My advice steer clear of this shop. They employ Krystal Hart, an underhanded artist who can't tattoo to save her life. She took my deposit, tattooed part of the agreed upon work, took full payment and never competed the kn part of my hands. Her dot work is terrible and she's got no awareness of her needle. I won't be back, found a different artist to get my knuckles done. Update:after reviewing her inability and terrible business practice she reached out to me to tell me how terrible of a human I am. I absolutely LOVE this shop. Bret has done my American flag sleeve sleeve and Tiger has done a large piece on my forearm. Every time I come to the shop it's clean and the people are always so friendly! While spending sometimes 12 hours getting tattooed, artists would pop in and see what we were in the midst of doing or checking on the progress of the sleeve each time I came in; all extremely nice people. I highly recommend this shop, there is so much talent here and so many people who can get the job done. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my ink needs. Phenomenal job done by Bret. He was very highly recommended by friends. He is usually booked pretty far out because he is that good. He takes his time but doesn't overcharge regardless how long you are there. During the process he even mentioned how he wants perfection with his work and we got it. He's just as picky as you. The shop was very clean. He sanitized to the max. If you want your tattoo perfect, want it very detailed, and realistic he is the guy. His work is crazy good. I went with my friend to Ink Therapy for her 18th birthday to get her first tattoo. Her appointment time was 6:15. At 5:15 she got a call saying something came up and her appointment would now be 7:30. We weren't concerned, things come up, no big deal. So we got there at 7:30 and were told it'd be at least another hour. At nine a asked the counter girl if she could get an estimated time because it would only be my friend's birthday for another 3 hours. His answer: "Not my fault, not my problem." At this point, we were both irritated. Her appointment was now 2 hours later than anticipated and her other plans were being postponed. Finally, her artist was ready for her at 9:45, a full 3 and a half hours late. And boy o boy, was he friendly. He started by saying he wouldn't hesitate to kick me out without legitimate cause. While working on her outline, on her ribs, she experience some minor involuntary muscle spasms. Not her choice, not preventable. Justin, the artist, then told her that if she twitched again, he'd kick her out with half an outline. When he was finally finished, my friend was in tears from being threatened and insulted and I was livid. He said, verbatim, that "septum piercings are so ugly and girls with them are gross". Hi, my name's Julia and I have a very obvious ring in my septum. He finished up with aftercare and calling me annoying. The only thing I said the entire time was telling my friend that the tattoo was coming along well, looking good, and that she could handle it. Good to know he finds compliments and encouragement annoying. Maybe he'll like this review better. The result of this? She's going to another shop for her color and, despite the quality of their work, I will never send anyone there to be insulted and ridiculed. read more

Finally getting around to my reviews. Got to give good ones where they are due! This is their new location and is being enlarged and remodeled. My husband and I have had several pieces done by the very talented Sirrus. We are very happy with our visions becoming real ink on our skins. Sirrus free handed our designs. He worked with me on fine tuning a tattoo design on the second session of a 2 session piece and I could not be more satisfied. I might be tempted to travel to Sirrus if I were to have more work done. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. This place is very unprofessional and I have saved texts to prove it. Julian agreed to do a cover-up on my ankle.We discussed a timeline it needed to be done and a budget.He agreed and after charging me by the hour and working extremely slow(to pump me for more money,) he canceled my next session the morning of as I was leaving to go there.He blew me off for a mural job that he was offered.He then set me up with another appointment about a month later, which he also ended up canceling the night before. He then explained to me that he was unable to tell me when he could finish the tattoo and broke our agreement.I asked him for my deposit back (reminding him of my time frame, due to my job) and he refused, saying it was for his time to draw the tattoo cover up out(which he didn't even finish drawing.) He originally told me that the deposit is for in case clients cancel.I had to go to a different artist to basically clean up the half job he did and now I'm being charged for a full tattoo(which is understandable on the new artist's end.) I asked Julian for my money back and explained to him that what he did was unprofessional and now I have to pay double to have another artist work on it because they charge by the session and he ignored my messages.I then contacted the person who runs the Facebook page at Ink Therapy and they also ignored me. I gave them a head's up that if they didn't make it right and refund me, then I would take them to small claims court.Still, no response back. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. DO NOT go to this place for a tattoo! I'm so upset that I'm now paying for much more to have another artist cover up his work, which was to cover over the original bad tattoo I had previously. My tattoo is half done and looks horrible and they don't care how they leave their clients. This is skin and is permanent and not to be taken lightly! read more

I went to Ink therapy for a commemorative tattoo and was seriously unsatisfied. A friend has gotten two tattoos from the artist Derek and I enjoyed the color and overall tattoos. I decided to use him as my artist for this very special tattoo (this is my 7th). Derek was extremely unprofessional with personal medical information and charged me more for my tattoo based on the circumstance. The coloring of the tattoo was not what I wanted- I wanted an outlined piece with shading inside. I received a quick work up with a mag and little highlights on the tips. This tattoo scabbed worse than any of my large full colored ones and the spots that have healed are more dull than ones that I've had for years. Overall terrible experience, will not be returning to this shop. read more

The overall experience was great, the artist was personable and relaxed. Decent pricing, shop minimum is based on the work which I completely agree with. My only concern is with the healing, took care of the tattoo like the said. However, it began to fade after it healed and my once all black tattoo now looks like it has been shaded instead. 3-3-2012 Went for a tattoo and I had an appointment.... 3 hours later I finally sat for my tattoo.... I am not a music hater but the music was so loud it was horrible and when the tattoo artist said something to the owner about the volume, he said that I, THE CUSTOMER, did not have a say in how loud or what music was playing.. I wasn't asking them to change the music just turn it down SLIGHTLY, please.... I could not talk to the person that was in the same room as me... I will not go back there ... and I have many more tattoos to get still! read more

Yeah I had went to go get a tattoo from this place and I did not get what I wanted because I had a guy try to darken the lines on my tattoo and it didnt even show up like it should have! the tattoo quality isnt really that great I have had better and had to have another artist fix my arm from another shop!! read more
