I went in to have a cover up done of just simple date. The outcome was so much more than I could have expected. Steve took his time drawing up a custom piece so that it wasn't just a coverup, it was a beautiful display of my love for my son. I was more than pleased and am excited to add more to it.

But the staff is wonderful and very friendly and I will certainly be going back for more tattoos :)

I asked why she didn't call or text and all she has to say is I should've had it on my calendar as if that would change my girlfriend being sick... ridiculous, thanks Mia

Making an appointment at Double Down was super easy and when I walked into the shop, I was pleased with how clean and organized it was! Everyone working was extremely friendly and Jesse definitely knew what he was doing. The tattoo was quick and easy, and Jesse was incredibly helpful with providing aftercare information and making sure I knew I could contact him with any questions or concerns. I plan on returning to Double Down for all of my future tattoos!

I went to get a blue rose tattoo and showed the guy exactly what I wanted and it came out terrible!! I told him it was representing my grand children, it is nothing like what I asked for it was super infected after 2days and I had to go get antibiotics, I went and spoke to the owner and asked for 1/2 the mo ty back and he said to done back and he would fix it.. I have 4 other tats and I have never have this happen, this tattoo is terrible and now I have to get it fixed.. the other artist in there seem to be doing some awesome work, the guy who did mine is good at finger painting maybe due to my tattoo looks like someone dabbed paint and touched my skin!!! Scotty did mine .. I wouldn't recommend this place .. one is what it looks like the second one is what it was supposed to look like..

Went in for the Friday the 13th piercing deal and had a terrible experience. I asked for a vertical labret and the piercer didn't even clean my lip or remove my makeup before piercing. When she marked the placement I told her TWICE that it looked crooked and she kept saying "no you're perfect." Well... it came out extremely crooked just like I said it would. She also gave me a ridiculously long bar. I understand leaving room for swelling, but this bar was so long it literally looked like an eyebrow piercing sticking out of my lip. The aftercare advice was also completely wrong. She told me to clean it with water and Dial soap instead of saline or saltwater, which is standard piercing aftercare. She pierced my friend's nose too and gave him a bar that was too short with no room for swelling. He even asked if she had a longer bar and she said no and pierced him anyway. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, but I went to another piercer for a second opinion and they confirmed everything: the placement is crooked, the jewelry is wrong, and the aftercare advice was bad. She was nice, but the service and piercing quality were terrible. I would not recommend getting pierced here. read more

Came in after being turned away at another shop because of shop policy. They not only got me in but were super understanding on why I DID NOT want to walk around with 1/2 a piercing setup done (snakebites) but Keke and Allan were able to make sure everything was handled in beyond ample time by the time it took me to drive from one shop to here they were ready and good to go. About $80 with jewelry. read more

I went in here to get a tattoo after seeing all the good reviews, well the whole time I sat there the man spat in my face , constantly made racist remarks and laughed it off had everybody in the shop off laughing gas and btw the tattoo came out TERRIBLE maybe add a LAZER REMOVAL SERVICE ! Alan is amazing!! idk how he does it but he's the only tattoo artist I went to where the tattoo didn't hurt to get! I took my mom who is normally a nervous wreck about this things and she felt so calm and comfortable when getting her tattoo. Prices are very reasonable shop is clean and everyone is so nice! Nate (Nathan) is an awesome tattoo artist! Nate has done 2 of my tattoos, one on my back and one on my leg and two for my husband, one a cover-up on his shoulder and the other was a hand print of my son and it came out amazing. I the wife will be going back for more! It was a true blessing meeting Nate through his wonderful girlfriend from Red Roof Inn during our travel from NJ to Arizona who recommended him! awesome time yet again!!!! my friends and i were worried we would miss friday the 13th after having dinner, but we called before going, hoping i wasn't too late. They were so nice on the phone and invited us to come down! We went in hoping Jesse would do our tattoos again! The wait felt so short because their waiting area is really chill and lots of seating. The vibe was really good there last night :) we were able to meet with jesse and yet again he was so cool!!! It was my friend's first time getting a tattoo and he made the experience really easy for her and myself! we will be back in march for the next 13th for sure!!!! read more

I can't imagine why someone keeps taking my reviews off, this is the third one I have attempted to write for this place!!!! DON"T REMOVE THIS PLEASE!!!! I mean this now more than ever!! I've had a total of 3 tattoo's done at Double Down and I love every one of them!!! This is a wonderful tattoo shop, friendly, very knowledgeable staff. EXTREMELY talented artists!!! I went to Double Down Tattoo for my first one. Scotty is such an amazing artist; I told him what I wanted and he delivered beyond my expectations! I was really nervous about it and he totally made me feel comfortable and talked to me to keep me occupied. Just came from there got my spetum pierced. Its dark inside the place so the piecing looked normal. When I got home I notice it was crooked,the guy who pierced my nose was about 6 feet red hair and was wearing a green hat because of him I had to pull the piercing out which was worse then the first time I cannot believe this I have received many piercings from other shops and this is the first time that something this horrible has happen to me!!I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

Customer service needs work. Being rude to a customer on the phone just cuz it's late and you don't want to stay late shouldn't be tolerated. Not that losing one or two potential clients is a big deal, but word of mouth is a bitch. Even if the service I wanted was $10 I wouldn't work with their piercer now. read more

Never will I go into this place. Had a tv on Craigslist the guy wanted to trade me for a tat. I told him I wanted him to change a purple rose into a black rose. The couldn't understand what I wanted kept saying he was gonna put more black roses on me. When I told him I wanted to go in have him look at it he kept saying no just come in and ill give you the tat. I asked him twice for the address he would only give me the cross roads. After talking to him again he was giving me the creeps so I told him never mind. The guy went crazy blowing up my phone calling me texting me finally then he gives me the address to the shop. Then he says he has someone else there he's gonna tattoo but he has my needle ready and he can't use it in anyone else wtf? Is been over a month this has happen and this crazy man is still texting me trying to get me to go in. I would be really scared to step foot in this place. read more

He also has excellent knowledge on what is even possible based on your ear anatom. Old West has a little room with a professional medical table/seat for piercings. I wanted a certain orbital but he said not only is my ear not as pronounced there, it's a very complex healing process. Luckily I had already researched Old West & liked another orbital picture they posted to Yelp so that one was my second choice & Torin was all over it! He measured & placed it PERFECTLY. Plus I got a flat piercing & he placed that perfectly as well in comparison to my other piercings. His commitment to health & safety is unmatched & both piercing are healing so well with the saline solution I bought from Old West. I came back exactly a month to get the shorter post needed for my flat and it was just such a pleasure to show Torin how great they both look! Each time I was in there were multiple people getting tats and the piercings are like back-to-back so this is definitely a go-to place for both. Thank you Torin & Old West! Pic is exactly one month from the flat & side orbital piercing - orbital is 16g 10mm ring & flat is 14g bezel Swarovski crystal, both purchased from Old West.

Saw this shop was open and the first impression was already great -- they were very nice on the phone and was more than happy to provide pricing and wait time information. When getting there, you're greeted by the staff and you just tell them what you're looking for. Tattoos take appointments, but piercings are walk-in. And the good thing is they are opened late so if you're wanting something in the middle of the night, they got you. I had to wait a little bit since there were people ahead of me, but once it was your turn, it flied by and it was super quick. ALWAYS ask your questions during the piercing to ensure you have proper aftercare. Since the piercing goes by quickly, they usually send you off quick too. But always ask about the healing time and any solution you can use to clean it -- the staff was more than happy to provide that to me. The piercings were also very affordable even with tip being applied, it did not break the bank! The only downside is that the parking around the area is slim, but walking isn't too bad! The overall environment is spooky/latin I'm taking saw on a bike and Vicente Fernández on the wall! Everyone here is so welcoming and no one is ever making you feel dumb by asking questions. My only fear is that I live so close so I want to get a new piercing & tattoo everyday!!

Hello to all tattoo lovers....this shop is a "Top Notch" shop in the valley. I've seen a lot of shops in my day and this is one of the best. I'ts clean and they listened to exactly what i wanted. I looked through all the portfolios of all the artists and it was a really hard decision to make. I would let any one of them tattoo me. My tattoo is way bad ass, the shading and colors are freakin perfect! I love love my tattoo from Double Down and if any of you are looking for a shop to get your first tattoo or that sleeve you've been dying to get...this is your place. OH MY GOD!!! Let me start off by saying, this is the cleanest tattoo shop I have been into in a long while. The guys are all so friendly and nice!! I felt super comfortable from the second I walked in. I also loved that there are 2 women that work there, that made me feel at ease. The one lady, the owner I think, her name was Noelle, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. She even gave me a free drink from the vending machine for my patience. My tattoo AND piercing were both exactly what I asked for. I just cant' believe how friendly and professional these people are!! I highly recommend talking to Dick and Morgan! I was helped as soon as i walked in the door, David was very helpful in answering all of my questions, he really does know alot and more importantly care about his work, He showed me how they sterilize their tools, and he even showed me the two separate rooms they use to keep things clean. I would never think of going to anywhere but "Double Down tattoo", for the simple fact that before Jessie owned his own shop, I have been exclusively seeing him as my own tattooist's for 3 years.
