Over the years, I've used many different pharmacies and never had a particularly good or bad experience. Very hum-drum. But then I used Elm St once and after that I was all set. They are my go-to pharmacy every time now. They really do redefine professionalism, courtesy, accuracy, and speed. They will have a line of 5 cars pull up but in 8 minutes they'd have them all cleared out. I call in for a refill and I get a text that it's ready literally 5-10 minutes later. They put other pharmacies to shame and I do mean that. I think they have a good team who have similar work ethics and who take pride in doing an excellent job so when you get that kind of synergy, it shows. I don't recall their names but the young female tech with dark hair, glasses, and a slight accent as well as the youngish male PharmD are fabulous. When you see them there, know that they're working hard to get your your Rx and they certainly raise the bar for all pharmacies to aspire to. Good job!

I called to ask if they had a medication in stock, and was told that they didn't have it. I asked him if he knew when they might get it in stock and he flipped out on me. Bottom line, he had no idea. When I asked what I should do in place of my meds and he was incredibly rude. He told me it wasn't his problem and I should figure it out myself. I asked his name so that I could call corporate (although I didn't tell him that) and he refused to give it to me saying "You don't need my name!" I asked again and he responded "I said you don't need my name!" I asked again and got the same response and then he hung up on me. I have been using this pharmacy for over 30 years. For a good portion of that time, the pharmacy employees were terrific. Then all of a sudden, they were all transferred to other pharmacies and replaced by rude, inconsiderate, impersonal, arrogant, impudent....you name it, employees. I got off the phone, shaking. I did call corporate and was told by another guy that I wouldn't hear back for three days, "maybe more", but he was sending in a report to them about the incident. He wasn't very personable either, but at least he didn't hang up on me. I have no idea what to do about my medication. I called another Rite Aid in town and was told that they were out of the medication and couldn't find out the availability time because their "system is down since last Friday" which I have heard several different times in the last months. I am at a loss as to what I should do. My insurance only lets me get scripts from Rite Aid. Any suggestions are welcomed.

They are also rude when they finally answer the call. I left months ago and went to Rite Aid and never had this problem but Rite Aid went under and guess who got all their patients? Yup so back in their circus. Last month my prescription was 5 days late and was told first come first serve. The app is useless because my medication is a controlled substance. And people wonder why some folks turn to the street for their medication. I wouldn't do that but I certainly understand why some do.

I had to call Walgreens in Pelham - in literally 3 mins they were able to find my prescription and said to come pick it up in 2 hours. Run from the Londonderry pharmacy - they are inept and rude.
