I love everyone at this shop. Eric is my artist and he does some absolutely amazing work! He makes you feel comfortable the whole time. Eric with make jokes to get you laughing so you are nervous. When the owner is there he always comes over and checks on you while you are being tattooed. He always makes sure you are being treated good, same with Mat. These guys are absolutely amazing! I would recommend it 100% anyone of these guys. read more

Without a doubt the best tattoo artists in the valley! Hollis did an amazing job on my tattoo that was for my 15 year old dog that I had to put to sleep the week before. From the moment I walked in the entire team was nothing but professional and helpful! Krystal kept in touch with me making sure that they had all of the information of what I wanted. I really didn't have an idea of what I wanted my tattoo to look like, so I just gave Krystal 3 things that I definitely wanted to be in the tattoo. She gave all of that to Hollis and the design he came up with was absolutely incredible!! My parents even love the tattoo and they have not really like any of my other ones! Thank you Hollis and the team at Iconic Tattoo & Piercing for giving me something that I will always remember Indiana!! read more

I drive 4hrs to see Hollis at Iconic Tattoo because he is well worth the drive. Been working on a Predator Sleeve piece by piece for a little while now. He is a multi award winning artist and even has 2 Guiness World Records. He will take breaks when necessary and work till the piece is finished. Other words Hollis will not send you away for another appointment or rush to get you out. I still have a couple more pieces till my arm is complete due to time and I will post what I have so far. read more

Never ever get a delicate or neck piece done by K.Ta. I was the absolutely only client there, she messed up my super simple stencils, blew out the ink in four different spots and was so heavy handed. Everything that can go wrong went wrong. I wish I never tipped for this piece of crap that's now on my neck. read more

I came here Friday the 13th for a small flash tattoo and this place was packed! in my personal experience, normally the feeling I get from parlors is that the customer is kind of an inconvenience to the tattooers, they are all too happy to take the money but not to polite in dealing with the customer. This place is not that way. They were polite and friendly and calm in managing all these people that wanted to get some quick ink. There was a nice lady working the desk who kept it all in line and it was fair, you go on a list and wait your turn. She would even call people who weren't there to let them know they were up. That kind of service is really unheard of in the tattoo world, again my personal experiences. My wife and I got our work done by Johnny and he was very nice and courteous. Had a very light touch and I would seriously consider getting some more work done from him. I will be coming back here as I was impressed off of this short encounter. read more

Aaron is AWESOME! He took my husband idea, drafted it in a way that worked for tattoos, and the shading was incredible. He's got a cool story about how he got into tattooing and was really fun to be around. Glad we finally have a tattoo artist up in Phoenix, we'll be back! read more

I'd give 0 stars if possible. Called just to talk about what I needed and instead of listening this douche bag starts chewing me out. Learn how to talk to paying customers. Never will go here. Absolutely garbage. read more

Went for Friday the 13th and they were doing deals. They were friendly and kind and had sketches drawn out already. They quoted us an hour and we ended up waiting 2 and a half and still had 3 people in front of us so we left. There was like 22 people after us and they were quoting them an hour and a half when it was clearly gonna take at least 4. Only 2 tattooing there. read more

Just finished my touch up with Hollis this week and IM IN LOVE! Incredibly friendly staff, Krystal is amazing! I've waited a while to get into Hollis, as I'd heard he was the best...I'm so happy I waited it out and got the artist that I wanted because my sentimental piece is EXACTLY what I wanted. Ive has more compliments on my month old piece from Hollis, then I've had on any other tattoo in years combined! read more

The best tattoo experience I've ever had! My husband and I both got tattoos from K-ta and we could not be more pleased. Not a good experience for us. If you are rushed to do a piercing because you have a tattoo client waiting, please let us know and we would have tried a different time. Now, my daughter's ear piercing is completely uneven. We also never received a receipt for services, nor do they sell solution for piercing care. I would not return here. read more

If you are thinking of getting a tattoo and want the best experience, time, and the honestly best damn tattoo you could even imagine, I would automatically recommend Mr Hollis Cantrell at iconic tattoo. He is the full package. He is a great person, a chill guy, and a wonderful tattoo artist that pumps out some of the best tattoos I have ever seen. The tattoo that he put on my wife was a doe similar to the one from Harry Potter with an explosion of color making look more like a art installation than a tattoo. Everyone that sees it is immediately impressed! He also did the Hogwarts Castle on her leg and it looks amazing. We will definitely continue to work with Hollis. We couldn't ask for a better artist! read more

Aaron is my favorite artist there! He always does a great job. I have been following him from shop to shop and I am never disappointed.

I have been looking for a new tattoo artist for some time now. I had some older work that I wanted either covered up or redone. I met several different "artists" that made me feel like changing my previous tattoo work would be a hassle and that I could only pick something really busy to cover it up like a snake or dragon, etc. K-ta was the first artist that I met that made me feel comfortable about my tattoo related goals. She took the time to look at my work and discuss options with me. She ended up doing a cover up for me and I couldn't be more happy with it. I only gave her an idea of the things I wanted to incorporate into the cover up and she pretty much free handed the entire thing as she tattooed. She told me that she liked doing cover ups because she enjoyed the challenge and because it made her feel good when her clients walked away with something they were happy with. What an awesome artist!! Plus she has great attention to detail and her work is very clean/neat. I will be continuing with her going forward for my tattoo needs and I highly recommend! Thank you K-ta! =D read more

I have followed the owner Hollis back when he was working at Artistic tattoo. I'm impressed by his shop and happy that he finally accomplished his goals. With that being said I am disappointed with this past visit. A tattoo artist there that goes by Josh is a liar plane and simple. I took my younger cousin to get a tattoo as a late graduation/birthday present while I was in town. I took her to get a half sleeve, granted my cousin is tiny weighs 94lbs and arms small as my wrists. We didn't have time to finish the tattoo because I had a flight to catch and I had to fight thru traffic so I left prematurely. When I also expressed the urgency in time and leaving Josh took I don't even know how many cigarette breaks, that's another thing that bothered me I haven't been to a tattoo shop where the artists put the customer on hold to take numerous smoke breaks at will. That is your time your paying for, or how Josh later had the gal to say he was going to "hook it up" since he knew I had to leave prematurely so he charged 400$ for a session cut short then my young naive 18 year old cousin came back thinking that I had paid for her session he charges 450$. My cousin can finish the session he had previously started a few days earlier to allow for adequate healing. So my cousin comes back a 3rd time for a charge of 150$ I believe. To bring the price of a 3 rose tattoo small half sleeve, to I believe 1,000 or 1,050 and some change. Then I call this low life Josh, who likes to rip off little girls, at the tattoo shop. Not only do I have to deal with the snobby attitude of the secretary Roxy, who is clueless to say the least, she asks for a receipt bahaha, seriously? that tattoo is on her arm. I have to speak with an incompetent manager because Hollis isn't available to take my call and apparently Josh is the manager while Hollis is away. I get to speak with the culprit that ripped off my cousin, so I can get to the bottom of this finally and I am treated with disrespect. Then Josh says he will give Hollis the message and have him call me. I proceed to give him my contact information and he hangs up on me. Then I message them back wanting to talk to Hollis via my cousins Facebook account and Hollis says he will contact me. Whats good Hollis? Did you get my messages? I guess Hollis lets his employees practice price gouging. Not cool bruh!!! read more

Horrible costumer service. Really rude employees. Total bummer! 4 artist sitting around and not one showed any interest in doing a tattoo. Guess they didn't want to make money. Bad vibe from the second I walked in. read more

I went in for a Friday the 13th flash tattoo but they got shut down for people "loitering" Hollis sent out a group text later to everyone who signed their list to reschedule. Iconic Tattoo is the best and Hollis is amazing! All of their artists are very talented and professional! I would definitely recommend them 100%. I've been wanting another tattoo for a long time. But wasn't really sure what and where. Had an idea but that was it. I had tried no less than 10 other shops. But none " felt right". I walked into iconic and had an instant connection with JOSH. It just got better as he took my idea and ran with it. End result a perfect mesh of my idea and his skills. 7 hours in the chair but he has such a light touch it didn't seem that long. This was my first really large piece. Go to iconic. See JOSH. You will not be disappointed. read more
