Disappointed on one of the vitamins I was going to purchase. I noticed it was going to expire in less than a month so I looked at the remaining supply. The others were expiring with the month as well. I brought it to the attention of the employee and she got the manager and she would not remove it from the shelf. I was offered 10% off. Why would I want expired vitamins? Anyway I passed on them. Weeks later I had to go to the pharmacy and pick up some medication and the vitamins are still sitting on the shelf... Expired. read more

I don't know what is happening at this store but it's been going downhill for months. Months ago I remarked on the lack of inventory and was told that another day it would be stocked. I've gone in several times since and the shelves are getting emptied. This was an awesome store with quality products. Not sure what's going on. I have been getting my family's prescriptions here for over 20 years. I should have written this review years ago. In 20+ years, I've never had a member of the pharmacy staff treat me anything but professionally and kind. They are patient even when customers are rude with them. Obviously they deal with many people who are feeling sick, stressed, or anxious and I've always seen them go out of their ways to be nice. More than once, the pharmacists or staff have gone above and beyond to find a way to bring the cost of medications down for me. I feel really lucky that this Rite Aid is my pharmacy. read more

I visited Rite-Aid today and while it may be a very nice store, I went for my first COVID shot. A very lovely and caring young lady tech administered my shot, and I only felt a little pressure. I had been so scared and apprehensive as I hadn't gotten a shot in my arms in many years, only in my hip area, and this was unbelievable. I went and had a big lunch after and I don't know what she added to that shot, but I've been eating ever since I got home. I want to give the young lady full credit, her name is Sinan, so ask for her by name and maybe you'll get as lucky as I hope I am next month, going for the second shot. I like this Rite Aid because Starbucks is right door and it located right down the street from me. Hey, at least I am honest. But really, this location is quite nice. The place is always clean and well stocked, unless it is Sunday, in the middle of a big sale, and some of those smaller retailers come through and wipe everything out. only to re-sell it, at higher price, at their stores. What is up with that? Can I have at least one candy bar or bottle of Gatorade. Okay, I'm done venting........phew. The Pharmacy is very good here. Oh yes, I love places that devote a whole aisle to candy. A whole aisle: I am actually a little boy in a candy store. You got to love it. Customer service is terrible. More often than not, the pharmacy doesn't answer the phone. I understand that they are overworked at this time. However, I have been put on hold as a person waiting in line to pick up my prescription so someone in the pharmacy could take a phone call. Also there's regularly only like three people behind the counter who are running around frantically trying to serve everyone. Rite Aid can certainly afford to have more people working at one time. read more

Love this rite aid. I can always find what I need and be on my way in a timely manner. The pharmacy is a little slow depending on who's working... but no big deal. I always come here for my Thrifty's Ice Cream fix. My go to flavor is the Chocolate Malt Crunch. YUM! So good in a cup or cone. This time I opted for a sugar cone. Worst customer service EVER !!!! We tried to buy a pack of lighters from a middle eastern woman working the checkout and she asked for I.D. My boyfriend was surprised that you have to be 18 buy lighters and he asked with great surprise, and said" REALLY"? In Spanish. The woman looked at him and rudely said "I will not sell you lighters if you have that attitude" he asked to just sell him the lighters, showed her his I.D and she continued to have an attitude. I chimed in and told her that she has to deal with jerk customers all day and that she just needs to smile and keep working. I then loudly said "let it go, just let it go" and she got even more irate and said "I will not sell you the lighters then" at that point, we gave up and walked out. Stopped by here since I was shopping at Kohl's. I needed a quick gallon of milk for my toddler son and decided to try out this rite aid. There was five people in line so was fairly disappointed since I wanted this to be a fast pace transaction. The employer Yesenia changed all that. She had both registers opened and did two customers at a time which helped out a lot! She was courteous and had great customer service skills all while being fast paced. I was visiting my family in the area and my daughter came down with a fever. I went into this store and realized how big this store was as I am from a small town. I was having a hard time finding the motrin, so I asked a cashier if she could help and the manager walked up and showed me exactly where the mortin was. I was thankful that I didn't have to wonder all around the store as I had my daughter with me. The store was beautiful and I enjoyed seeing all the decor they had. Waiting at a bank of registers I saw one lone staff person dishing out ice cream but no cashiers. They finally call for a second but he goes to help the ice cream scooper. Worst pharmacy! Apparently there are people or customers who have seniority. I called in to see if my prescription was ready, because I was running late. I waited on hold for so long that I was waiting in line and still on the phone. There was no one in line and two people working. The man answered the phone and I said "hello I'm waiting in line and I waved to him. He smiled at me and walked to me. Wanted to charge me $300 for a GENERIC prescription. The pharmacist sold me 5 pills for $30 (Discounted price of $6 per pill) to give me time to get a script for a substitute medication. Got the entire 60 pill prescription filled at Costco (no membership needed) for $16 (26.6 cents per pill). Emailed Rite Aid corporate and got a call back from a local regional Mgr who, without apology, said their prices were in line with CVS. Never getting my business again. read more

This is a tough review to write, because the good is so good and the bad so bad. I unfortunately suffer from a very painful nerve disease, and have to take pain medicine for survival. I highly agree that all pharmacies should follow all protocols when it comes to pain meds. As unfortunately these medicines are abused by so many people and they ruin it for those who really need them. Anyways it's hard enough to know you need these meds, and even harder when u are treated badly by the pharmacist. The pharmacy manager Marcella, NO-MATTER WHAT gives me a hard time about my medications. I follow ALL the rules to the tee, and she always finds something to question. She's just so mean and belittles me and my wife when have to go in there. On the other hand, the other pharmacist Quinn is AMAZING! She is so kind and understanding. She follows all the rules that again I respect, but she's just a pleasure to work with. Marcella needs to be reminded that some of us are literally dying. We don't deserve to be treated like junkies. We are also professionals, educated, and have lives outside of our medicines. We are people with hearts and souls. However life has thrown us a few curve balls. The time we have left on this earth means everything to us, and so does the medicine that allows us to live out our lives with as little pain as possible.
