Im really not sure why people haven't rated this at least average as in it is a fine store. Nothing stupendous but does the trick. First of all im not sure how they stay upenn because there never seems to be more than a few people in here at a given time. But im very happy they are. We come here often for prescriptions. It's nice to have a place close that is open a lot! They have some weird rules like...I was turning in a prescription for my mom... not picking it up just turning it in. They required all of my information... as in all of it. Um why?? You're not giving me any medication im just a delivery girl essentially to give the script to you to fill. I would absolutely understand if I was picking anything up... The aisles are clear, clean and accessible. Most of the time I feel they are fully stocked. Service overall is ok. This Rite Aid Pharmacy on Echo Hollow Rd in Eugene charged us $420.00 for a prescription that should have only been $11.17. They neglected to run it through our insurance. We were told by the pharmacist that the $420.00 was our co-pay. I called our insurance company on the next business day and was told that Rite Aid never used or insurance information, that they over charged us by over $400.00 dollars. We were told to go back to Rite Aid for a credit of the over charge. When we returned the pharmacist was rude and disrespectful! He told us we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be helped. It turned out to be over an hour. Makes me wonder how many other people have been over charged by this pharmacy! They do not follow protocol. They are over charging customers! BEWARE! read more

My partner and I had booster shot appointments scheduled for today (we made the appointments back in November) and when we showed up for our appointments the pharmacy had just decided they were closing at 6pm, when our first appointment was supposed to be at 6:40pm. No notice, no rescheduling option - just closed. The lady working there (by herself it seemed) was nice but seemed exasperated, sounds like this is not the first time they've just decided to close early with no notice to anyone. I have finally given up after this pharmacy screwed up horribly three times, worst of which was after I signed up for a COVID booster online, got daily reminder emails and texts, and had even spoken with a tech in person just a few weeks before the shot, I showed up and was told they didn't have a COVID shot for me. The tech that day acted like I was an irritant for being there at all, and said corporate doesn't know what they do or do not have at their location. So I have been more than two weeks at trying to get a prescription for my asthma transferred away from them, a prescription with refills that I am out of pills for. They suddenly replied to the new pharmacy claiming they'd transferred it to Fred Meyer's back in June. I never asked them to do that, and when I called Fred Meyer's, they have no record of this. Rite Aid's own site confirms I last filled it with them in October. Incompetence or intentional, it's ridiculous. This medication affects my breathing. Imagine what they're doing with more dire medications for others. read more

Another member for the "Shit List..." For years now, I've had to take Prilosec to keep my stomach functioning correctly. Without my stomach meds, i'm a wreck. doubled over, can't walk, put me in the ER type sick. So when it comes to working with a pharmacy who can be efficient, it's a must. I normally use Sav-On off Royal, so i'm FORCED to use Rite-Aid since their closest to home and are the only pharmacy that offers the 20mg capsules. On FRIDAY morning, I called Rite-Aid and asked them to put in the request to fill my Rx. The gentleman who answered the phone assured me my Rx would be filled later that day, and that he would put in a request for adding refills to my current Rx. GREAT! On Sunday, I was down to 1 capsule. I NEED 2 a day in order for it to work properly. Sooooo I hopped in my car and drove down to the pharmacy to get my Rx that I called in 48+ hours prior. When I arrive, I get the "They never got back to us" excuse. Cute. The lady behind the counter was able to offer me an "emergency supply" for that day. That was very nice of her, but now this means I have to come back on Monday and jump through hoops again. Fine...no worries. Last night I called Rite-Aid and asked if my Rx was ready for pick up. They stated, "Oh...we haven't got to that yet (I called this in twice now), but it will be ready in just a minute okay?" My response was, "How long is just a minute?" "Uhhhhh, Like, 30-45 minutes?" I gave the pharmacy 1 hour to fill my Rx, then I headed down to pick it up. Once I arrived to pick up my Rx, I get this....."Oh, that hasn't been called in yet. Wait. Yeah it was, hold on....Nope it wasn't. Oh yeah it was! Wait, Hmmmm, I don't know? Let me check ***5 minutes passes***, give us 5 minutes we'll get it ready." Shaking my head, I stepped back to let others pick up their Rx while I patiently waited for my Rx. I watched 3 walk-ups come and go, and seen 2 other Rx's filled and leave while I was waiting. I couldn't figure out WTF was going on, but I was getting ready to come unglued. "Mr Jones (whoever the customer was), Your Rx is ready, OH! and Josh, your's is ready too by the way!" Mr Jones (assuming that's his name) was kind enough to let me go and get my Rx so I could end my 40 minute wait at Rite-Aid. The reason it took so long? "Ohhhhhh we thought you left. I didn't see you out there so I thought you were gone and so I put it back up on the shelf! hahaha, ohhhh goodness, sorry about that! hahaha" Even one of the ladies working in the pharmacy said, "How could you miss him? He's very tall and has on a bright green jacket!?!?" This was the type of shit I experienced the first time I left this place. Again, I wouldn't come here if Sav-On carried the correct dose of Prilosec. Make sure you call in your Rx 108 hours before you're ready to pick it up. read more

Words cannot express how much I loathe - yes! L-o-a-t-h-e- going to this pharmacy. The only reason we have prescriptions sent there is because it is the closest pharmacy to our home. Time and time again I have called in prescription refills and have gone the following day to pick them up and- low and behold- they aren't filled. What was it that Einstein said? Oh yeah, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, I must be fricken insane because I have been dealing with this scenario for over 10 fricken years! Yesterday morning I called in a refill on my prescription for migraines and ended up having a migraine this evening with no meds in the house for it. I drive down there to get the prescription for it ( you have to take it within 30 minutes of the onset or it won't work). I stand in line for 15 minutes while they call over the loudspeaker for a cashier to come to the pharmacy, and the response over the intercom back is " Sorry all cashiers are busy at the front". When I get to the front of the line they can't find the 2 prescriptions- the one I had called in yesterday- and another my doctor called in at 8am this morning. I am then told "We're running behind and it's going to take 45 minutes to fill this." I was like "Excuse me? Running behind?! I called in the refill yesterday morning!" No apology, nothing. The lady in front of me in line who was there to pick up her prescription (whose wasn't filled either got a "sorry" and a "we'll fill this within 10-15 minutes". What?! Does she have a frequent customer card for preferential treatment or something?! Or is the lady behind the counter with the long black hair prejudiced against women with blonde hair? WTF?! I mean, the lady in front of me in line had black hair too and got sympathy and a quick prescription fill. Every single time they have done this to me with a prescription, it has been this same lady who never apologizes sincerely about not having a prescription filled even though I have had refill requests sent in up to 4 days before without it being ready when I get there. I guess they feel they are safe from going under by filling all those Cialis and Viagra the pharmaceutical companies keep pumping out to people. I'm sorry, you only get to call it "running behind" when you are maybe an hour late. 2, 3, 4 days? That's what I call utter incompetence. I had to go down to Urgent care to get 2 shots to get rid of my migraine due to their incompetence - I should send them the bill- thank god it wasn't a life threatening medication emergency or I'd be dead. Unless you aren't in a hurry and don't mind incompetence, I'd steer clear of this pharmacy. At this point I'd be willing to drive to Timbuktu itself to get a prescription filled. I know for a fact I would get a prescription filled there sooner than if I opt to get it filled down the street. I would give this place negative stars if could, but Yelp makes you give at least one star. Bleh. I'm taking my business to Costco or Bimart from now on. Time to listen to Einstein. read more

By and far the most incompetent pharmacy I've ever heard of, let alone been to. I have never in my life had to wait more than 45 minutes for a prescription, until I discovered this place. I promise you it is not an exaggeration that when they say 20 minutes it could very well take 2 days to get filled. My theory is that if you say you'll come back, they will ignore your prescription. So it's only 20 minutes if you are sitting there staring at them. read more

This place is horrible! Tried to get my prescriptions on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago. The lady receptionist at the pharmacy told me they were not ready and I can come back on Monday and they will be ready. I went back on Monday, and she told me not ready again. A lady pharmacist explained that she had to order for both prescriptions, and I can come back the next day after 3pm, and they will definitely be ready. To be safe, I went back the day following the next day. I also tried to call before I went in, but nobody answered the phone. Unfortunately, a guy receptionist told me they are still not ready, and they do not have an estimate when they will be!!! So I went in three times trying to pick up my prescriptions , but failed. Every time I had to wait in line for over 10 minutes and just to be told they are not ready, not to mention the time I spent on the road! The last guy's attitude was really bad too. Do not know how such a horrible place could still be running. I called rite aid customer service to file a complaint, and the lady who received the phone call told me she notified the upper management and they will give me a call, but two weeks now, I heard nothing. I have been going to this Pharmacy and store for 7 + years. They couldn't be nicer. Love the Pharmacy. They take very good care of us and explain things and try to find the cheapest method - for us, etc. Love this entire store. The Managers couldn't be MORE HELPFUL! Just great!! I don't understand the other Reviews... I don't. I am in no way related to anyone in this store, nor have stock in it. The people at that Rite Aid try 100% to help me in every area of my shopping, there. Shopped in Rite Aid on the east coast before... also great. Moved out west here, same thing. The staff are friendly. They are always super busy, but if you let them know you're coming in they'll take care of your needs immediately. They are professional and truly act as a liaison between patients and doctors office in the pharmacy. Also, the best vitamin deals you'll find in town. A good pharmacy is essential for as I have various health challenges and need my prescriptions filled on a regular basis. I actually switched to this particular pharmacy from a nother one here in town that I can almost guarantee is worse than the reviews being said about this specific Rite Aid. I do have to tell ya folks, Dave the pharmacist here at this location has assisted me several times now and his word has been pretty good for me. Four stars for the good service thus far, (2 months & counting), time will tell and familiarity will set in. For now, they are aces in my book. read more

This store has the worst customer service of any drugstore I have ever done business with. In spite of the fact that I am a paying customer with insurance and have been going there for 3 months now, I am always told that they don't have my prescription ready. They say it is because they cant find me in their computer, in spite of the fact that I phoned my refill in and was told by their automated system that my refill would be ready. The people in the pharmacy appear to computer illiterate on a very deep level. I did call to complain this last time to the store manager and was told that he has not control over that part of the store. Hello, you are the store manager.
