The pool is huge with several straight lanes to swim plus an area to power walk with other adults. In the rear of the building, people were playing pickle ball on the basketball court. I took the elevator instead of the stairs to the second level where the weights and equipment are. The track to walk around surrounds the second floor. The outside parking lot has plenty of parking spaces. The center is in Dover and was a 20 minute drive from my area of Aurora. The center is open 7 days a week and holds many activities. The room with classes was ample and I look forward to sign up for some classes. There are 3 other locations spread across Aurora. The best part is with my United Healthcare card, membership is free!

Star #1 - Theres a wide variety of equipment available for use! Heck there's even a pool! Star #2 - They offer a selection of classes and leagues! Star #3 - Prices are reasonable! You can get just a day pass for $3.25, ten visit punch card for $29.25, twenty visit punch card for $58.50, or varying levels of membership depending in your needs. While I don't go to the Bennett Recreation Center often - I am glad to have it available to mix up my workout routine!

Anytime I see any sort of traffic, it's usually the people coming from the classes they offer. I haven't checked out the pool, but the basketball courts are solid whenever I want to get some shots up. Someone let me know if/when they ever have any solid pickup runs here!! Overall, I love coming here when I come to take a break from the city. The employees have always been very nice and welcoming.

My son started swim class today at Beck Rec Center - I hope things get better. It wasn't an awful…read moreexperience, but it wasn't great either. The class itself was good. The time leading up to class was absolute chaos though. There were a set of classes that ended at 10:15 and then another set that started at 10:15. I would estimate probably well over 75 kids were either in the pool or on the pool deck - plus all the parents. Once it was time to start the next set of classes it was a nightmare trying to dodge kids getting out of the pool. I feel like there should be a better way to transition from class to class time. All-in-all it wasn't a terrible experience. We will see how the rest of the classes go.

The restrooms are decent and located in a few different areas. There is space for teachers and students to get ready and go over logistics and get their camaraderie fix going for a very special day. There is also tons of parking available. Much of it is dirt and gravel so it might be a good idea to carry your nicely polished shoes inside. The drive out here can take a while so plan accordingly. All in all, a great experience.
