TlDR: Don't go to the one down the street next to CVS…read more It is hard for me to give Vons 5 stars because of their prices. $5.49 for a Lucerne gallon of milk is insanity, but I will say I prefer this Vons over the one down the street on El Norte Parkway next to CVS. This one is much brighter, cleaner and organized. Also, the workers are friendly! So if you are comparing the two, I recommend this one. Trust me. Go to the other one and you'll understand. Since the prices are similar, just stick with the Vons off Nutmeg.

They changed the deli recently and I'm not the biggest fan. I personally like my deli meat slices fresh. Hope they change it back! Love how the store is set up. It has a good flow on the floor. The workers that I've personally experienced have all been friendly! At check out you ca not use credit card. By the fruits, there's a small gift shop that sells random things like blankets and toys. They had awesome inflated foil balloon options. I also got fresh ceviche here, tostadas, and frozen ceviche. The bad: The tables were all a bit dirty in the food court. The interesting: This is a chain market based in SoCal.

As always, the store is bright with pretty displays of flowers and flyer items of new foodie products! The employees are always stocking, ordering, or helping someone. It has your produce, frozen meals, meats, snacks, drinks, baked goods and more. It has flyer items. The uniqueness makes us frequent the store over and over again! Curiously, there are two deli / markets in the same parking lot, and both are great for their own reasons. Their pepperoni pineapple pizza is one of the best ones we've ever had. The sandwiches are all great, but the Meadows Favorite is one of the best (tri tip, bbq sauce, onions) + the Italian is a great cold sub sandwich. They have a lot of wine at this store (aisles and aisles) as well as a lot of International grocery items. Definitely fun to peruse and find some new favorites from all over the world.

A good addition is the sushi section, because not many locations have that. They often do $5 Friday sushi offers, but obviously only at locations that carry it. The front of the store is rearranged slightly, but a lot of the aisles are similar. Across the sides and back haven't changed much, so the front is changed the most. The self checkout lanes are now in the more common feeder style, as opposed to back to back style like before. They also rearranged the parking lot slightly, including adding a couple of the strange straight-in handicap spots that you see at some of the Walmarts.

I usually buy meat and seafood at Major Market across town, but was in a hurry so on 6/10/26 at…read morearound 4:30 PM I stopped at this nearby Albertson's. It's a fine store, especially after the remodel. I needed Italian sausage and was at the meat counter looking at options. A woman called out from the back asking if I need anything, so I told her and asked if the only Italian sausage they have is the mild one in the display case. She said they have more in packages around the corner and there are two brands, Cantellas and Johnsonville. I asked which is better quality and she said in a snotty tone "I don't know, I don't eat sausage". The fact that I was asking for her professional opinion and not personal preferences was lost on her. I'm never buying anything from that meat/seafood counter again. I tried several times to report this via the Albertson's website, but their contact form was not working. Anyway, I went around to the packaged options and bought some Johnsonville mild Italian sausage. Damn if it wasn't the absolute worst chewy tasteless sausage I've ever had. Literally threw it away.
