Unfortunately, when the person I gave them to tried to use them, we discovered there was no balance, and the PIN areas appeared to be scratched off or tampered with. The cards looked brand new, so there was no obvious way to know there might be an issue at the time of purchase. I plan to return to the store to speak with a manager and request a refund. Just a heads-up to double-check any gift cards you buy and verify the packaging before leaving the store and ask for receipts. I wouldn't recommend you buy gift cards at the store.

Strategically located in this shopping center where I came to get food, I was able to kill two birds without one stone, metaphorically! I found this particular Walgreens store to be spotless and neat, while providing very wide aisles. A herd of elephants can fit through these aisles, with no hesitation. The person at the register was kind and greeted me when I entered but failed to provide exemplary customer service by not asking me to input my number. I could have lost $3 in savings on this trip. Since I was the one to initiate me putting my number, I was able to save money with a healthy bit of change. I'm always inspired to save and cut costs. Walgreen came through for me today!
