I've had mixed experiences here, the last 3 carwashes I had this place do were questionable, but I keep hoping for it to turn around. Over the weekend I had them do the $60 hand wax carwash, which i was given a $10 discount on because it was birthday. I come back a little over an hour later and the person wiping my truck down said it was done - i then proceeded to use my fingers to wipe off little bug spots on my door and bedside that made it 100% clear to me that they DID NOT perform any hand wax on my truck. Today, i see tall streaks of oily cleaner coming down my tailgate. I will be going back there for a full refund as soon as possible. This place is very slow. My car has been washed a few times here. The actual wash is average. The price for a basic wash is 15. I brought my car in at 2:30, paid at 2:31, and it's 3:27 and I'm watching the guy slowly shuffle around my car drying it off. Showed up the front of the car was worse then when I left it they waxed half the car and decided to stop on the hood. I spoke to Robert and Jon they told them to clean it but geeeeez. They took it in and when it came back out it literally was exactly the same they didn't even wash the hood again so I called Jon again and they put a little wax and that was it. I don't usually review places but I absolutely love James, an employee in the mart. He is the kindest person, with such an amazing personality. My boyfriend and I separately and together love to come to this place for gas, drinks, car wash, etc just to see James. So I recommended this car wash to my wife because it's the best one I've found in the area. But she went over there today, she specifically asked thathey vacuum the back trunk area of the car, because she had just spent some time at the beach. they didn't even try to do it. when she pointed out to them the trunk wasn't vacuumed they claimed the vacuums were now closed(it was close to five). It's easy, if you're going to charge $25 to wash a car do it right and do it to the customers satisfaction. Otherwise don't do it at all. Now we have to spend more money to go and do it ourselves. Which makes me ask myself why did we just spend $25? read more

Sometime in January of 2020 my husband drove his truck to North County Auto Center going by (aka) Wash & Mart for a car wash for the FIRST TIME. After receiving his car he got in to drive away and the Dodge Ram emblem on his steering wheel fell off after driving a half block down the road. He went back into the station attendant and asked for a manager. The attendant said the manager wasn't there, so he left his business card and cell phone number. He decided to use gorilla glue to glue the emblem back on. On June 27th he decided to give NCAC/ Wash & Mart a second chance as his truck needed a wash. On 6/27/20 was his SECOND TIME at the car wash. He was sitting in his truck while one of the employees was quickly drying the truck with rags. Watching his rag gets stuck in the wipers and a corner piece of the wiper snaps off. He patiently watched and the employee gave up and tried to make it look like the wiper was in place. He got out and lifted the wiper and it fell apart. My husband immediately asked for a manager and a man by the name of "John" gives him a card and says just leave your information. He was rude and impatient and acted as if he was a nuisance. My husband asked him if someone would call and he said yes. He asked for the name of the owners and he refused to tell. He asked him for his last name (not on his card) and he refused. All the while my husband was trying to talk to him he kept talking with other people almost like nothing happened. NCAC/ Wash & Mart was rude and unprofessional. This is the short version of the story. We will NEVER go there again. We normally support local businesses all the time. They will NEVER get our money again. read more

I'm really disappointed with my overall experience here. I have a bran new car and never ever take my car to get washed by anyone yet alone a machine. I was greeted as I pulled in , I asked for a hand wash with all the bells and whistles I believe it was $30. It was Saturday and they happened to have a sale going and said they offer me a wax and detail all for $45 dollars . In less than 20 mins my car was ready. I couldn't believe it ? You would think that for $45 they would spend more time and detail to the car ? Turns out these guys were closing and wanted to leave . So they half assed my detail. The dashboard wasn't cleaned , there was dirt still left all over the car and water marks everything you don't want to see on your car after you paid so much money for a wash . I've been going to Wash & Mart for many years and the service was excellent. However, since the predemic and the lost of there regular personnel, the service has gone down hill. Not only have they increased there prices, but the service isn't worth a red cent. It took all of 5 minutes to have my car wiped down (and a horrible job it was). When i negledcted to mention I was a veteran, the person (who claimed to be the manager) refused to honor my discount. They didn't even vacuum my car. There are many other car washes in Escondido, and I will be trying them out. I suggest anyone who plans to go to Wash and Mart, go somewhere else read more

I needed a wax so I paid $50 for the wax/detail (reg $60). I've been coming here for 17 years, since my office is nearby. I knew that the $15 wash would be fine, cuz when they dry your car, they really clean out the inside well, vacuum, dashboard, etc.. I've had bad experiences when I've let them talk me into the extras (wax, wash mats, which they never dry well enough so they stink up your car with mildew, etc.). So, I got the wax/detail. They asked for an Joe and I came back 1 1/2 hours. My car was "ready" so I checked. They hadn't vacuumed the backseat, hadn't touched the dashboard, and hadn't wiped down the leather seats. I complained and the manager screamed at his guys to get it done right. I gave them 15 min cuz had to leave. I come back and realized that they didn't touch/wax the roof of my car. I tried to show him and he yelled at me for complaining to much. They lost a good customer today. Tons of decent car washes that will at least attempt to do what they guarantee the first time around and behave with more respect for their customers. read more

First time coming here and I'm a bit disappointed:( I recently bought a used car and it had dog hairs and mud on the seats so I needed to get a detailed wash for my car so I came here, after an hour/35minutes I came back for the car and to be honest you could still see mud stains on the seats and hairs all around the seat edges and even on the bottom of the seats and trunk so it was not a premium detail service like they said to me, it was more of a "rushed detailed" to me cuz I will still need to give it a second vacuum and even my boyfriend noticed they did a poor job vacuuming the car so I would not recommend this place unless you're like me first time costumer and don't know what to expect from them! can't believe I paid $110.00 for an Ok" detailed job... maybe some employees perform better than others but my first impression is to not come back:/ read more

I am pretty nit picky when it comes to the detail so I only bring my car here to these guys because they do it right.
