I went to this shop once before for a tattoo. Did a wonderful job on it. That's why the second time around I choose them to go to. I was getting a tattoo done by Billy. A pretty simple tattoo. It looked great the first two days. My first red flag was when he put this plastic sticky thing over it (like saran wrap) and the told me to leave it on for FOUR DAYS!!! You can't leave a tattoo covered for four days! But as an idiot I followed what my artist suggested. It fell off on day 2 in the morning. So I proceeded to clean it with dial soap, after I pat dried it and it was completely dry I used one of two things:aquaphor and unsented lotion. But never both at the same time. I have several other tattoos so the cleaning process is not new to me whatsoever. It processed to ooz out ink and puss. Obviously the tattoo at this point is infection. I consult with several other tattoo artist. They proceeded to tell me the artist went too deep. So I take myself to the Emergency Room after work. BOOM! They tell me "yup that's infected." They gave me a shot of antibiotics that lasted for 12 hours. They prescribed me three medicines. 2 pills and 1 cream. However the cost for these medications is $327.32. Like holy cow! Now I can cover most of this but I ask the shop owners to refund my $140 so I can afford the rest of the meds. They beat around the bush saying I don't know how to take care of the tattoo and no doctor can tell me it's infected and if it was infected you'd be able to see it. Well, it's dark RED all around the tattoo and has been for 10 days now, there's puss STILL coming out of it, 10 days of puss. How is that not infected?! At this point there's a hole, a literal hole, in my leg from this tattoo. They are still refusing a refund after me sending pictures to them! Then proceeded to ask for my doctors information so they can call and talk to them! What?! Have you ever heard of doctor patient confidentiality?? After all this I'm still not on medication and they aren't giving two shits about it. They'd rather sit here and argue about it instead of making sure my health is okay. I even told them I'm not bashing your shop or the artist about any of this. Well now I'm over it. People need to know what scum work here. A bunch of bullshit if you ask me. Also little side note: the artist, Billy, openly admitted to stabbing himself with a needle while doing a tattoo. So he's cross contaminating and could cause someone to get a blood disease and he just lets it roll off his shoulder like it's nothing. read more

I went into this shop on May 14th and requested a paragraph with a faint watercolor background on my upper arm. The artist begrudgingly took me on (after I asked if they were accepting walk ins) and took my reference. I went to the back, with my friend in tow, and watched him type the stencil and measure out my arm. Everything was spelled correctly. When we placed the stencil he placed it to far inside of my arm and slightly crooked, we moved it outward. Everything was going fine until I looked down and noticed FOUR spelling errors. And MULTIPLE grammatical errors. The Artists name was Josh(?) but goes by Roach. After this he claimed he could fix it and advised I just don't treat those areas with any healing ointment or lotion. As if the letters weren't already tattooed. I let him finish the color, because he said we could 'discuss pricing' so if I was paying for anything, it might as well be colored correctly. The color came out blotchy and didn't blend well. (The turquoise was just a floating pool with a scar in the middle from his technique.) I was OUTRAGED. I walked out, luckily without having to pay a dime. My arm ruined. **I tried calling the shop soon after to try and explain my experience to the owners or a manager and was told over and over I was only able to talk to the artists. I even asked about emailing or using social media to reach them. I was told everything was handled by the staff as it was used to book appointments. I offered to come in to meet them, they don't have set times to be there. Could they call me back? 'You can leave your number and they might'. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER TREATMENT. I don't care if anyone reads this or gets tattooed here or cares. But this was my experience. A ruined tattoo. Embarrassed to show my arm. And poorly treated my the people who did this to me. The words spelled wrong: People as 'Peopple' Between as 'Betweem' May as 'Me & My' Errors such as: may be as 'maybe' anyway as 'anyways' 3x It took me this long to post because I FINALLY got it fixed by a DIFFERENT artist. looks NOTHING like the reference picture. wish i could give 0 stars. i'm not from arizona so i was looking for a fun way to commemorate my travels with a tattoo. i decided on getting the bee in the first photo and was horrified to receive the tattoo in the second. i did all the proper aftercare and the ink all flakes off and i'm embarrassed to show my wrist. $80 for a terrible tattoo and the artist gave the bee a shadow that i DID NOT ask for. there was a lack of communication and even tho my artist claimed to have been tattooing for about 27 years i believe he said, none of that supposed talent is shown on this nightmare he called a tattoo. We called ahead to see if they had availability for walk-ins, they said yeah just come down, we even asked if we should give them our names or anything to be put an appointment list they said no just come in. So we got there, the first guy was cordial and seemed friendly. We told him what we wanted done (3 minuscule matching tattoos) on me, my mom and my sister. My mom mentioned she wanted to just touch up her tattoo on her foot, the kid was like yeah that should be fine come back in like 2 hours. Again, we asked if we should put our name down. Nope, just come back. So we leave, and come back. We get back, the kid is outside on his break no biggie. While we're waiting, "Casey" walks up and asks what are we here for. We explained again what we wanted done, he looked at us like we were dumb and didn't know what we were talking about, and then my mom started explaining what she wanted done on her foot, he just stood there with his hands in his pocket with his eye brows raised and shot down every idea she had. At the end of all this, he said ok well you're going to have come back another day. At this point, my mom is now losing her mind like why would you tell us to come back? Now the kid who told us to leave comes back into the shop, and walks by us like he has never seen us before and even yelled "I didn't tell them that!" So awful and annoying, at this point if it's now almost 4pm on a Saturday and we wasted our entire day. We were able to get in with an amazing gal at Dodge City Tattoo named Renata. She did such a good job and my moms foot tattoo looks amazing, Casey! Huge mistake, we are great tippers LOL. read more

I was there to buy a new bellybutton ring for my daughter, but the guy there said that he did not want to deal with it because the piercing lady was not there. Their piercer Angie is very professional, clean, down to earth. I got a forward helix done by her and my friend got her nose pierced by Angie as well. My daughter got her nose pierced here, which was a bad experience. It appeared the piercer (the Owner) lacked experience doing nose piercings. He didn't use a nose piercing needle (an ear piercing needle was used), he didn't adjust the jewelry before inserting the piercing needle, and he didn't allow my daughter to choose the jewelry for the piercing. He did the piercing, inserted the jewelry after doing the piercing and then he removed the jewelry to adjust it before reinserting it, which caused some irritation. Following the procedure, there were no instructions given on how to car for the piercing. This was our first experience, so we didn't question the procedure. I came in to get my nose pierced. Jason was great! I was in and out in no time. It was over before I even realized it.

We tried to make an appointment on yelp and ended up just calling before we heard back. Duane was polite when he did finally respond and apologized for the delayed response, but when we went in for our appointment the person who helped us didn't seem aware of our appointment, and was seriously licking his fingers as he walked up to the counter and asked us what we needed. We were quoted nearly $150 more than what we ended up paying elsewhere. Our experience here grossed us out hard core. The employee we dealt with was unsanitary, as was the lobby and the overall appearance of the establishment. Glad we didn't end up using this place. We had a much better experience at a different place called electric art tattoo. The follow up after leaving a review was impressive, perhaps we experienced just an off day at the shop. read more

After the shop did a tattoo job for my sister, the tattoo had gotten infected. This is not the first for her. she had gotten opinions from other tattoo artists of why that would happen and showed them. They said for one, the tattoo was done to deep. Than she reached out to the owner of the shop and shared her concern.. Regardless of a background..for a shop owner..you should always always ALWAYS be PROFESSIONAL!! Specially when addressing a serious situation as a infection on the ankle from a tattoo in which was done in their shop by their tattoo artist. Now her ankle is in a serious point of possible surgery since it hasnt gotten better. For the sake of your health and business relation, do not go to this shop for a tattoo. Thank you. read more
