Got carpet installed in early September.... The carpet was installed half assed and it is constantly losing fabric, . a tepresentatI've came out blaming the manufacturer for the flawed carpet. a retentive from Rite Rug took it on her self to close the case originally. my wife called back and a representative took pictures and opened a new case. now the women from Rite Rug says they are waiting on the manufacturer to warranty it . It is now the end of April.... 7 months later...... Rite Rug has no answers!!! their response is horrible! anyone in the public can call me... We had Riterug come out and lay hardwood through our kitchen, hallway, and laundry room. We had pre-existing wood in the living room. Kim and Jade both came to our house and matched a wood sample. Notice I said A wood sample, they did not bring a variety just one and said it worked. We understood that it would not match perfectly and changed color over time. As you can see in the photo below these were two different types of wood, two different finishes, and two different colors. Jade continued to insist the wood would match in a year, when asked if I could call in a year if it doesn't he laughed. He refused to admit a mistake had been made during matching. The plan was to finger in the new wood with the pre-existing wood. As you can see this was not done, we were told this was not done because the old wood and new wood weren't lining up. We ended up having tear out the wood from the living room and lay new wood to match. Of course this was at our own cost. When the second crew came it was raining so the asked if they could cut in the garage, obviously this was fine. However, they didn't wall off or cover anything so there is layer of sawdust throughout the entire garage. Similar issue in the house, the second time no furniture was covered and no area walled off. It took me a solid 2 hrs cleaning after they left, to include removing wood chips from my cloth furniture, see photo. When I contacted Kim about the issue she was very. Kind and sent a crew over to clean the furniture. When the guy showed up he was annoyed and as you can see below didn't really clean the furniture at all. I am also attaching photos of the damaged trim and putty stuck to the floor, there are multiple areas of both. Lastly, the wood in the family room was perfectly flat before, we now have multiple air bubbles. End of story save the headache and find quality work elsewhere. read more

Ordered my kitchen flooring Feb 22. Was given an estimate 7-10 days for delivery. Called on day 12, my flooring was on back ordered and not expected to be in until mid April. Stoped by the store on Monday, April 19 and my flooring just happened to have been delivered last Friday. No communication, no customer service. Flooring was installed on Thursday, the installer pulled up my new carpet installing the vinyl. They did fix that right away after another phone call. 4 days later I find scratches made by a new bar stool.Another phone call, sent pictures, more promises, nothing resolved. I was told by 3 store employees that the flooring was defective. Numerous phone calls, no one will call me back, when I do get the manager Jade he says customer service will take care of me but still no phone call, no communication and he has no authority to refund my money!. Almost 3 months and still waiting! WTH read more

After 3 separate trips the store to look at different wood flooring options, and extensively discussing possibilities with salesmen, we were given preliminary installation quotes for putting wood floors in our house. Then they came out and measured and we got out official quote. Amazingly, the price doubled over both the install price marked on the flooring we selected, and the verbal prices we were told during our shopping. We were disgusted with the bait and switch, but to add insult to injury, they wouldn't even give us the quote to take home and think about! They wanted to just write the total down on a business card. I left in a huff, and they eventually gave the quote to my husband. At that point my trust had been shattered, though, to say the least. When it comes down to it, their wood prices were competitive, but I wouldn't trust them one bit for install. Don't waist your time trying to get a quote. Find someone you can trust, and hint hint, you'll pay much less, too! read more

Prices are good - but NOT worth the hassle if something goes wrong. Customer Service department is rudimentary at best and lacks training. We have been trying to resolve an issue with our new flooring since May 7. Rite Rug stated that there is an issue with our sub-floor and that they "don't deal with floors - just floor coverings"; that we would be provided an "allowance" to select a new tile that would be "glued down" but we would need to drive to Sawmill Rd (over an hour from our home) to find a larger selection than the local store provided; further inspection by professionals indicates our sub floor is fine and the culprit is a bad installation. Rite Rug Customer Service has made promises to get info back to us same day then takes 3 - 4 weeks and multiple voice mails to find that nothing has been done. Our requests (later demands) to speak to executive management were met with "you can only speak to customer service; we are not allowed to give out any other number" (this was repeated three times by different employees); Now we are stuck with tiles that are separating/popping up and facing the expense of replacing the floor (this time using someone who actually knows what they are doing). read more
