This review is specifically for the main store. I appreciated the helpfulness of the tall gentleman who was helpful in identifying clearance Christmas items. Without hesitation checked & confirmed that wrapping paper was in fact NINETY % off!!! Checking out couldn't have been more pleasant & accurate. Kevin cheerfully greeted me, handled my items carefully and since there were no other customers behind me we chatted a bit. We shared our thoughts about the importance of being familiar with other languages. He practiced a little tagalog (Philippine language) & I mentioned i could get by with a little Spanish. Came here on a Monday night for a quick pharmacy run and some ice cream. It was around 8pm when we arrived. Ice cream was done by the time we arrived. They just closed up shop (there's a Thrifty Ice Cream stand in the store) which has 10 flavors to choose from. The line for the pharmacy was quite long for the time and day we went. There was about 8 people in line. Staff there was warm. Was either happy to see us or happy it was the end of the shift. Either way, they were super approachable. Shelves were quite bare in the rest of the store. We looked for a couple of items and it wasn't available. This location isn't the biggest but not the smallest. There's some cool things you can find but it's not enough to warrant going out of the way to get here. Some of the items you can find cheaper elsewhere. Lots of spaces in the parking lot. So that'll never be a problem. Okay spot. 3 stars pretty much sums up the place. Nice energy throughout. read more

Rite Aid was an all time favorite neighborhood pharmacy, for the family and myself. Since my medical and family plans have changed, I now use the pharmacy's hospital and Walmart for most of my medication and OTC needs. During the holidays, I looked forward to the rows of stocked decorations and treats, at this Rite Aid. Each year, I would come home with a new front door deco, new lights or whatever it was that was in need of replacement that year. Lots of great holiday shopping memories here. I must high light the ice cream isle. Still loyal and my favorite section of the store. I haven't shopped at Rite Aid since early summer time. From the looks of the store, a lot has happened since then. I was sadden to see how empty-looking the shelves looked. Almost ghost town-ish. Somehow, walking through the entrance door of this Rite Aid, had lost its spark. Besides staff at register saying, "hello," that was probably the only spark I felt inside the store. It was also disappointing to see the liquor isles at bare bones. Yet, the ice cream across from it was looking stacked. Im not sure what to recommend but I'm still a fan of Rite Aid ice cream. read more

Just a heads up if your going for a tetanus shot and have Medical only, it will not cover the shot on a minor child. I was refer by my urgent care to rite aid to get my son a tetanus shot, after an injury. They do offer to pay out of pocket which I did and that had a price of $56.25. Incredibly horrible service. My family stood at the ice cream station and after deciding what we all wanted was told to get in line to pay first at the register. I normally don't shop at Rite Aide. The only thing I would come here for us their ice cream. They have awesome flavors of ice cream. This location is fairly small. They have snacks, food, etc. One time I went here to purchase some make-up and found some of the lipstick tubes open. Gross! This seems more of if you need something, stop by here. You can find a few cool things. There is a private parking lot up front. Normally there is only one register that is open. I personally would just come here for the ice cream. You can purchase the cone or in a cup. Really great treat. read more

BEWARE: Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. Do not pickup your prescription from this place. My prescription has steadily gone up for the last 3 months from $10-$25-$50. When I ask why their response is "I don't know ask your insurance". Little do they know I have asked my insurance and have found out that they do not stock my $10 prescription they only stock the most expensive version of my prescription. But do they know that? Of course not because why would the people at a pharmacy know anything about the prescriptions they are selling. These people obviously don't get paid to think at this pharmacy take your business somewhere where they can use their brains to help their customers. I wish I could give them zero stars. If you hate your job so much work somewhere else!!!! Great job trying your best to lose a customer because I will never pick up another prescription from your lame excuse for a pharmacy ever again. Note to manager: get your staff some customer service training maybe they can pick up a few tips if they go back to working in fast food. read more

A couple days ago I went in to Rite Aid to pick up a couple of things. From the moment I walked in I was greeted, wished happy shopping, and was told that if I needed anything the associate was there to help me. After finding all of what I needed I made my way to the cash register and the same young man that greeted me made the whole process at the register comforting and easy. The 6am workers did not know what he was doing for trading cards transaction. He proceeding to tell me and my friend it was 1 pack per call which is absurd, because other locations are doing 1 per person or fcfs. Will need to check the morning workers with higher management because this is ridiculous. Drove 20 mins out of my way just to hear 1 pack per call. read more

Staff is usually very nice, they greet you as they walk in. Unfortunately, the pharmacist Robert was very rude when I came for my prescription. He had horrible customer service and was told he didn't want to "deal with my problem." What ever that meant. I have been going to this rite aid for 20 years and as long as he's working there I will never come back again and will get my medication somewhere else. read more

This review is SPECIFICALLY for the pharmacy staff. You can tell they hate their job. They are so rude. I hate that this is the closet pharmacy to me. They need to train on customer service again. Like coming to this rite aid, I am always greeted by the employees. As usual I go in for one thing and come out with 5. Kevin noticed my hands were full and was kind to bring me a basket, he was attentive and made my shopping experience great like the rest of the employees there. Pharmacy Review : Ive been a customer here for some months now (bc my insurance is taken here), and while the pharmacy has typically been stocked with any meds I've ever needed, the pharmacists and their assistants are literally the rudest people I've ever encountered. They seem like they hate their jobs, and it's a complete inconvenience that anyone needs to pick up their meds. Thanks neighborhood Rite Aid. I think I'll start taking my business to CVS. read more

WHAT IS UP WITH THE LINES AT THIS RITE AID?????? The wait time is unbearable. I waited in line for over 25 minutes recently while the line had backed up even further than where I started. It went to the back of the store. They really pissed some people off that day and would only encourage customers to shop elsewhere. They never put any of the microbrew in the coolers besides Sierra Nevada. They have the regular selection as any other Rite-Aid but they leave it in the back of the store at room temperature. Some Rite-Aids just do it that way. Customer service has always been on point and no complaints there. Need more staffing on weekends because it is just too busy. read more

The pharmacist at this location is extremely rude, he is a young Hispanic man, I did not get his name, any how he asked me for my insurance card, I did not have it, I've been coming here for 9 years and only been asked for it once. He was rude with me because he was having issues and couldn't figure out the system and just assumed I had medi-cal!! Which I dont! Ok way to to profile someone. They also have a wide variety of snacks and beverages, but I'm not quite sure I understand their logic on how they've grouped things together. You can find some of the same exact product on different shelves. Maybe that's their strategy - seeing an item repeatedly may cause you to subconsciously think you need to purchase that item? Hmmmmm. This is a perfect small town Rite Aid. I frequently go here to shop. It is stocked well, always clean, it always follows the seasons in terms of having a marvelous selection of decorations, it has a great kids game and toy section, greeting card selection, holiday and beach section (they even have skim boards boogie boards and towels). This location goes the extra mile to add items that you would need in a beach town. They are outfitted for the setting. I have bought many Birthday presents here for my friends and my son's friends, as well as super hero toys for my son when he was younger. They have a fine photo department where you can get prints cameras and frames for a reasonable price! It's my everything store! Great for gifts, souvenirs, medicine, pharmacy, photo developing, make up, hair products you name it! The staff is so friendly and polite when ever you don't know where anything is, they always do. Alan, John, Mathew, Lupita, Rita, Claudia and Alex are a great crew. They are really sweet and helpful! The staff also participates in charity work. Last week John and Lupita were outside of Rite Aid collecting donations for Rady's Children's hospital. Mathew baked some of the best cup cakes I have ever tasted which were a prize to customers that donated to Rady's. If you're a tourist or a resident you will love this Rite Aid and the welcoming staff that works there! read more
