Not to mention, when calling to ask about what they could do to change my opinion/review, I straight up told them that if they would fix the part that they should've (since I've already paid for it) but fix it for "free" (aka don't charge me again???) that I would be pleased and would be more than happy to delete the review. They claimed that they would call me back to see "what they could do" and yet I never heard from them again. It's been over a year and my car's crash sensor was never fixed nor acknowledged again. I have photo evidence of my original review. My original review was: "Very nasty and disrespectful towards women in the service department. Every time I asked a question I'd receive a condescending answer with a cocked head and scrunched face from frank. Very unprofessional. However, when he spoke to my dad or any male - it was with upmost respect." Furthermore they are overpriced and don't do what was asked - again they did NOT fix my sensor.

Took our vehicle in for a lack of acceleration and a check engine light. The only reason we took…read moreour vehicle in to Tamrox was because they offered a loaner vehicle. Otherwise we would've went to our regular trusted mechanic. They did a full inspection and we were told everything they found wrong with our vehicle. Then they discussed cost to repair said items. We were told changing the 3 coil packs on the back of the engine, and new spark plugs would fix the acceleration issue, they never made any mention that there may be a possibility that this wouldn't fix the issue. Which of course was the case, as the problem still exists today. For $3500 they replaced a rear wheel bearing, 3 coil packs and plugs, and a rear knuckle assembly. The very same day we got the vehicle back the rear wheel was squeaking horribly loud. Well apparently they put our brakes back together wrong so we had to go back and have that redone. Then they checked to see why the check engine light came back on and why it was still lacking acceleration. We were then told it would be another $3500 to replace the catalytic converter and 2 of 4 O2 sensors. Mind you the vehicle is a 2014 Explorer with over 200k miles on it. Had we known the first $3500 might not fix our issue, and we might have to spend another $3500 and it still might not be fixed. We surely would've sold the car as is to a mechanic, or scrapped it. In good condition the vehicle is only worth $6-7k. For comparison sake I asked my regular trusted mechanic what they would've charged for what was done, and it was substantially less. So much so that we could've just got a rental car and still would've had money left over, and I guarantee they would've properly diagnosed the vehicle and fixed it right the first time. You live and you learn, take it from me you don't want to go here, they like to throw parts at the problem, and they don't properly communicate that their idea for a "fix" might not be correct one. Aside from that they are ridiculously over priced compared to their competitors.

Starting with the super friendly front desk staff, everyone at Ross-Beakes was helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Throughout my entire process of getting my 2018 Honda CRV repaired, the team at Ross-Beakes kept in close communication with me, provided information and details of possible scenarios, and took the time to answer any questions I had. They were up front about estimates and honest about the expected time frame for repair. The team more than delivered on their promise. They worked closely with State Farm insurance and have won a bunch of awards for Honda service. When I picked up my CRV I had a question about a panel that had been previously damaged while parked and the front desk staff went back and got the service staff to explain to me the issue and breakdown of the cost to repair in depth. They are always busy but take care of every individual customer. I've had a total of two issues I've brought into this place. The first one was a piece on my prior 2008 Honda Civic which they fixed for free and the gentleman tried to decline my cash tip at first. Then repairing the rear of my CRV was an extremely smooth process. Additionally, thy washed my car and cleaned the inside of it (which had nothing to do with the rear damage) and it looks great! I will definitely always be returning to Ross-Beakes if the need arises.
