattoos each! However, the piercers (specifically the owner) were so rude! So rude! They were so disrespectful to every single customer in the shop! It was honestly really upsetting to see how the owner of the tattoo shop would be so mean and nasty to her own customers! They also had a young girl who is still an apprentice doing tattoos too, and not telling anyone!!! No disrespect to her because she is still learning but at least tell people? All in all, I understand it was a stressful day for the workers but that is not an excuse to be disrespectful to customers. I got my tattoo done by jay and he was really good, tattoo turned out good. Shop was very clean, and sterile - I would have walked out otherwise. Staff was real nice and answered any and all questions.
