The two kids working were super kind and patient with my multiple orders as I became increasingly smitten with this place. I started with carrot cake and a Grapefruit Rambler sparkling water. The perfect snack. Sweet and just the right amount of frosting. I went back to order a turkey and havarti wrap with a side of pasta salad. It was plenty big and very fresh. A perfect healthy dinner for my flight home. I also got a thumbprint cookie which tasted like vegan short bread. Minesh, the new owner, came out to talk with me and he was so honest and welcoming about his efforts to make this cafe a success. I gathered it was his kids who were working. Truly a lovely place. I can't recommend it enough and hope I get the chance to go back some day if I ever find myself in Gruene again.

Turns out they have a curated selection of fresh juices (all priced at $8 for 12 oz), they also serve a small menu of snacks, non-vegan hot breakfast sandwiches ($7), all-natural snow cones ($5), and even adult brunch drinks ($4-$8). There's also free wifi and plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. My "Heavy Green" was just what I was craving, a Popeye's power-up with several living vegetable juices and a pinch of Himalayan salt. My partner went with the sweetest option on the menu of the day, the "Peach Punch" with pineapple and watermelon, of which he saved half to make a perfect cocktail later. The manager, Jeff, was super-friendly and someone I'd love to see succeed as a small biz owner.
