Great customer service! They offer vaccines, testing and they carry a good variety of products in their store.

Wheelchair Rental Review…read more I was leaving for a cruise in 36 hours. My teenager injured herself. She was on crutches and a boot. If you're a cruiser, those decks are like a slippery slope to danger zone. Well canceling the cruise was out the equation - although the cruise was accommodating with the change. Where could I get a wheelchair? Swap meet? Craigslist? Family friend? YELP saved the day and Homecare had high reviews for rentals. And they were open on Saturday. I rented a wheelchair from Homecare as a temporary mobility support for an injured teen. Cost was $65 or $95 a week. Maybe I'm inverting numbers. When I called every question was answered, prices were disclosed without hmmm-ing and haaa-ing. I arrived and literally from entry to completed transaction was 15 minutes. I rented the chair for a month. The chair was sturdy, easy to push or self-roll on sidewalks, pull on a hill, lightweight, easy to fold, easy to pick up and store in the trunk of a sedan. Remember the chair was used at cruise ports, elevators, on the ship, stadiums, restaurants and a couple of festivals with no challenges. It was also easy to clean and odorless. This store is well laid out for safety. Wheelchairs and walkers can navigate comfortably. The urgent care didn't properly fill out a prescription for my wife, we couldn't say five words without having to catch her breath, to get a nebulizer. The staff spent time on the phone with urgent care. Then wrote their own prescription and faxed it over to them to get signed off.

We read the reviews, but we found nothing we read was accurate. It was a Saturday, so maybe that was a factor. There were three helpful staff members and signs everywhere about all sales being final. My 95 year old mother was fixated on getting a cane, but uses a walker and should be avoiding canes at all costs. I mentioned this to Romano. We had no choice but to allow my mom to try out various canes, but Romano was pointing out to her that she was very unstable using them. Then my wife pointed out the folding walker. It folds to the size of a cane which would allow my mom to easily get about in cars, vans, etc. This is a great new product. After realizing that canes were not a good idea, my mom loved and loves the folding walker. Sold. At a very reasonable price. Now I feel much better that we didn't have to fight over the cane idea and that my mom will be safe with her folding walker.

This is probably the worst cargo forwarder for balikbayan boxes that I have ever dealt with in my…read more40 years in the U.S. My wife, who is now In the Philippines, is still waiting for the three boxes that we have sent from Oceanside on Sept 2, 2011. That is a little less than 2 months ago. Normally, shipments arrive within a month. I called Champion Cargo in Spring Valley and after several attempts I was able to talk to a Tony Caoile. This guy is the biggest liar in the cargo services business as you will soon find out. When I talked to him 2 1/2 weeks ago he said he was going to contact their Manila office that evening and will call me back that same night to let me know the status of my shipment. He never did. I have had to call him again two days later. When I did contact him, he assured me that the boxes will be delivered that week. But they never did. I left several messages to Tony last week. I finally was able to contact him last Monday. And, sure enough, we went to the same routine -- asked me what my invoice number was, my phone number, and I got the same old promise that he would call Manila again. And he also promised to call me back as soon as he found out. In other words, the usual run-around. And, true to form, he never called back. I called him the next day. This time I got a new excuse - the boxes just arrived and will be delivered this week. Well, it's the same BS. I just received a text message from my wife. She tried contacting Champion Cargo in Manila, and, sure enough, the number is non-existent. The number I gave her is from the invoice copy. I have just about had it with Champion Cargo. If you are sending box(es) to the Philippines, be forewarned - you are better off using the more reliable LBC or others. Champion Cargo of Spring Valley is really BAD NEWS. By the way, I have called Tony and left messages no less than seven times since early October. I started recording my calls on Oct 18 (2x), Oct 21 (2x), Oct 24, Oct 28, and Nov 2. I have been able to talk to him once since Oct 18. This is not the end of it. I am taking thismatter up to state business license agency and/or Better Business Bureau for assistance. I am working to have their business license yanked for good or have them stop this scam against unsuspecting customers in the U.S..

He now blames 'his son', pointing the finger at someone else. I wish he would stop all his lies, but I'm getting nowhere with him. I'll stick with LBC now, but I will take this to court. What is sad is that one of the last shipments had medical supplies to help people in the Philippines. If they took any other box with personal items, it would have been fine, but it's the people over there that had to suffer. They will not get their promised donations, which is truly sad. *sigh* I will take him to court as soon as I can. If you have any info, please contact me. It looks like I'm not the only one who has been cheated by this family. They changed their company name and number, which I should have known was suspicious. Please contact me so I can build a case against him. I know that no matter what, he will get his karma for this. The cries of his victims will not go unanswered for long.
