He was stoked to do my design (my recently deceased father's parrot). His equipment was the newestr in tattooing (I have many tattoos and have never seen a tattoo machine without a cord). Buda had a steady hand and a light touch. I am so impressed with this beautiful blue and gold macaw-Buda understood my vision and executed it perfectly. I wanted a certain orbital but he said not only is my ear not as pronounced there, it's a very complex healing process. Luckily I had already researched Old West & liked another orbital picture they posted to Yelp so that one was my second choice & Torin was all over it! He measured & placed it PERFECTLY. Plus I got a flat piercing & he placed that perfectly as well in comparison to my other piercings. His commitment to health & safety is unmatched & both piercing are healing so well with the saline solution I bought from Old West. I came back exactly a month to get the shorter post needed for my flat and it was just such a pleasure to show Torin how great they both look! I went to this shop after being turned away from another since they had too many people before…read moreclosing time. I was pretty determined to get these piercings done since I wanted these badly. Saw this shop was open and the first impression was already great -- they were very nice on the phone and was more than happy to provide pricing and wait time information. When getting there, you're greeted by the staff and you just tell them what you're looking for. Tattoos take appointments, but piercings are walk-in. And the good thing is they are opened late so if you're wanting something in the middle of the night, they got you. I had to wait a little bit since there were people ahead of me, but once it was your turn, it flied by and it was super quick. ALWAYS ask your questions during the piercing to ensure you have proper aftercare. Since the piercing goes by quickly, they usually send you off quick too. But always ask about the healing time and any solution you can use to clean it -- the staff was more than happy to provide that to me. The piercings were also very affordable even with tip being applied, it did not break the bank! The only downside is that the parking around the area is slim, but walking isn't too bad!
