My youngest daughter just turned 17! And all she wanted (originally) was to get her belly button pierced which I no problem with... lol but once we walked in I think the tattoo bug jumped on her back. Keagen was super friendly he greeted us and kinda let us know how the shop worked... one side was for tattoos and the other was for piercings (essentially) he was an artist himself a was super chill. As we waited my littlest baby said could I get a tattoo too? I was like No she ran down the list of how much she deserved it which included being and straight A student taking several college classes... He got her stencil ready and prepped his station while she got her bellybutton pierced it literally took him 30 minutes tops and a tattoo came out really nice. Came in for a walk in for a basic blue and purple floral tattoo. Asked if what I was looking for was doable artist said yes came back with a hand drawn stencil with no detail in it. I asked if the tattoo would be detailed and water color like I asked and he said yes. Quoted me shop minimum $100 at first. I (regrettably) allowed him to tattoo the poorly drawn stencil on me and 5 min later had the UGLIEST Hawaiian flowers on me and then tried to charge me $250 instead because it was "watercolor". The lines are so wobbly and shaky after healing and so so so ugly. read more

disclaimer: this review is quite lengthy (understatement of the century), so if you need to pass some time on the toilet then this is the perfect reading opportunity for you! my first experience with this establishment was on my twentieth birthday in 2021, which was the same day i set an appointment to get some piercings (more specifically, snakebite piercings). a few months prior to my appointment, i had to do a hell of a lot of convincing in order to get my mom to let me have them (ironically enough, she used to have a monroe piercing AND even has tattoos!). at first she was on the fence, but she finally caved and allowed me to get them as a birthday present. a short but somewhat sweet personal anecdote aside, the shop was about a thirty-minute drive from our house. i started to feel jittery at first, (i mean, who wouldn't if it's their first time getting a piercing?) but as soon as i arrived, my anxiety waned momentarily. the shop itself was somewhat crowded, but not enough to be bothersome. some patrons waited in a small line whereas others like myself sat on some of the chairs near the front desk. everything looked neat and tidy, and the employees were very attentive and willing to offer assistance if needed. about twenty minutes after waiting, it was finally time for me to get my piercing! my anxiety reappeared again, but the piercer for my appointment was very friendly and eased the mood (i forgot his name since the appointment was nearly three years ago). my mom came in with me just in case, and even offered to hold my hand while i got my piercings. i politely shrugged her off, reassuring her that everything was going to be fine. the process of getting the piercings themselves was relatively quick. i already know that everyone's pain tolerance is different so there's no telling what my experience would've been like for someone else. in my instance, getting the snakebite piercings felt like getting a flu shot (there was a slight pinch for about five seconds, and it went away). overall, my rating for the pain is a 3.5/10. afterwards, we gave the piercer a generous tip for the stellar service. the cost of my snakebite piercings was around $90-$100, so if you're curious about the pricing, make sure to ask beforehand! as for the healing process, that was the part that i struggled with the most. a few hours after i got my piercings, my lips were swollen so i couldn't really eat solid foods for about a week (stick to liquid-based foods like soup or softer food). however, i had no issue with cleaning my piercings with the spray solution that i was given alongside with brushing my teeth after every meal. a few weeks later, my piercings were healed! i definitely plan on coming to this location again for another piercing (or maybe even a tattoo), and i would recommend it to anyone who's interested. read more

I was excited to get the bridge of my nose pierced! Chase Torres was the person on duty to perform the piercing the day I was there. He marked my nose for piercing and pierced my nose. I looked in the mirror and noticed that it was crooked right away and he said it looks straight to me! I got home and inspected it and it was yes indeed very crooked not only was it higher on the right side, but the depth on each side was different as well. It didn't matter because two days later, it was infected, and I had to take it out. Based on his lack of professionalism. I wouldn't go back to him. I wouldn't advise a friend or family member to go to him. And I felt the vibe of the business a bit intimidating. I'd say zero stars for quality. Sorry Chase you're a nice guy, but you should think about a different profession one that's not so precise. read more

I have been here a few times for piercings. I usually see Chase. I walked in with my son to get his noes and my septum pierced. We were greeted by Kat ( I think that was her name) and we advised what we were looking for. Picked jewelry for my son. We decided I would go first. She used these blue disposable clamps. Pushed the needle very slow mostly through got stuck and pulled it out. I should have said I am good because she went all the way through but not enough. But I went ahead with it again this time with a metal clamp. Still very slow so it hurt way worse the second time. So I got jabbed 2 times. Then I look and it's crooked. To say it irks me is an understatement. Then she did my son normal nose ring and again went really slow. The point is to get it done fast and as painless as possible. I'm probably going to take this out and wait a few months and have it redone. See the picture on how crooked it is. A word of advice ask for Chase. I really wish I would have. If the shop reads this she needs more training. I asked her how long she had been piercing and she said oh awhile. I don't think she knows what she is doing. She for sure is causing more pain than what it should be. The 1 star is for the piercer only. read more

So the first time I went here was close to 20 years ago, when they were on Olive and I was around 18. I don't recall who the artist was, but they completed my outlined mess of a tribal tramp stamp. Man I'm old. I don't think I went back till they were at the current Greenway location. Well they are still an awesome shop. I don't know of many tattoo shops that have dedicated peircers. I attempted to gauge my ears a few years ago, I want to say within the past five years. It was always fun to BS with Mandy, but Chase is awesome too. (May Mandy RIP) I stopped trying to guage my ears because it looked weird with my attached lobes. I contacted Mandy a few years ago to ask if they took credit yet so I could get my right sleeve completed. We discussed my options, but my right sleeve still hasn't been completed. I swung by on my way home (accidentally posted my review because I was hugging one of my puppers) because I needed to take my nose ring out prior to surgery. Two ladies walked in prior to me but let me go first since they were getting peirced and I was just having mine removed. The jewelry was removed easy peasy and I was told to come back Friday so it could be replaced. I was not charged, but I tipped with what cash I had because that's appropriate. It was pretty short notice of them to get me in but after some checking I was able to come back the next day to get my sleeve finished. Made a deal with my daughter that if she was on the honor roll freshman and sophomore years she could get her nose pierced. She did it so we went to Ace and she got both sides of her nose pierced. The entire experience was outstanding! Shop is clean, organized and the staff were courteous. The lady that did the piercing got everything straight and even, told my daughter exactly what she was doing every step of the way and gave detailed after care instructions. My daughter and I have another agreement that if she lands on the honor roll junior and senior years I'll help her get a tattoo if she wants one. I have a feeling we'll be back at Ace May 2024. Good people who know what they're doing, highly recommend. I brought my 18 year old in for a piercing. Healed up very nice. Wait time for piercings is 0 mins on a weekday but about 45mins - 1 hour on weekends. They don't do tattoos on hands, face, neck, forgot what else for anyone under 21. They said it's hard job-stoppers and refuse to do it. Thank you Jesus! I didn't like the tattoo my daughter wanted, especially the placement. The ATM though! Bring cash if possible! They said the ATM doesn't charge a fee but it has some lame interface that made me accidentally pull a balance inquiry because there was no other option on the screen, making you think to see the balance screen to withdraw next. I got charged double from my bank because I had to go in again to pull cash on a separate transaction. I'm sure this happens frequently here! Grr. Makes me a little sad when I tipped the piercer so much. read more

I came in and ask her if she could may be comprehensive me with free jewelry or something like that, she said No, I can wait 2 months for it to close and come back, she can redo that one side for me.
