Not only are they out of my much needed new medication, they couldn't be bothered to call and let me know! I spent two weeks, thinking the delay was from waiting for approval from my insurance. NOPE, I had to call to find out they are out of stock once again, no estimated time of arrival - and they couldn't be bothered to call me! I always try to keep patronizing local businesses here, but I'll never give any business to this pharmacy ever again. Not worth the wasted time and inconvenience.

When it was my turn, finally, a woman called me to the counter. But then she immediately DISAPPEARED! When she returned several minutes later, she started helping the customer next to me. Meantime, not one but two customers BEHIND me in line were already served at another register! When she told me to "hold on" I told her that she already walked away while the other customers were served. That's when a THIRD person went to the other register. At that point I said that the cashier at that register should be serving ME, not the other customer because that customer was THREE places behind me. When the woman started making weird excuses, I overpowered what she was saying, telling her that I'm not gonna put up with her nonsense and mistreatment. I got my message across because she told the other worker to come help me instead, which he did. I think the reason why is because she didn't know what she was doing. Monello (not sure the spelling) was the guy that helped me. He went through the entire process like he was on steroids! He guided me on the screen inputs and then did the rest tapping all the stuff that has to be entered, rang me up, and I was finished before I even KNEW I was finished! So, you probably already figured out how I arrived at my rating. That's right. The offensive treatment by the women server immediately dropped it to the minimum - one star. But when Manello took over, his service was outstanding which drove it up a notch!

The reason this place has 2 stars is because Walgreens has an app that allows you to refill and because they have a drive thru. When you're sick you do not want to crawl inside. Pretty convenient, because it's close to home. Originally Escondido didn't want a Walmart at all, but I guess they finally caved because of the tax revenue. It's usually busy, but not insanely so. You can get a parking place that isn't too far away, unlike the bigger locations. And checkout lines can get a little bit long, because there usually aren't many lanes open. Because it's smaller, it's not too difficult to find things. They have a few things that the bigger ones don't carry, and they may have things left when other locations are out. That happened during the pandemic, definitely.

NEVER has our prescriptions ready on time when they say they'll have them ready! The most recent…read morescrew up was on Friday 12/2. I had to go down to our incompetent healthcare clinic in person since it's impossible to get an actual human there on the phone and get them to call the pharmacy in order to have my partner's meds filled. Rite Aid claimed they had no record of my partner calling them first about it when he said he did multiple times. On my way home I stopped in at this location we go to and double checked if they were working on filling the prescriptions. I was told by the girl at the counter that all of them were except one because they didn't have a refill order for it, but the others would be ready in an hour. Even though my partner already gets notified when his prescriptions are ready, he was at work at the time. So I had her put in my phone number to be notified as well when they'd be ready. Needless to say, neither of us were notified. My partner then stopped in on his way home from work and to no surprise they STILL weren't ready! The next day on Saturday 12/3 he finally got the notification that his prescriptions were ready. When he went to pick them up, he was then told they couldn't be given to him because they didn't have the doctor's release authorization. Granted that's also the fault of True Care. However, you'd think the pharmacist would make the effort to call the clinic in order to get it. Especially before the weekend when most of the departments are closed and there'd most likely not be a doctor in the office for them to talk to and get the authorization. Now we can't get my partner's meds he needs and have to continue to wait until the next business day. Funny side note: on Sunday 12/4 I myself finally got the notification that the prescriptions were ready. Doesn't matter now since we can't get them. When the hell are these people going to realize that a person's health and livelihood doesn't run on a 9-5 Monday through Friday schedule?! Unbelievable incompetence putting people's health at risk.
